Falling Into Your Trap

Falling Into Your Trap
Destroyed the Unexpected

“Team, time to rest!”

Hala was jolted from his busy activities calculating promotional discounts for one of the products that was doing the end-of-year warehouse washing to one of the customers who were interested in buying. The woman who looked to be in her early thirties smiled faintly when the clumsy Hala heard the call from her team boss to tell her to rest. Apologizing softly, Hala handed over the note that he had calculated the nominal purchase to be brought to the cashier to pay for the purchase, the customer understood.

Sighs, sighed, Hala watched how his teammates rushed to put up red velvet ropes to fence parts of the product that were being promoted and several other children gave subtle announcements to customers who had just come to see.

It was lunch time. The break that Hala was convinced that he was not aware of had passed so quickly. Of course, from the busyness when he started to set foot in the work area, visitors began to flock to buy high-quality furniture worth selling for half the price.

“Hala, you want to go to the upper cafeteria, right? I want his fried meatballs, here. Very laper I turned out” Binar came over. The woman stroked her stomach to reveal how hungry she really was.

“Eh, I think you first, deh. You see, this morning, Hexa said she wanted to have lunch together. I just remembered the time you nyaranin fried meatballs” Hala chuckled. He almost said yes to his co-worker when Hexa's warning about the lunch appointment flashed through his head.

“Yaelah, La.lo every field work project must always be with Hexa. Have lunch with us, dong!” Binar sneered. The woman rolled her eyes funny. Hala knew, this friend of his did not try to offend him at all.

“Yes how.. because from here it is closer to his place of work Hexa. So he asked for lunch together mulu if I work field” Honest Hala with a small smile on his lips. The woman now pulled out the work phone she gave to Binar with a gentle gesture.

“Gue put this in the usual place, yes, Binar. Later I take it myself, kok” Hala patted a small hand of Binar before giving a blink of an eye to the co-worker. “Don't forget later give me the fried meatball review. Where knows I kepengen” then there is another oddity before Hala waved and rushed to his locker to pick up his personal phone.

Walking out the room of a large building filled with sales goods, as well as the many customers who came and went passing around, Hala felt so relieved to breathe the air that finally felt so free. The woman muttered cheerfully as she walked lightly to a stop not far from the basement - where she usually waited for Hexa when they promised to have lunch together.

“Today Hexa will make me eat where, yes.” Hala muttered, retracing her conversation with Hexa in their private rooms. “Hmm, I suddenly want to eat curry rice near the intersection of the monument, deh. I have not eaten there for a long time either.” he nodded, pleased with the selection of his lunch that appeared quickly.

Typing on a few short messages that were quickly replied to by Heksa who said that he would be there soon, Hala saved back his phone. His head was lifted from his activities and the woman chose to look around. People are looking for the lunch spot they want or just take a walk aimlessly on a pretty cloudy day for the size of daylight.

Just now Hala wanted to jump from the small street to the sidewalk where the access to the wheeled vehicle, his hand was suddenly pulled from behind to make him reflexively scream fear. His heart was beating profusely and his mouth wanted to curse at the person who might have had ill intentions towards him. However, he paused as soon as he saw who made the incident where his heart seemed to want to jump from his chest cavity.

“Eh? Aunt Neli.?” this time, he was confused when he realized that a woman of her age was in front of his eyes. Ah, not only is she the same age as her mother, she is a neighbor of her house and also a close friend of her mother.

Actually, this Aunt Neli himself was the person that Hala knew was two-faced. She knew her mother's friends were all as hypocritical as her own. Or so he really did not want to admit but was the so-called undeniable fact.

“Iya, right, this is Hala.” Aunt Neli sounded very cheerful as her smile expanded, Hala remembered how much she disliked the woman's expression when she was at home with her family. “Tante thought it was aunty wrong look, it turns out that really nak Hala. Auntie nice to meet you here, nak”

The woman laughed. Hands were placed in front of her lips which were lined with red lipstick that was too bright but matched the thick makeup of the woman.

“Ah, Yes, Aunt” Hala responds. Not wanting to show a real look of dislike to the woman. “Kok aunty can be here, anyway? Another vacation with family?” Hala straightened her posture, showing off her friendly, impressed little smile.

“Yes, nih. You see, Gerald's going to college here. That's why aunts all look around the area where Gerald will spend time. All the streets are here. Nak Hala also lives around here?” Aunt Neli was so eager to talk, that the woman returned to sniffing without waiting for a reply from her interlocutor. “If for example nak Hala lives around here, can dong later aunty please take care of Gerald? That's a little wayward kid, but he's nice, really. Never weird his son” he continued again.

Hala laughs. He was not sure he could fulfill the woman's wish. He did not want anything to do with his people. To be honest, he did not want anything to do with the people around his mother. Or even his own mother.

“Hala works here, aunt. Another field project. Later sometime Hala play Gerald if his son wants, yes?” There was hope that Hala wanted Hexa to quickly come and save him from this unimportant conversation.

“Oh, surely Gerald would, really. Kan used to be he often nak Hala keepin” Hala grimaced when the woman hit his shoulder with no kidding.

“Oh, yes, yes.. Hala had forgotten.” No. gabe. He didn't forget. But he did not want to remember things that were not at all important.

“Ah yes, aunt. Hala again rest.want to be picked up by Hala as well. Aunty if you want to eat lunch in the building there is cafeteria, really. Food's great. Hala no voucher also.. briefly.” Hala reached into her pocket. Clearly, he wanted to dodge immediately. Since Hala knew that she liked free things and food, she hoped that this time she could go and distract her mother's friend.

“aduh, don't bother. Thanks a lot yes, dear” Even so, Aunt Neli looks very happy when Hala gives her a food voucher. Inwardly, the woman grimaced to see her voucher fall into the hands of others. In fact, he already wanted to use it to buy snacks after returning home from work later. But yes, at least he had to get away from this unpleasant situation.

“Then it is, Hala first, yes, aunt”

“Eh wait a minute, son Hala”

Well, Hala forgets that sometimes this aunt Neli is so adamant and so stubborn. Silent, trying to calm herself down, Hala was sure she would hear what she did not want to hear at all.

“You know not, anyway, if your mom is the same Mr Arkham yesterday after returning from vacation from Bali? Yesterday aunty was given by them, you”

Hala. Naturally, the woman would not let him off the hook easily.

Putting on a good poker face, even though Hala wanted to beat up the old lady who either she was grateful for her honesty or condemned that honesty, she should still control herself well. He's tired of things like this. Aunt Neli must have wanted to see her reaction again like that time.

“Oh, yes? Mama no ngabarin me, anyway, aunt.” he said, almost like hiss. The mood just broke.

“Iya. Yesterday aunt was given her famous milk pie, you know. So yummy. Aunty wants to go to Bali, deh it feels” The woman gives a wide grin. Acting very innocent with a face that Hala longs to tonjok. “But aunt is confused, deh. Even though two weeks ago it was still very close to Mr. Deon. Aunts often see them talking long on the terrace while laughing. Where the decker sat again. Nempel that, tau.. kayak lah young pokonya” then, the woman giggled like what he just said is the funniest thing in the world.

I feel like vomiting.

“But instead of mommy same papa you haven't split yet, huh?” The woman started again. It was really nice to see how Hala felt like she was being stirred in a washing machine. He really wanted to disappear right now.

“How is your papa? What is busy now? Aunty remembered that Mr. Ganesh was still working at RS.Nagara.. “ faces made plain pretentious with confused eyes that did not match the age were present right in both eyes of Hala. His heart ached when his father's name was mentioned plainly.

Hala would not want to feel disgusted by anything that came out of the foul mouth of the woman.

“Papa good, aunt. Healthy too, Kok” Hala knows his voice sounds so jutek. But let it be, she doesn't need to look cute in front of a rotten person like that woman.

“tapi-,”

“Sorry aunt. I was picked up. First, yes, aunt”

Hala wanted to cry when she saw Hexa waving from the edge of the crowded stop. He ran very fast. No matter the screams of aunt Neli who was still trying to pry at her pain and flush it with lime juice and salt. Without the babibu, the woman immediately snatched the helmet from the shocked hands of Hexa and immediately climbed onto the bike. His trembling hands hugged Hexa's waist tightly.

Hala forgot her hungry stomach. He forgot the rice he wanted. Nor did he respond to anything that Heksa said. The woman even saw only Hexa eating with a thought she was trying to empty from disgusting shadows or she was going to throw up in front of everyone who was enjoying her lunch.

One cold hand wiping the sweat off her forehead made Hala wake up from the madness inside her head. Hexa looks very worried. In fact, the man did not finish his favorite meal as quickly as he usually did. Her iced tea water did not ludes at all in one gulp.

“Lo why, anyway, La? From that was so strange. Food is not eaten either. Lo again sick?” his best friend looks very worried. Hala wanted to spit out a cry as those eyes she liked looked at her with a look that showed that she cared about him.

“No, you eat, Sa. I was stuffed with bread by Binar. So it was a bit full” he forced a laugh so that the man was not so anxious. This is the problem anyway. Hexa does not need to know about how her stomach wants to remove food that is not there. Secretly, he also apologized for selling the name of Binar for his lies this time.

“Dih, anjir. Tau that I eat alone, do not need to invite you to eat outside” Hexa nagging. His face became somewhat sour and sulky when he took a spoon from his food plate. Honestly, Hala felt bad, but with Hexa's cute expression, it slightly faded her appetite for vomit.

“Yes, you're one of Binar. My son told me that if you want to have lunch together I was forced to eat bread with him. Sorry, yes. Next time I'll push it hard. Or did not immediately escape, deh” Hala chuckled. His clenched hand from earlier he lifted up to support his chin. Watching the Hexa eat peacefully.

“There is a number temen lo. Let me terrorize him because it has made trouble” The face of Sebal Hexa is still present. Hala laughed, pleased with the funny reaction. His hands were raised to pinch the man's bulging cheeks filled with rice and chicken curry.

“funny lo, Sa. Kayak hamster padl”

“Diem, lo. Even ngalihin talk” Although nagging, Hexa let Hala pinch on her cheek even though she was a bit difficult to chew. Hala's heart ached, softening only with this kind of unconscious gesture.

“No, ah. Later you even menggedeketin Binar, again. Get away from my friends! Crocodile!”

“Dog, you know, yes! I'm serious, La”

“Gue is also serious if lo, tuh, crocodile that looks like hamster” Again, Hala pinched Hexa's cheek with anxiety.

“Sinting, lo. Like fieldwork today makes your sanity disappear, dah” the man grumbled. It was still the same to let Hala hurt her cheek.

“Iya times, yes.” Hala muttered little. Look at his friend with a loving look. The finger that had been pinching the cheek of Hexa, now turned to gently stroke the already reddened surface.

“Heka.. can you be my girlfriend?”

Hala gasped as Hexa coughed badly. He knows, he's stupid and reckless. What about falling in love secretly and not asking for a reply? What about just supporting and loving Hexa by just being a friend and a home for the man?

Crazy hala. He wanted to cry because of his madness.

Hala does not know how her day goes after she is dropped off at work and returns to work like a robot. She can't remember how her co-worker asked her every time when she daydreamed and acted strangely. Hala also does not remember how he finished with his job, being called by Ivoran into one room, warned about mistakes he would not normally make on the pitch.

Hala felt like she was not alive. In fact, when he set foot in his house, changed clothes unconsciously, passing through Pipang-the ball of his beloved feather, to just sit in front of the TV that did not light at all.

Hala was not even aware when Hexa looked at him with a look of disbelief as if she had just seen a monstrous figure coming out of the TV screen like in horror movies.

All Hala knew was when her tears were dripping down profusely at the sight of how Hexa looked so angry and disappointed at him. Begging him that what he said was just an antics.

Oh, what else did he say?

“Gue love same lo, Hexa. Why can't you just react to my feelings?”

“Don't joke with me, Hala. I don't like kayak gini!”

Is correct. He expressed his feelings for Hexa. Acting so pitifully as Heksa snapped at him as if he had just thrown up a terrible fact that the man should not have heard.

“Lo if you want to joke, not this topic that can be arbitrary lo soin material” Hexa looks very frusati. Her eyes were dark and sad - no, more on the fact that she was disappointed. Seemed very unhappy with what Hala threw at him.

“Why do you think of my feelings as a joke, Sa?.. I love you lo..” Hala did not know when she was sobbing, but apparently she was already sobbing.

This is one of Aunt Neli who came and incised a wound on her fragile heart regarding her broken little family. No, it's her mother's fault. Yes, it is the woman who gave birth to her that ruined her precious life.

“Hala, you know I love you too. You don't even know how I feel about the real lo. But not this. This is not what you should have told me!” Hexa snapping. Scrambling his hair like he's the one who's crazy here.

“Lo know? I'm upset. I am very angry with you who have ruined our relationship. I hate it when everything is broken like this. Ah dog! I am very disappointed, Hala!” one more scream. The man stopped pacing in front of him. “Sial, I'm stressed!”

“Hex.. sorryin I.”.

“Gue go. This mall I don't want to see your face anymore. Fuck me so angry. Ah pig!”

Hala couldn't register what happened. Everything feels so fast. Even when he heard the main door of his house being slammed violently by Hexa, even when he cursed his mother in his head violently, he said, even when her beloved kitten jumped onto her lap and rubbed her body all over Hala's body, all she could think of was how she cursed her mother with a thousand different curse words.

Now, the only person trusted to protect her and be her comforting place had already left. In fact, hating him like all the good this afternoon was just a shame.

Hala's ears were ringing, her tears falling like she didn't want to stop.

Hexa hates. The people he loved hated him.

His mother betrayed him, ruined his family.

But, Hala was the one to blame for ruining her own life.

And when Hala wanted to bury herself in the bad darkness, her phone rang in one notification.

Brother Sinar:

Hala. I miss the same lo..

Hala might be crazy. However, he couldn't be crazier than this when he started to let his selfishness take over.
