Chapters 101. Inner Shouts

Lian arrives at Nathan's school and begins to look for the person she yearns for. But it is not that easy Lian can enter the school. Lian had to meet with the school guard and be given some questions.

Nathan's school is of international standard, of course its facilities and guardianship are quite strict. Lian begged to be allowed in, but the guard still wouldn't let her in.

"I beg you, sir. Please let me in! I have to meet my son!" Lian pleaded as if there was no other day to meet Nathan.

"Sorry, Madam. I can't let you in. After all you are not registered as an introductory or pick up student at this school. Please understand!"

The guard left Lian who was still waiting in front of the school gate.

Amidst the scorching sun, Lian faithfully waited in front of the school.

"I have to meet my son! I have to meet my son!" Lian muttered many times.

When the school is over, the students start to drop out of their classes. Somehow Nathan felt that someone was waiting for him outside the school gates. Even as teachers and school guards called and chased him, Nathan ran out.

Lian who saw Nathan running immediately smiled happily from outside the gate. He believes the bond between them is very strong even though they have been separated for years.

"Nathan!!!" lian exclaimed with teary eyes.

"Aunt Lian!" Nathan called Lian back.

Lian's eyes sparkled at Nathan's arrival running towards her. Nathan asked the gatekeeper to open the door.

When her net caught the figure of the little man, Lian immediately crouched down and spread her hands out.

Unexpectedly Nathan hugged Lian who was preparing to welcome him.

"My son!!" Lian exclaimed while tightly hugging the small body.

Julian, who had just arrived in front of Nathan's school, was stunned by the sight of the mother and child. There was a sense of relief when Lian finally found her son. But anxiety also haunts him when he sees Kartika approaching the two of them and immediately releases Lian and Nathan's embrace.

"Let go of my son!" Kartika Seru.

Lian was stunned to find Kartika there.

"Sister! Please let me hug him! He is my son!" Lian pleaded with tears that were no longer contained.

"You! You crossed your line, Lian! Nathan is my son! Go, Son! We're leaving!" Kartika immediately pulled Nathan's hand and took him into the car.

"Sister! Please give me back my son!" Lian holds Kartika's feet.

Julian immediately approached the two.

"Julian! Please bring your woman! And don't bother me and my son anymore! I let him hug my son at that moment. But I don't know if you'll cross the line. Release!" Kartika flicked her legs until Lian fell.

"Sir Tika! He is my son!" Lian is still struggling.

"Lian! Stop that!" Julian held onto Lian's arm and helped her stand up.

"He's my son, brother! Please let me take my son!"

"Lian! Calm yourself! Are you out of your mind already? Kartika does not know what really happened. You don't make him keep you away from your son!" Julian Lerai.

"Yes! I am no longer sane! How can you do this to me! You and that woman named Zara are the same! You've separated me and my son!" Lian shouted in front of Julian.

Julian speechless. He thought for a moment. It wouldn't be nice if he was also carried away with emotions like Lian.

"All right, I'm sorry. Now we better get home first. I promise I'll talk to Kartika about this. I-i know him. I'm sure I can make him understand. Okay?" Refer Julian with his soft voice.

Lian nodded in understanding. He follows Julian's instructions to get into the car. Julian brought Lian back to the Avicenna family home and asked the guards to watch the house closely so that Lian would no longer leave quietly like today.

That night, Julian came to Kartika's house. Actually he doubted whether Kartika would accept it or not. But it seems Kartika also wants to know what has happened with Lian to hysterical like this afternoon.

Kartika remained silent and listened to what Julian was going to say.

"Lian is my sister-in-law. She was Roy's wife. Do you remember Roy?"

"Eh?" Kartika was a little surprised.

"Lian and Roy lost their son five years ago. Someone swapped their baby in the hospital. All this time Lian knew if her son had died. But a few days ago, we found evidence that Lian and Roy's son is alive. He was adopted by the Langdon family. That's your husband's name, isn't it?"

Kartika was silent.

"I don't know how to convey it. But, I can't stand the suffering that Lian is going through. I promised I'd find his son and bring him home." Julian spoke in the smoothest voice possible.

"And you came here to take my son? That so?"

"It's not like that. I just wanted to talk to you. Maybe you can understand how Lian feels."

"Then what about me? I've been taking care of Nathan for three years. I love him like my own son. How could I just let go of it? Did Lian ever think how I felt? Have you ever thought about my feelings? You only care about Lian's feelings! This is so weird, Julian. I just came back and I have to find this reality! I can't take it. Nathan is my son! Although I didn't give birth to her but she is my son!"

Julian can't say anything more. What Kartika said was true. He's been taking care of Nathan. It must have been very difficult to give Nathan to his biological family.

"I'll excuse you. We'll talk again when things are calmer. Again I'm sorry." Julian said goodbye to Kartika.

Kartika was silent and did not give any answer to Julian. He immediately went to his room and poured out all the sadness of his heart.

Actually, Kartika himself had guessed, his decision to return to Indonesia was not a good thing. He has a feeling that here, Nathan will find his real family again. And it turns out that all his hunches were true.

Kartika contacted George and asked him to come home. George went straight to the Kartika residence when he heard the sound of Kartika sobs from a telephone connection.

"Where is Lady Kartika?" George asked when he arrived at Kartika's house.

"The lady's in her room, sir." Answer a servant.

"Actually who was the one that Madam just met?"

"So a man came to see the Madam, sir."

George nodded. "alright. I'll see him."

George knocked on the door and entered. Seen Kartika was sitting on the edge of the bed while looking far away.

"Kartika.." call George.

George sat next to Kartika.

"Please take us away, George!" Pinta Kartika holding George's arm.

"Eh? Whatchu mean?"

"They want to take Nathan, George! I can't let them take Nathan away from me!" Kartika's crying is getting worse.

"So, did you meet Nathan's real family?"

Kartika. "I'm not giving up Nathan, George. He's my son! And it will be forever!"

George brought Kartika in his arms.
