Chaptre 43. Finding Belinda
Roy and Patrick arrive at a point Boy had been looking for yesterday. But between Patrick and Roy feel confused because they seem to be misplaced.
"Jul, is this really the place?" roy asked, looking at him.
"Yes, Roy. This is the coordinate point Boy found."
"But this is the car rental place, Jul. Is Belinda here?"
"Come, Roy. We'd better go inside and ask." Patrick suggested.
The two of them entered the car rental place and looked for people they could ask.
Roy enters a room that reads admin room.
"Excuse me!" roy said, knocking on the door.
"Please!" a beautiful woman welcomed the arrival of the two of them.
"Sorry, Miss. I would like to ask if two days ago someone rented a car on behalf of Mr Eric Kim?"
"If you can know, what for?"
Patrick immediately took out his police badge.
"There is a possibility that a man named Eric Kim has committed a crime. If you are not willing to help, then we can also ensnare you in a legal case." Patrick said.
The woman seemed to think. "Wait a minute, yeah!"
Patrick glanced at Roy who seemed to be glaring at him. Patrick pressed his shoulders.
"Gentlemen please meet my boss alone upstairs" said the woman later.
Patrick and Roy walk upstairs. There is a closed room. Roy knocked on the door immediately.
"Come in" a voice answered from within.
Roy opened the door. A young man was sitting in his big chair.
"Please sit down, gentlemen" said the fat man.
"I'm Patrick Hensen, FBI agent. I'd like to ask you a few questions. Sorry to sir..."
"James Chow." the man replied.
"All right, Mr. Chow. Look, our arrival here was to ask about a car tenant named Eric Kim. Is there anything suspicious about that guy? It's likely that a man named Eric Kim was involved in the kidnapping of a rising model named Bella Belinda."
James Chow panicked and started sweating.
"You better tell me what you know." - Roy.
"Alright, calm down, gentlemen. I really don't know if Eric's gonna commit a crime. Two days ago he came here and asked me to find a luxury car for him to rent. I don't know where he got the money from, because as far as I'm concerned he's in financial trouble. His career as a producer is over."
Patrick and Roy looked at each other.
"If we may know, can we see the car that Eric hired?" ask Patrick.
"Come, come with me!"
Roy and Patrick follow James Chow. They headed to a room containing rows of luxury cars that were usually rented.
James points to one car that Eric rented yesterday.
"When did Eric get this car back here?" ask Patrick.
"Yesterday night." replied James.
"Give us time to check this car." Patrick asked permission.
"Please!" then James left them both.
Patrick immediately checked the inside of the car. He was looking for something that might be a clue.
Patrick found something under the doormat of the car.
"Roy!" Patrick showed me a small object that was a hairpin.
"So, it's Belinda's?"
"really. This hairpin contains a chip to keep it track."
"Have a point of location here. Turns out his hairpin had fallen off. Then, what do we do, Jul?"
"Try me a picture of this car and send it to Jimmy Choo. Ask him if it's really this car that Eric used to pick up Belinda."
Roy nodded in understanding. Moments later, Roy gets a reply from a message he sent Jimmy.
"Really, Jul. This is the car Eric used yesterday to meet Belinda."
Patrick nodded then thought for a moment. "We need to find Eric Kim. Let's ask James where Eric lives."

Roy and Patrick continue their journey to an apartment where Eric Kim lives. They hope this time they will succeed.
Before long, they arrived in front of Eric's room. Roy pressed Eric's apartment bell. Repeatedly pressed the bell, but there was no answer from within.
Roy starts to get upset that it looks like Eric has run away from his apartment.
"How is it, Jul? Looks like that jerk has escaped. If this is Zara's plan, I'm sure she paid Eric Kim a fortune to get out of here."
"Gear!!! Open door!!" Patrick banged on Eric's bedroom door.
"Alright, Jul. I think he's run away. Don't you have any acquaintances who can trace Eric's whereabouts?"
"Kenzo and Boy can do it."
"We'd better get back to the apartment. We need to talk to Boy and Kenzo."
"Alright, Roy. Come on!!"
Not yet Roy and Patrick stepped up, Roy's phone rang. A call from Ben.
"Hello, Ben. What's up?"
"............"
"What!!!" Roy looked at Patrick worriedly.
".............."
"alright. Thank you for letting me know. You can handle all my work, right?"
"............."
"Thank you, Ben."
Roy ended the call.
"What's up, Roy? Is there a problem?" ask Patrick.
"Julian, there's something going on with Kenzo and Riana. We have to get home soon."
"What is that, Roy?"
"Explain later on the way." Roy immediately stepped out of Eric Kim's apartment followed by Patrick's step.

Arriving at the apartment, Roy and Patrick are immediately greeted by Kenzo and Riana. Patrick already knows the core of Roy's story about Kenzo's dismissal as a doctor at Avicenna hospital. Patrick hugged Kenzo.
"I'm sorry, bro. I've got you in trouble." sorry Patrick.
"Don't worry, bro. I'm just happy because I've been separated from the witch named Zara." joked Kenzo.
Roy and Riana, who heard Kenzo's joke, laughed.
"Hows it? Did you find Belinda? Why are you two coming?" ask Kenzo.
Boy who heard the adult conversation in the living room, immediately came out of his room.
"Uncle, how? Where's Mama?" ask Boy.
Patrick and Roy look at each other.
"Darling, forgive Papa. Papa hasn't found Mama yet. Be patient!"
"Then what about the location point yesterday?" ask a disbelieving Boy if his tracking doesn't work.
Patrick gives Belinda's hairpin a fall in Eric Kim's rented car.
"This is.." said Boy disconnected.
"The hairpin you made Uncle found in the car that took your Mama. I think the clamp fell."
"Then now what do we do, Pa, Uncle?" Boy looked at Patrick and Roy alternately.
"Calm down, kid. We can definitely find your Mama" Patrick said.
Roy hugs Boy and calms him down. He could not hear his son's sobs.
And the three adults who saw Boy crying because of the loss of his mother.
"Mama... Mama..."
"Don't cry, son. We'll definitely find Mama. Papa promise!" roy said by stroking Boy's hair.
