Chaptre 50. Julian's Pain

A few days ago, Zara met Julian at the Ar-Rayyan building. Zara said she had something that would make Julian open his eyes.

The past evidence that Zara had kept for her to open at the right time. Now he had no choice but to open it in front of Julian. He had to find people to work with.

"You must want to know who's been behind your pain all this time, right?" ask Zara.

"What do you mean?" ask Julian.

"Do you know if your mother didn't die in an accident?"

"Well?!" Julian was still thinking clearly before trusting Zara.

"Listen Julian. I'm doing this because ... We are very suitable to be partners. I know I look like I did this on purpose because of my grandfather's will. But, I'm sure we can be great partners together."

"No need to beat around the bush. Just tell me directly what you want to say!" Julian was getting impatient.

"I have evidence that your mother didn't die in an accident, but was intentionally obliterated."

Julian gritted his teeth. "Say!"

Zara smiled faintly. "This. You see for yourself. All the evidence is there."

Zara gave Julian a map. Some files are in that map.

Julian read one by one the files listed there.

"You're sure this is all true?" ask Julian to make sure.

"Do you think I'd joke about something like this?" Zara stared at Julian's bead confidently.

"alright. For now I trust you. I'm just wondering. What made you turn around to ask for my support?"

"There's no excuse. I've been heartbroken with all their games. I can't stay silent anymore."

Julian was silent and said nothing more. Everything he would keep to himself first because this was like a time bomb that could explode at any moment.

Returning to the present where Julian is confronted with Belinda who asks for an explanation from him. Julian opened his desk drawer and showed me a torn paper from an old newspaper.

"What's this?" ask Belinda.

"You said you wanted to know about Belinda. Read it!" pinta Julian's.

Belinda again set her sights on the old paper tear. He read carefully the contents of the news headline in the newspaper.

"So, she's Belinda?"

Julian nodded.

"Why did you give me that name?"

Julian breathed. He took both of Belinda's hands.

"Maybe it's time I was honest. Since meeting you I .. have felt something else in my heart. You're not Belinda and you can never be her. You are the Diamond Princess. The woman I have to protect and look after."

"Pats..." Belinda brushed Julian's delicate hand. He didn't want Julian to get carried away.

"He died mysteriously. His body was found in the middle of the forest. No one knows for sure who took him to the forest and wiped him out."

Julian's face turned sad.

"Even the police found no trace of the culprit. Until finally the case was closed without any clarity."

Belinda felt sorry for Julian.

"Then about my mom. My mother died in a car accident. The car he was riding in went into the abyss. And he died at the scene." Julian closed his eyes feeling the pain in his heart that came back.

Belinda's outstretched hand hugged the now trembling large body.

"I'm sorry. Sorry for opening up your pain, Pat. I'm sorry."

Julian breaks Belinda's embrace.

"No, Bels. You're not wrong. You just want to know what's hidden behind your name."

"Pat, since I already know the story then .. I don't think I can use the name Belinda anymore. I mean..."

"Yes, it's okay. I-i understand. Roy is by your side. And Roy's family has to accept you and Boy. My job as your guard is done, Bels. The mission given by Professor Gerald is complete."

Belinda sighed and smiled at Julian.

Belinda entered her apartment in a gontai move. He passed through the lobby without looking around. Her heart was also pierced with the pain Julian had felt in the past.

"Belle..."

A voice spread the melancholy of Belinda.

"Doctor Roy?"

"Where are you from? I thought you'd go straight back to your room as soon as I left."

"No. I just saw Patrick."

"Walking my brother? Where's?"

"Ah, so."

Roy and Belinda walked together into the elevator. No conversation took place while they were in the elevator.

When the elevator arrived on the 17th floor, Belinda said goodbye to Roy.

"I'll excuse you, Doctor Roy."

"Ah yes, Bels." Roy replied awkwardly.

Belinda. "Will the doctor stop by?" belinda.

"Eh? Sure. Of course." Roy came out of the elevator.

Arriving at Belinda's apartment, the two of them are greeted by Riana.

"Hi, Ri. You haven't slept?" ask Belinda.

"Oh, not yet Bels. But this I'm going into the room. You guys just talk in the living room."

"I'm sorry, because you have to be suspended for a month." said Roy.

"Ah, it's okay. Just suspended. Lucky I didn't get fired." joked Riana then went inside her room.

"Please sit down, Doctor" said Belinda.

"Ah, yes."

"What do you want to drink?"

"White water only. Thank you." Thank you."

Belinda immediately headed to the kitchen and picked up a glass of water for Roy.

Roy smiled as he received a glass from Belinda. "Thank you."

Belinda sat opposite Roy.

"So, is there anything you want to ask?" Roy opened the conversation.

Yes, Belinda invited Roy to visit because there are things to talk about.

"Umm, I just want to know why you're hiding the fact that you're sisters. You and Patrick."

"I didn't mean to hide it. I just feel like things are gonna get complicated if you figure out my relationship with Julian. You feel like it's Avicenna's family that's been making you suffer for years. Then suddenly you find out that the person you've been with is also part of the Avicenna family. That would be a huge disappointment to you."

Belinda understood what Roy was saying.

"Did Patrick ask you to keep this a secret from me?"

"No. Julian never said anything to me. So ... What did you hear from him tonight?"

Roy begins to break up Belinda and Julian's relationship. "You were so close that you came home to her."

"We're close because he used to be Boy's mentor at the FBI."

"Then now?" There seems to be an unusual feeling when Roy finds out the closeness of his brother and Belinda. Moreover, her brother pinned the name Belinda on the Diamond.

"He's my friend. She told me about her past pain. I didn't expect him to keep such a heavy burden."

Roy watched carefully the look on Belinda's face when telling her about her brother.

"Why?" ask Belinda.

"No. It's okay."

"It looks like what you're saying is true, doctor. If Patrick wouldn't do anything bad."

"I didn't know what caused him to leave. If only I had known then .. I would have stopped him. I'll convince him if he's not alone. There's me always with him."

"You can say it now. It's a little late, but it's better than nothing."

Belinda stared at Roy's round bead which implied regret.

"You know, I'm going back to being the Diamond Princess. I'm not going to hide anymore."

"You're serious?" roy's eyes sparkled.

"Yes. I seriously. We'll face it all together. The three of us." - Belinda.

Roy who was very happy immediately brought Belinda in his arms.

"Thank you, Bels."

Belinda nodded in Roy's arms.
