Chapters 13. Is He my Son?
Roy returns to his study after meeting Boy and Belinda. Just briefly landing his body in the seat of his greatness, Roy is back in interruption with the arrival of the police chief who asks him to investigate the case. Without being able to resist, Roy immediately returned to the autopsy room.
“Good afternoon, Doctor Roy. Sorry to bother you again,” said the police chief named Danial.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Danial. It'sit's okay. Isn't it my duty to help the police,” replied Roy.
Actually Roy did all the work from the police force was volunteering. He did not get paid for the investigation he had done. As a businessman, Roy knows that his difficult work can make the company stronger and respected. And that he has proven with the progress of the Avicenna Group after being taken over by Roy who received support from many parties including
constabulary.
Roy started wearing his medical mask as well as gloves. He observed a glimpse of the body that had been stretched stiff. He held some vital parts of the body. Soon after, Roy began to pick up the scalpel and cut open the body's chest. Slowly examine the heart that is not beating.
Two hours in a cold room, Roy finally began to fatigue. He held his chest that hurt. Roy's body began to look, then he held on to the objects around him. The watch that was coiled in Roy's hand sounded a loud signal that his heart had been working too hard.
Roy walked into his room. On the way, Roy meets Ben who immediately holds his body.
“Master! Mister is okay? I'll call Doctor Maliq.” Benjamin breaks Roy's body on the couch in Roy's room.
Roy does not answer but Roy's expression of pain can already make Benjamin know if he currently needs a doctor. As fast as lightning Benjamin passed from Roy's room and headed for Maliq's room, the doctor and Roy's best friend.
Benjamin returns with Maliq with him. Maliq immediately checked Roy's condition which was closing his eyes withstanding the pain.
“Ben, please ask the nurse to bring the gurney here.” Maliq.
“Good, doctor.”
Ben ran back and called some nurses who were carrying hospital gurneys.
“Hurry help to lay Roy in the gurney!” Maliq.
Maliq immediately took Roy to his examination room and gave the medicine to Roy.
Roy's condition is slowly improving. For years Maliq conducted research on Roy's illness. There is no sure cure for that yet. Maliq only managed to make pain relief when the disease relapsed.
“I told you not to take too much work, Roy. Didn't you do autopsy? Why are you taking the case again? It's not good for your heart. You should remember about your health.” Maliq gave him a long advice.
Roy just nodded. “Thank you. I know I can count on you, Maliq.”
“But about your health, it all depends on you. If you follow my advice then you will be able to live longer. I'm not God, Roy. I don't know when someone's heart will stop beating. All I can do is help to slow down the progression of your disease. But I can't cure you.” There was a sense of regret on Maliq's face.
“Do not worry. I won't die until I find all these puzzles.” Roy patted Maliq on the shoulder.
“Hah? Riddle?” Maliq does not understand, but not so with Ben. He knew exactly what Roy meant.
“Children named Boy. Who has investigative and forensic skills like me. I wonder about the boy. Is it possible that he is my son?”
“Heh?! Roy, don't joke!” Maliq chuckled.
“I'm not kidding. There's something the world never knew about me.” Roy said with a distant look.
Maliq glanced at Ben who only answered by twitching his shoulders.

Meanwhile, in a different place, Patrick was checking files on Boy that he got from his American counterpart. The night was getting late and Patrick was still awake because he wanted to find what he was looking for all this time.
“Not yet, why did you wake up?” Patrick asked back while remaining focused on the documents before him.
“I'm just thirsty. I want to take a drink.”
After taking a glass of water, Kenzo sat on the sofa and watched Patrick.
“You're checking what?” Ask Kenzo.
“File about Boy.”
“What's up with Boy? Are you still looking for answers to Professor Gerald's request?”
“Yes, that's it. I wonder who Boy.”'s biological father is
Kenzo shut his mouth. “Jeez, Pat! If Belinda finds out about this she'll be mad at you.”
“Yeah. That's because he's never been honest with Boy as well as the world. I'm pretty sure Boy's genius is certain
wondering who his real father is.”
“Then did you manage to find the answer?” Kenzo gets curious about Patrick's search this time. He was also very curious about Boy. And Kenzo also felt something strange about it.
“Pat, is there any chance that Boy is your son?”
“Heh?! Don't be silly! Boy is probably my son! I never even did that with.” Patrick was embarrassed to continue his sentence.
