Chaptre 42. Stern Warning

That morning, Roy and Patrick were already preparing with their casual outfits. Today they will be looking for traces of Belinda from the point where the chip was found by Boy. It felt like Roy was really impatient to find the heart of his heart.

"Boy, today you will be accompanied by Uncle Kenzo and Aunt Riana. Your Uncle and your Papa will be looking for your Mama. Pray that we can find Mama safe" Patrick told the six-year-old.

"Good, Uncle."

"After school you should be with Uncle Kenzo and Aunt Riana" Roy said.

"Yes, Pa. Don'worry. I'm definitely gonna be a good boy. Oh yeah, the location point still hasn't changed since I found it last night. Hopefully it's true Mama is there." explained Boy with a sad look on his face.

Roy hugged his son. "Don't be sad! Papa promised to find Mama in good shape."

Boy nodded in Roy's arms. Patrick and Roy say goodbye to Kenzo and Riana.

"I'm putting Boy on you, yeah" Roy told Kenzo.

"Good, doctor. You guys just calm down. I'll make sure Boy's safe." said Kenzo.

After Belinda disappeared, the security of Boy was tightened by Patrick and Roy. Roy doesn't want anything to happen to his son. It is enough that Belinda alone must accept the consequences of Roy's decision to separate from Zara.

Simultaneously, Kenzo and Riana get a call from Avicenna hospital, where they work. Not knowing who to leave Boy with, Kenzo finally asked a nanny named Holly to look after Boy. Although Holly was a woman, she was skilled in martial arts and used firearms. Kenzo accidentally gives Holly a gun to use just in case something is not wanted.

Kenzo and Riana went together to the hospital. Kenzo feels something is wrong here. This morning he had sent a license if today he could not enter work because of personal affairs. But after a few hours, the hospital contacted Kenzo and said he had to come because of urgent circumstances.

"Ken, don't you feel anything strange?" riana asked as Kenzo was busy staring at the street in front of her.

"That's it, don't think about things that haven't happened" Kenzo replied. He didn't want Riana to worry.

Riana did not answer again and chose silence. It seems Kenzo is also experiencing the same turmoil as himself.

Arriving at the hospital, Kenzo and Riana are greeted by Mike, who is Donald Avicenna's assistant. Kenzo and Riana look at each other but they keep following Mike's steps.

They both arrived in one of the rooms and there was Donald, Dandy and Helena, and several senior doctors sitting side by side.

"Please sit down, Dr. Kenzo, Riana's doctor" Dandy said.

Kenzo and Riana sat next to each other and faced the six people who were sitting facing them.

Riana's heart was beating more than usual. He knew he would be tried for a mistake. But what mistake? He is still looking for that answer.

While Kenzo, he looked calm facing the six people who incidentally are senior doctors and also the directors of the hospital.

"Thank you for coming to you both. You were invited here because there was a report about you two that we had to follow up." Dandy opened.

Riana swallowed her saliva.

"Are you really living together?" ask Helena as a representative of Avicenna hospital directors.

"Eh?" Riana dumbfounded.

Kenzo gave Riana the code to shut up. Let Kenzo answer that.

"really. We live together in one apartment, but different units." Answer Kenzo flat.

Helena breathed her. "Then, are you tied up in marriage?"

"No. We are both unmarried." - Kenzo.

Riana could only re-dress her clothes and kept her head down. He felt that something bad would happen to both of them.

"Then how can you be a guardian for a boy named Boy?" continued Helena.

Kenzo pulled the corner of his lips. "So this is all about Boy? I've guessed. This must be Zara's work." Kenzo's mind.

"There is no rule that an unmarried person should not have foster children." Kenzo replied.

"But you didn't report this to the directors. Events like this can damage the image of the hospital. Moreover, your profession is a doctor. How can you not heed the code of ethics as a doctor?" Helena began to grow angry because Kenzo did not hesitate one bit.

"We know the risks. For that, we are ready to be punished." said Kenzo.

Riana looked up and looked at Kenzo. "How could he talk so lightly? What's my family's fate if I'm dishonorably discharged as a doctor?" riana began to rumble.

"Brother Kenzo Watanabe. You also malpractice one of the patients that resulted in the patient dying. But since the patient's family is not suing the hospital, we will not be extending the issue. But, we have to give a pretty heavy sanction for you. Namely, dishonorably fired and revoked your title as a doctor." explains Dandy.

"Well?!" Riana was very surprised by all the facts that were revealed about Kenzo.

"Well, I'm ready to accept the sanctions given by the board of directors and also the doctor's bond."

It is true, Kenzo did not malpractice directly, but on Zara's orders because Kenzo was his assistant. Of course Zara's orders must be obeyed. He didn't know it would all end like this.

Kenzo tidied up the stuff in his room. During his time as Zara's assistant, Kenzo did not carry much stuff. Just a few books on medical science.

Zara smiled happily towards Kenzo who was a little.

"Well, well, I didn't expect you to get out of here at last" he said cynically.

"yeah. It's time for me to go, isn't it?" reply Kenzo getir.

"Looks good! Don't ever mess with me or you'll know the consequences." threatened Zara.

Kenzo just smiled thinly. "Just do what you want to do. I wonder how far you can go."

"You!!! This is a stern warning to you as well as the people you protect. Don't let you be sorry for meddling too much in my troubles." Zara left Kenzo who was still tidying up his things. Kenzo doesn't expect Zara's cunning to exceed what he predicted.

After tidying up his belongings, Kenzo walked out of his study. He meets Donald who smiles at him.

"Mr Donald?" Kenzo greets Donald.

"I'm sorry, son. I can't help you."

"It's okay, Sir. I already know if this is gonna happen sooner or later."

"I'm the one who put you in this position."

"It's gonna be better for me, sir."

Donald patted Kenzo's shoulder slowly and then passed.

Kenzo continued his steps to the parking lot. He saw Riana there. His eyes were already glazed at Kenzo's arrival.

"I'm sorry." said Riana.

"That's it. I'm fine." Kenzo replied.

"It's all because of me." Riana was crying.

Kenzo could not bear to hear Riana's cry. He grabbed Riana's body and grabbed her.

"It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself."

"But still. You're fired from here."

"That's better than me having to keep undercover."

Riana let go of Kenzo's embrace.

"Whatchu mean? Aren't you a real doctor?"

"Of course not. I'm just disguising myself as a doctor."

"Huh?! How come?"

"Although in disguise I also gained training as a doctor in the truest sense. Never mind, we'll just go home." Kenzo wiped away the remaining tears on Riana's face.

"Thank you for worrying about me. Most importantly your job as a doctor is not threatened. It doesn't matter that I have to lose this job. I'm still working as an FBI agent." Kenzo said while rubbing Riana's face.
