Chapters 16. Belinda's Grief
Belinda set her breath after seeing the event that made her shocked. His house was blown up and burned down. Belinda sat down. The middle-aged man who turned out to be the village chief gave Belinda a glass of drinking water to make her calmer.
“Drink first, Nak Lian. I apologize for the condition of Nak Lian's house,” said Hendra, the village chief.
Belinda received a glass from Hendra's hand. “Thank you, Sir.”
After Belinda calmed down a bit, she began to ask Hendra. He and Patrick sat next to Hendra in the living room of the middle-aged man's house. He lives alone in that house.
“Tell me the truth, Mr. Village Chief. What happened to this village? why are the villagers disappearing?” Ask Belinda anxiously. “Then where are my father and mother? Where did they go?”
“Bels, relax! We first listen to the explanation of Mr. Hendra.” Patrick Sahut.
“Previous I'm sorry, Nak Lian. The villagers here all moved after some people often came here and messed up in this village.” explained Hendra.
“Kissing? How messed up, Sir?” Patrick seems enthusiastic.
“They terrorized the villagers and threatened them all. Finally the villagers relented and chose to move from this village.”
“Hah?” Patrick and Belinda looked at each other.
“Then who did all this, sir? Do they have a relationship with Belinda?” Ask Patrick.
“It is not so clear where they are from and who they are. But, you have heard from the villagers if they mention about Avicenna Group.”
“Hah? Avicenna Group?” Belinda and Patrick look at each other.
“Nak Lian, what exactly happened to you? You've been gone for seven years and you're back now. You are worried if the arrival of these people to this village is related to Nak Lian.”
Belinda lowered her face. Patrick beckons Hendra not to ask about Belinda's past.
“Sir, then where are my father and mother? Did they move too? Where did they move, sir? Tell me!” Belinda looked desperate.
“Quiet, Bels.” Patrick holds Belinda's shoulder.
“Sorry, Son Lian. I don't know where Nak Lian's parents are. Those guys brought Nak's father and mother Lian.”
“What?!” Belinda's body was limp as if it had no life. His eyes warmed up and began to drip clear circles in his corners.
“Dad... Mother..I'm sorry..” Belinda covered her face with both hands and cried.
“Bels..” Patrick extends his hand to hug Belinda's shoulder.
“What you heard, if Nak Lian's father and mother are dead.”
Lian's crying got louder. “No! No way! If mom and dad are dead where are their graves, sir?” with a little bit of excitement Belinda still wanted to find the bright spot of the matter.
“Bapak doesn't know. Forgive me, Nak.”
“Pat, I'm sure that my father and mother are not dead. I'm sure they're alive.” Belinda pulled Patrick's arm as if asking him to look for the whereabouts of his parents.
Patrick took Belinda into his arms. He calmed Belinda. He really could not see the sadness
Belinda.
After a long conversation with Hendra, Patrick decides to bring Belinda back. Luckily Patrick parked his car a bit away from Belinda's house, so his luxury car is still safe and not destroyed by those people.
Patrick got Belinda in the car first. He was with Hendra.
“Thank you for helping us. I don't know what our fate would be like if you didn't help us. Speaking of which why you are still here and do not move with the villagers

“Because I can't leave this village, Nak Patrick. I seem to be tied to this village and have to look after it.”
“Ah, so.” Patrick nodded in understanding. “And I ask you to tell me if those people come back here again, Mr.”
“Alright, Son Patrick. Please take care of Nak Lian yes.”
“Definitely, Sir. I will definitely take good care of Belinda.”
“Belinda?”
“Ah, since I knew something like this would happen then I asked Lian to change her name to Belinda. Just in case, sir.”
“Good name. Be careful on the road yes, Nak.”
“Then I excuse you, Sir.”
Patrick starts driving his car out of Belinda's hometown. During the trip, Belinda just fell silent and looked out the car glass.
“Bels... Are you okay?” Ask Patrick at the end.
“Hmm.” Belinda answered only with a sigh of silence.
“Rest. Arriving at the apartment I will wake you.”

Arriving at Belinda and Patrick's apartment are greeted by Boy and Riana. Riana tiptoed happy that Belinda had
revert.
“Bels! You're home yet? You must be happy to go back to your hometown.” Riana's greeting was not answered by Belinda and instead walked past her and entered the room.
Riana scrunched her forehead then looked at Patrick. “What is this, Pat? Did something happen to Belinda?”
“You'd better go to the room and meet him. Ask Belinda for a break and don't think of anything.” Reply Patrick.
“Eh? What do you mean?”
“Already, Riana. I'll explain everything later. But currently Belinda needs a friend.”
A little annoyed that Patrick forced her, Riana headed to the room and saw Belinda curled up in bed. Riana sat on the edge of the bed.
“Bels..” call Riana while rubbing Belinda's arms lying behind her. “You've got me, Bels. So never feel alone.”
Hearing Riana's sentence, Belinda turned her body to face Riana.
“Thank you, Ri.”
“What happened, Bels?”
“Dad and My Mom, Ri...” Belinda never had to say anything and could only cry.
Riana did not have the heart to ask further. He calmed Belinda more and asked to rest so that the condition of her body did not decrease.
Riana comes out of the room and meets Patrick as well Boy.
“How?” Ask Patrick.
“He's asleep. Pat, what exactly is going on? What happened to Belinda's parents?”
Patrick glanced at Boy before answering Riana's question.
“Tell me, Uncle. I'm ready to hear it.” Sahut Boy's. The six-year-old boy was an adult.
“Older Belinda is rumored to have died.”
“What?”
“And there is a possibility if this has something to do with Avicenna Group.” Patrick glanced back at Boy.
“Gosh! How can?” Riana couldn't believe it.
“You just calm down. Me and Boy will take care of it.”
“Don't they really target the Diamond Princess?” Riana closed her mouth. “But for what?”
Patrick glanced at Boy.
“This must have something to do with me ‘kan, Uncle?” sahut Boy's.
“All is still unclear, son. But Belinda is very sure if her parents are not dead.”
“Uncle, can come with me?” Ask Boy.
Patrick nodded. “You better rest too, Ri.”
“Alright, Pat.” Riana stepped into her room.

“What's up, Boy?” Patrick asked as soon as they were in Boy's room.
“Uncle, I will protect my Mama. I won't let him suffer anymore.”
Patrick smiles. “Uncle trust you, Son.”
“Uncle can help me, ‘kan?”
“Of course. I was assigned to take care of you and your mother.”
“Thank you, Uncle. From tomorrow, I'll try to get into the Avicenna Group's defense system. I'll steal their secret data.”
“Eh? Are you sure you can do it?”
“Iya. I won't let people hurt my mama again.” Boy said with a grin that Patrick had never seen before.
