Chaptre 41. Explanation by Patrick

"Me and Boy .. We are .. FBI agents."

"Huh?! Whahuh? Fbi agent?" Roy rounded his eyes.

Silent. No more response from Roy or Patrick. Only the sound of the keyboard being held slowly by Boy echoed in the room.

"How can you hide all this from me?" roy's murmuring can still be heard by Patrick.

Roy held onto his chest which was hurting. He chose to leave Boy's room.

Patrick, who saw Roy's strange behavior, immediately followed Roy's steps.

"Roy? What was? Are you all right?" Patrick looks anxious to see Roy's condition.

Roy forgot to take his medicine. Plus the problem of the disappearance of Belinda made her mind not calm.

"I'm fine. Can you explain what happened to you and Boy? From the beginning I felt your closeness to Boy and Belinda was very strange. You even changed the name of the Diamond to ... Aakkh!" Roy was still holding onto his chest which felt tight.

"Roy, don't push yourself! You better go back to your room."

"No. I can't calm down before Belinda's found."

Patrick sighed with the firmness of Roy's stance.

"I'll explain everything when you're okay. Did you bring your medicine?"

"The medicine is in my room."

"All right, you wait here. I'll take it. How many keys is your room combination?"

"1710." answered Roy.

"alright. You rest on the couch first."

After taking the medicine, Roy's condition began to improve. He and Patrick were still chatting lightly on the living room sofa.

Not long after, the door of Belinda's apartment opened and revealed the figure of Kenzo and Riana who had just returned to work. The expression on Riana's face looked at Roy coldly. It seems Kenzo has already told about the disappearance of Belinda to Riana.

"Explain what really happened? Why did Belinda disappear?" riana asked with her arms crossed.

"Ken, you..." Patrick glanced at Kenzo who was twitching his shoulders.

"Pats? Are you gonna shut up?" lick Riana.

"Ri, calm yourself first" said Patrick.

"Where can I calm down? My best friend disappeared and didn't know what happened to her. If something bad happens to her, how?"

Riana's words made the three men who were there staring not answer.

"Doctor Roy, what really happened? Aren't you with Belinda?"

"I ... Nor do you know what happened. When I picked him up at Jimmy's boutique, Belinda was gone." Roy said honestly.

"I'm pretty sure this must have something to do with your ex-fiancee. Right? Only he can do something like this. You should be able to find Belinda, Doctor Roy! I won't forgive you if something happens to my best friend!"

Riana immediately went to her room after spilling her irritation on Roy.

"Ri, please don't do this..." Patrick is trying to catch up with Riana. But it feels futile. Riana immediately closed the door of her room tightly.

"Alright, Julian. What Riana said was true. It's all my fault." Roy lamented.

"Don't blame yourself, Roy. There's no point in blaming each other." Lerai Patrick.

As the three men were dissolving in their own daydreams, Boy's voice broke the silence between them.

"Uncle, I found the location point." exclaimed Boy.

"really?" Roy, Patrick and Kenzo immediately come to Boy in his room.

Roy kissed Boy's forehead which is now asleep. He came out of Boy's room to get some fresh air. His heart was still not calm thinking about Belinda's fate.

"Julian? You haven't slept?" roy asked who saw Patrick on the balcony.

"Hm. You alone? Why get out of Boy's room? Is Boy asleep?"

"Yes, he's asleep."

Patrick sat on the chair on the balcony. Roy followed him.

"So, are you ready to explain everything?" ask Roy.

Patrick glanced at Roy at a glance then looked straight ahead.

"Maybe if Belinda and Boy hadn't come back here, none of this would have happened. Trouble came after they moved here. They live quietly in America with me guarding them from a distance."

"What does that mean?"

"WHAT?!"

"Even long before I knew if the baby was your son. I've been looking after Boy and his mom."

Roy listened carefully to everything Patrick said.

"Boy is a kid who is quite reliable in solving cases handled by the FBI. We often ask Boy for help with autopsies. From there, Conrad Webster, the head of the FBI raised Boy to be the youngest agent in the FBI."

"Boy was paired with me as his guide. And the first case he dealt with was ... The disappearance of Professor Gerald."

"Yes. I suspect it too. But, Zara is Gerald's grandfather's granddaughter. So, how could you possibly ensnare him in a criminal act?"

"really. She's the only family that Professor Gerald has. But it does not rule out the possibility if Zara also committed violence against her own grandfather. It could be on the line with a prison sentence, Roy. And also ... About Belinda's parents' disappearance. I suspect this has something to do with your family."

"My family is your family too, Julian!" exciting Roy.

"I knew. But everything has changed, Roy."

"alright. Who do you suspect?"

"Your father and mother, Roy."

"Omong empty! My father is your father too!" roy said he did not believe it.

"I'm not asking you to believe it. Didn't you just ask for my explanation?"

Roy gave a rough sigh. "Do you have any evidence?" ask Roy.

"We're investigating it."

"We? Don't tell me if Kenzo is, too..."

"Yes, Kenzo is also an FBI agent" Patrick said.

Roy nodded in understanding.

"You yourself? Tell me what happened to you, Roy? Are you sick? I'm investigating the drugs you're taking, and..."

Roy did not answer and chose to go to Boy's room to rest.
