Chapters 108. Kenzo's Return

Julian returned to his room after seeing the friendly scene between Lian and Roy. I don't know why his heart is beating. For years his heart was frozen and untouched. Now his heart began to warm because of the presence of Kartika. But his past memories made his heart waver.

Julian chose to lay down beside the body of his wife who had been in bed first. He looked at the severed Kartika with his body behind him.

Kartika is not yet asleep. She just shied away from her husband who lately behaved like never before. Julian, now her husband, is transformed into the previous Julian.

Kartika was aghast when she felt Julian's burly hand embrace her. Julian's head was thrust into the recess of Kartika's neck. But Kartika chose silence and pretended not to know.

Kartika smiled because Julian still cared about her. A little attention made him very happy. Until finally Kartika really closed his eyes and headed to dreamland. It feels like tonight is a night of beautiful dreams.

The next morning, Kartika awakens with Julian's faithful hand holding her. His heart is very happy. He turned his back and saw his man still closed.

Kartika stroked Julian's sturdy jaw.

"I love you Julian. Always loved. Don't ever leave me or change" Kartika said.

"I heard it, baby. Say it out loud."

"Julian? Are you awake?"

"Hm, I'm awake."

For a moment they stared at each other without a word. Without speaking again Julian pulled the nape of Kartika and made their bodies not spaced apart.

Julian did a very gentle pagutan until a few minutes passed.

"I want us to move out of here" Julian said.

"Eh?" Kartika.

"Don't think badly. I just want us to have our own privacy. Here, Roy is with Lian and their two sons are also Lian's parents. I also have a house inherited by Grandpa Gerald. I have to keep that house until Zara's out of custody."

Kartika. Of course he was happy because he only lived together with Julian. But on the other hand, he was also sad because he had to live far away from Nathan.

"Are you sad that you can't see Nathan every day?" Julian's question seemed to know the heart of Kartika.

Kartika did not answer and just looked at Julian grudgingly.

"You can meet him whenever you want. Even on vacation we'll ask Roy and Lian for permission to take Nathan to our house. How's it?"

After years of living in a land of people, Kenzo and his small family return to the home country of Riana, Kenzo's wife. Actually their return to Indonesia because of the whining of their beautiful daughter who had missed her little friend.

"Dad, did Daddy call Uncle Roy? I can't wait to meet Boy." Again Natasha, the daughter of Kenzo and Riana whine to meet Boy soon.

During their stay abroad, Boy and Natasha were very close and they were friendly. Riana's condition that does not allow to get pregnant makes Kenzo finally choose a shortcut by cloning using Boy's body. The sophistication of technology developed by Noel is actually useful for the lives of others.

"Daddy didn't call anyone, son. Don't you want to surprise Boy?"

"Ah, so. Alright, Dad. Boy's birthday is tomorrow anyway. It's gonna be a nice surprise for Boy." Natasha can't wait for tomorrow.

Riana looked at Kenzo questioningly.

"Just calm down, baby. I've prepared a place to live for us." Kenzo embraced Riana's shoulder in love.

Today is Boy's 12th birthday. Lian prepared a small party to celebrate the birthday of her eldest son.

"Send some of your schoolmates, son," said Lian.

The night when everyone had gathered, Boy turned a blind eye to a request before blowing out his birthday candle.

"What's your request, Boy? Are you asking me to come?" Natasha's distinctive voice made everyone present turn their heads towards her.

Boy scrunched his forehead. "Natasha?"

Natasha smile. "Yes, Boy. It's me!" He ran up to Boy and hugged him.

"I miss you, Boy," Natasha said.

Lian who saw her eldest son being hugged by a girl his age also felt jealous.

"Sorry we came without notice." Kenzo's voice makes their attention now turns back to Kenzo and Riana who entered after their daughter.

"Riana!" Lian exclaimed happily. They hugged.

"It's been a long time!" said Lian.

"Yes. For years we have not met. How are you?"

"Hey, Ri. I should have asked that." Then they both laughed.

The atmosphere of dinner was warm with the arrival of three guests at the Avicenna family home. A nostalgic conversation was created between them.

After dinner, Natasha takes Boy around Avicenna's mansion.

"You live in a very magnificent palace, Boy. I envy you."

"This isn't my house, this is my Papa's house."

"But you'll inherit it someday. I want to see your room, take me there!"

"Yes, let's be okay."

The two of them went upstairs and headed to Boy's room. Julian noticed the behavior of the two children. There was something strange about Natasha's attitude.

"Julian, what's wrong? Everyone is waiting in the family room. Let's join in, "take Kartika by grabbing Julian's arm.

Julian nodded and followed Kartika's steps.

Arriving at the family room, Roy and Kenzo were having a conversation. Same with Lian and Riana.

Julian sat down with Kartika and watched everyone.

"Oh, Pat, sorry." Kenzo stops his chat with Roy.

"I'm sorry if I interrupted your conversation, but. This is about ... your daughter, Natasha," Julian opened in a firm but slow voice.

Kenzo and Riana looked at each other.

"What's wrong with our daughter?" ask Riana.

"I'm sorry if I have to say this, but .. I feel like there's something weird about your daughter. Noel's previous experiments had never cloned from a male body to a female body. I mean I'm afraid if there's something wrong with this. Back when we cloned Belinda, everything looked the same, but her nature and actions were very easy to manage because she was still an artificial man. Then your children..."

Everyone listened to what Julian was going to say.

"You didn't ask for my opinion first either. I knew it was bad, but I was still your friend, Ken. I still care about you even if I'm a bad person to my own family" Julian lamented.

Riana looked silent. He does feel that Natasha is very different from children her age even though her body can indeed grow because it follows the growth of the age of the Boy's body.

"Then what should we do, Pat?" ask Kenzo.
