Chapters 120. Nathan's Heart Voice

Nathan, who was passing in front of his parents' second room, saw his brother, Boy, being spoiled on his mother's lap. He who wanted to go in and say good night to Roy and Lian became reluctant.

There was a bit of jealousy in Nathan's heart because Lian always paid attention to Boy. She knew her real mother loved her too.

Nathan decides to go back to his room and lay his body on the bed. Tonight he did not greet his parents directly but in a thread of prayer.

"Good night Mama. Good night Papa. I love you guys" Nathan said, closing his eyes.

Meanwhile, Boy who had felt enough to let go of the longing for his father and mother, he said goodbye to return to his own room.

"Good night, Pa, Ma."

"Good night, son. Sleep well," Lian replied.

Boy nodded then closed the room door.

"It doesn't feel like he's an adult, Mom. We'll take it off to be owned by someone else" Lian said.

"Are our children not just God's care? One day they will leave us, and vice versa. You don't get too carried away with Boy and Natasha's engagement."

"Yes, Mum."

"Oh yeah, why isn't Nathan here yet? Doesn't he usually come to visit us before going to bed?"

"Come, Mas. Maybe Nathan was exhausted from his school activities. I think she has a different talent than her sister."

"We let them choose what they want to do in the future. Don't push it too much."

Lian nodded.

"We should sleep. Aren't you going back tomorrow to prepare for Boy's engagement party?"

Lian slid her body beside Roy.

"I love you too, baby," Roy replies and then kisses Lian's head.

That morning, Nathan felt uninspired to receive lessons at his school. This morning he only had breakfast accompanied by his grandmother, Lusi. Because everyone has done their own activities. Roy who had to meet clients, Lian who was busy taking care of the engagement party, then Boy who also went straight to his laboratory.

Nathan feels his life is empty because everyone is always busy. Lucky the day passed so quickly. Nathan came out of the school building and walked in with shaky steps. He told the driver to return home because he would take a public vehicle.

His shudder that did not look around made him collide with someone who was passing in opposite directions with him. A rowdy voice emerged from the lips of a girl who now cursed Nathan for making the books he held fall to the ground.

"While Nathan was still silent and did not say a word.

"Hey, are you deaf?!" The girl's getting on the black.

"I'm not deaf, Miss. I'm sorry." Nathan bowed a little and then put his foot back on.

"Basic doesn't know himself! It's wrong to just play away!" The girl was about to leave but suddenly she remembered something. He turned around and chased Nathan.

"Hey, wait!" The girl ran a little to match Nathan's steps.

"Wait!" The girl stretched out her arms and made Nathan's steps stop.

"Well, it's true. You're Nathaniel, aren't you? You're Brother Boy's sister!" exclaim that girl.

Nathan knitted his eyebrows together.

"I'm Ivanna. I'm Kak Fajri's sister, Kak Boy's friend." The girl extended her hand.

"Oh, are you Fajri's sister? Then, what do you want?"

"Ish, you! What do you do by walking alone without looking around? Isn't your sister getting engaged in two days?"

"Then what's your business? Just go there! If you want me to apologize to you again, then I will!"

"God! You're such a bitch! It turns out that the rumors are true. All those guys in the Avicenna family are shitty!" sulcan Ivanna then left Nathan.

Nathan shook his head after Ivanna's departure. "Based on a weird girl!"

Nathan continued his journey. I don't know when he will keep going. The distance to his house is quite far if it must be traveled on foot.

Suddenly a car stopped in front of Nathan. A little girl got out of the car.

"Sister Nathan!" exclaim that girl.

"What's brother doing here?" ask Shelo.

"I'm on foot, ha ha." Nathan forced his laughter.

"I know my sister well. Is something going on?" tanya Shelo probed.

"Nothing" elak Nathan and will step back.

Shelo immediately blocks Nathan's arm. The little girl understood her cousin very well.

"Come with me, brother!" Shelo pulls Nathan's hand and asks him to get in the car.

"You're! A young child has dared to rule me!" nathan's murmur got a sweet smile from the little girl sitting next to him.

"Sir, we're going to the city park!" shelo's orders to the driver.

"Why are we going to the city park?" ask Nathan.

"There's a really good shaved ice shop there. I want to eat that on this hot day." Again Shelo commented on his smile.

Nathan just shook his head slowly with his little brother's behavior.

Arriving at the city park, the two of them got out of the car and headed to the shaved ice shop that Shelo was referring to.

"Sit, Brother!" shelo's Order.

Nathan saw the atmosphere around the shop that was quite beautiful and the breeze that hit his face.

"You come here often?" ask Nathan.

"Not really. Bang, two servings shaved ice!" shelo said to the shaved iceman's brother.

"Ready, Miss!" replied the brother, ice.

"You're a kid don't like snacks outside. Food outside is not good for your growth" Nathan advises.

"Ish, this brother. I brought you here to comfort you. I know your heart is not okay" said Shelo.

Nathan flinched with Shelo's statement. His heart was troubled because everyone seemed to be moving away from him.

"I'm used to it myself. You don't have to comfort me. I lived my childhood in an orphanage. I used to face silence" Nathan said.

"Yeah!" Shelo prepares to feed a spoonful of shaved ice into Nathan's mouth.

With hesitation Nathan opened his mouth and accepted a bribe from Shelo.

"Whatever heat our heart may be, we must keep it cool" Shelo said with a beautiful smile.

Nathan was slightly amused by the presence of his cousin's sister.

"Oh yes, Brother. Soon my ninth birthday, you must prepare a special gift for me."

Nathan hit his temple slowly. "I forgot! But I can't give you a good gift. You know I'm still a schoolboy, I don't have my own money."

Shelo scowled at Nathan's words. But it turns out that all of Shelo's behavior makes Nathan laugh out loud.

"Sister Nathan! Why even laugh?" Shelo pursed his lips.

"Thank you, yeah. Thank you for comforting me."

Shelo was silent for a moment.

"Whatever you're dealing with, never feel alone. If you feel like everyone has special attention on Kak Boy, it's just a big brother feeling. Brother Boy will get engaged, of course everyone is busy. Even my mom and dad are busy."

"I understand. You're a kid but why is your attitude so mature?" Nathan rattled Shelo's hair slowly.

"It's late in the afternoon, we should go home" Nathan asked.

Shelo. "Sister has me. So never feel alone."

"Yes, thank you little brother," exasperated Nathan with Shelo's mature demeanor.
