Chaptre 45. News of Gerald's Death

Kenzo and Boy are still trying to track down Eric Kim by hacking into his phone number. Not to forget Patrick also asked for help Danial, the police chief to spread photos of Eric's face in several public places.

Somehow Roy's feelings say that Eric is planning to flee abroad. So some people trust him he placed in public places such as stations, terminals and airports.

Once it arrived at the place indicated by Eric, it was a house that had been abandoned by its inhabitants. The police and Patrick wandered all over the place and found no poets there.

Roy came in and opened the door to the room there. And finally he managed to find Belinda sitting on the floor with an empty view.

Roy immediately grabbed Belinda's body and took her away from there.

"How, Ri? Has there been any change?" ask Roy.

"Not yet, doctor Roy. Belinda is still tight-lipped and doesn't want to meet anyone. It seems like he's been through a deep trauma."

Roy breathed a rough sigh. "What really happened in that house? I couldn't find anything because Belinda was still mumbling." Roy muttered.

Roy's phone rings. A call from Ben.

"Hello, Ben. What's up?"

"Sir, try to turn on the television."

"What's? A television? What's the matter?"

"Just turn it on, sir!" ben's orders.

"All right." Roy ended the call.

Roy immediately asks Riana where the TV remote is. Riana took it and handed it to Roy.

"What's up, Doctor Roy?" ask Riana.

"I don't know either. Ben asked me to watch television."

As soon as the television turned on, it was seen that the television station was reporting about the death of a professor from Avicenna University, Gerald Rayyan.

Roy and Riana closed their mouths in disbelief. Roy was also very surprised to hear this news. He immediately said goodbye to Riana and Boy.

Roy quickly drove his car to Avicenna hospital. I forgot to call Patrick.

"Hello, Jul. Have you seen the news today?"

"Already, Roy. It's me at the funeral."

"What's? A funeral?"

"All right." Roy ended the call.

"Julian.." said Roy.

"Have you come?"

Roy nodded. "How can a funeral be performed without an autopsy?"

"Eitherway. It was the wish of Professor Gerald's family." replied Patrick.

"Gerald's Grandpa's family is just Zara. Did Zara ask to be buried?"

Patrick nodded.

"Don't you feel like something's weird?"

"Of course there is. But let. We'll see what Zara's reaction will be when the police and FBI investigation ends."

"You have to investigate this case completely, Jul. I'm sure something's wrong here."

"I know, Roy. You just calm down. You better meet your family." said Patrick, pointing at Dandy and Donald with his chin.

Roy smiled faintly. "They're your family too, Julian." Roy shook his head slowly then walked over to his father and grandfather who were in the front row.

As for Zara, she rested on her grandfather's grave with tears with Helena who continued to calm him.

"It's good acting, Zara. You kidnapped Belinda and now you've eliminated Grandpa Gerald. You have to take the payback." Roy's words that he can only express in his heart.

Roy greets his father and grandfather in turn.

"Roy, are you coming, son?" donald.

"Yes, Cake. I saw it on television. News about Grandpa Gerald's death."

Roy arrives at his apartment and settles down after attending Gerald's funeral. He massaged his temple slowly. He had just calmed down because Belinda had been found. But now his heart is restless again because of the death of Gerald who impressed suddenly after disappearing for one year.

"I have to figure out a way for Grandpa Gerald's body to be at the autopsy" Roy murmured.

Roy decided to clean up first before continuing his work. It didn't take long for Roy because he felt he was being chased by time.

Then Roy heads to his study and checks some files on his notebook. Just a moment to open the file, suddenly his phone rang. A call from Riana.

"Hello, Ri. What's up?"

"Doctor, come here soon!" riana said in a panic.

"What's wrong?"

"Reprize, Doctor..."

"What's wrong with Belinda?"

"Doctor come here quickly!" Riana disconnected the phone unilaterally.

Roy rubbed his face. "What else is this?"

Roy hurriedly exited his room and headed to Belinda's room.

Roy pressed the bell as he arrived in front of Belinda's apartment.

"Doctor Roy!!" exclaim Riana.

"What's up, Ri? Why do you look so panicked?"

"Doctor, I'm really sorry. I had to inject Belinda with a sedative. He kept screaming and I didn't know what to do."

Roy listened to Riana's explanation carefully. He frowned after hearing that Belinda was hysterical at the news of Gerald's death.

"He kept shouting, they killed him, they killed him!" riana clearly demonstrated the sentence Belinda said.

Roy was silent and stunned. His brain was forced to work harder.

"Don't Belinda find out about Grandpa Gerald's cause of death. That's why he's in shock like this." murmured Roy.
