CH. 17 – Start Your Trip!

After exiting the room, Liu Chang then found Feng San and Gang Wei who were preparing a dimensional door. Both of them quickly recited several hand spells before being replaced with new ones.

Liu Chang immediately approached the two to see more clearly which direction the door was headed.

“Don't get too close, Chang'er. The soul energy here is too great for you, you can't help it.” Gang Wei immediately gave a hand gesture when he saw that Liu Chang was only a few meters away from him.

A few weeks ago Liu Chang's strength was only at the 3rd Early Swordsman but today after training hard enough Liu Chang managed to raise his practice two levels to the 5th Early Swordsman.

Gang Wei and Feng San who heard Liu Chang mutter could only faintly smile, they knew very well that Liu Chang was training so hard lately.

Feng San then tasted the meat dishes on the left side plate while Gang Wei tasted the salad-like dishes arranged in such a way and then poured the sauce on the right plate.

“I ate ... this–” Feng San stared in disbelief at the direction of the cuisine, “Cita taste of the cuisine as delicious as this, the taste of the real cuisine!”

Liu Chang smiled with satisfaction at Feng San's expression, as Feng San's curiosity grew, Liu Chang then explained the name of the dish and the way it was made.

“The name of this dish is Beef Burguignon, a type of beef cuisine but more soft-textured. To add to its distinctive and sumptuous flavor, I boiled it with red wine that had been fermented with a special barrel.

In addition, the ingredients that I use also add to the taste, consisting of garlic, onions, mushrooms and various fresh spices such as Rosemary, cinnamon, and others, and lemongrass to add a special fragrance of cuisine ..”

Furthermore Gang Wei who was taking the dishes on the right plate also had an expression not far from Feng San, Gang Wei even licked the fork in his hand because of the delicious taste of the sauce in the cuisine.

Gang Wei opened his eyes as Liu Chang and Feng San looked at him in wonder as they looked so savored. After escaping from his shock, Gang Wei then asked Liu Chang the name of this cuisine especially the ingredients that made it so delicious.

Liu Chang nodded slowly and began to explain about this cuisine from its origin first, “The name is Ratatouille, Ratatouille was once only served and enjoyed by poor farmers.

But because the fame about the taste is getting higher, this cuisine then goes to large restaurants in urban areas.

The ingredients are actually quite simple consisting of, courgette or zucchini (a type of cucumber), tomato, garlic, red chili, and green chili but what makes all of that so delicious is this..”

Liu Chang pointed at the reddish-colored sauce beside the cooking pan. “I make it from some fragrant spices and also alluring flavor.”

Just like Feng San before, Gang Wei only nodded slowly without the slightest hint of understanding what Liu Chang was explaining. Yang Gang Wei knew the taste of the cuisine he had eaten earlier could not match Ratatouille's taste.

After these various explanations, Liu Chang then went to eat dishes that had a considerable amount of it. Liu Chang made a large portion for ten people but if eaten together with Gang Wei and Feng San ten portions of the cuisine was far from enough.

“Truly delicious cuisine! When we regroup like this, I want to eat it again.” Gang Wei greeted Liu Chang who had been standing at the dimensional door.

“It's definitely. I hope this dimension will still have a friendly taste .. feel free to meet me later!” Liu Chang then inspiredly embraced Gang Wei who had accompanied him during his time here.

The shadow of his previous training with Gang Wei flashed through Liu Chang's mind, Gang Wei also experienced that considering his attitude towards Liu Chang in the early days of his arrival was quite cold and made him feel guilty.

Both of them walked slowly with swords sheathed at the waist towards the dimensional door. Gang Wei then made a hand spell to open the dimensional door leading to the earth. While Liu Chang stared at this dimension once more before leaving, his face seemed to show satisfaction.

After quite a long wait, Gang Wei told the bottom of the dimensional door was ready for use. Liu Chang hurriedly entered into it as his teleportation was about to begin.
