Legend of the Dragon God

Legend of the Dragon God
Ch. 49 – Liko Valley II.

"Damn it if this many silhouettes were, who would be able to live in a place like this?"

Liu Chang faced a demon again, this time it was the fifth time he had faced a demon like this. The first one was a wolf demon as he turned towards the left the first time.

And the next demon was an ape to the fourth but this time the demon he faced was a little different. Liu felt that this demon before him was a thousand-year-old demon or perhaps a demon king.

"The skin is so hard .. It feels like cutting a diamond!!" Liu Chang snorted in annoyance, fifty times had he slashed the body of this lion-shaped demon, but the effects on his body were only slight or nonexistent at all.

An unexpected thing happened and happened to Liu Chang next, the lion demon suddenly disappeared and appeared behind Liu Chang's blind spot.

"What!!!

Liu Chang cursed inwardly. How such a large body moves so quickly, it even seems to disappear if he sees it.

As Liu Chang tried to turn his body around, the demon moved back in. Liu Chang was aghast, he was so surprised that he could not avoid the blow that was cast by the lion demon.

"BUUUMMIM!!!

Liu's body was hit by the claw and punch of the demon's leg, fortunately he had held it back with several layers of Qi so that the wound was not too severe.

But the attack did not match Liu Chang's expectations, fresh blood still dripping on the edge of his lips and forehead, what an unacceptable force of reason, he thought.

"This smile, really makes me sick!!" Liu Chang wiped the blood on his lips, all the ways he had done to defeat this lion demon but because his strength was beyond reason, all he could do right now was dodge and continue jumping from tree to tree.

According to Liu Chang's rough calculations, he had fought with this demon for an hour, and has unleashed more than a hundred moves ranging from the most basic to the blows of inner energy but still the body of the demon before him is not flinching in the slightest.

After thinking long enough, Liu Chang finally chose to run and move from tree to tree to avoid chasing the lion demon.

Naturally If relying on the resilience of the body, Liu Chang would first fall down compared to this demon but when it came to intelligence he was confident that he would be able to escape from a disadvantageous fight like this.

"It may be safe, but .. I can't let my guard down" Liu Chang again increased his running speed. Liu Chang realized one thing from his running it seemed like his running speed had increased with time since frequently using body lightening science.

After playing the chase with the demon for more than twenty minutes, Liu Chang began to see a small settlement, precisely like a hut in the middle of the forest and around the resource garden.

Liu Chang furrowed his forehead, he was not sure what he was looking at right now was a hut, it could have been an illusion like the one Dong Enlai had done to her back then but the curiosity made her unable to stop her steps approaching the hut.

After being close enough a few meters away from his courtyard, Liu Chang lowered his running speed and walked slower, just in case there might be something more dangerous than the lion demon in the hut.

"Come in!! Get inside the hut in front of you!!"

Liu Chang wondered in his mind he had heard the same telepathic voice again, there was no way he would obey the wish of the voice again, after thinking for quite a while and because the voice kept ordering the same thing Liu Chang finally decided to follow that order while preparing the Lightning God Sword behind his clothes.

At first Liu Chang thought he was being framed but the next incident finally managed to surprise him.

"Who are you?!"

Liu Chang unsheathed his sword towards the man in front of him at this moment. Although the man's condition looked drunk but did not make Liu Chang lower his guard, he had already seen so many warriors under such circumstances able to fight well in the Northern Jade Empire.

"Young .. It's me, who speaks telepathically and gives you the way to get here," the man began to speak up after a long time of standing.

Liu Chang snorted softly, if this fellow did not upset him it might just be possible that he could be more friendly to him. Just imagine passing through a path filled with various kinds of dangerous demons and the one that attacked was a demon as strong as a demon king, an ordinary swordsman might have died by now.

"Can it be a little polite, your swearing doesn't match the name you have!" the man began to take a serious attitude, even this time he discussed the matter of name as well with Liu Chang.

Liu Chang raised his eyebrows, what was his current adviser whereas just a moment ago he had just wanted to harm him.

"Alright, I understand your feelings .. let's go in to talk more!!" finally the drunk man invited Liu Chang into his hut, behind his attitude Liu Chang could feel that the man was appreciative enough.

Feeling that he had no other choice, Liu Chang eventually followed the man's steps, naturally because his wounds needed to rest longer to recover quickly.

The situation inside the hut was like a hut in general, Liu Chang did not see anything strange inside it nor anything that could reflect the science of illusion.

"You're still suspicious, sit down!!" the drunk man finally let Liu Chang sit down, coincidentally he had more seats in his old hut.

"Well, I hope there's no hidden sword."

"Hahaha, you're pretty funny kid. Introduce what your name is!!"

After talking for a long time and introducing his name, finally Liu Chang was quite used to his slightly slurred and often joking style of speech, according to him this attitude was not much different from Gang Wei when drunk.

But the thing that made Liu Chang surprised was his testimony that said that since Liu Chang fought with Dong Enlai on the edge of the ravine, he had, it turned out that he had already noticed Liu Chang from such a distance calmly without any intention of helping him in the slightest.

"Then why didn't you help me fight the black stream back then?" Liu Chang raised his eyebrows, he felt astonished by this man's testimony.

"For what? the world needs balance. Helping to annihilate one of them would cause the other to be affected."

The drunken man replied casually, with his style of speaking with hiccups he never stopped chugging the wine jar in his hand.

"Oh yeah, you're right. There was no reason you could help me at that time."

Liu Chang muttered softly, indeed when it fell down to this abyss was his own carelessness for not realizing the illusion used on that city called Jing Quo.

"I want to ask, you know a town called Jing Quo?"

Liu Chang asked suddenly, he remembered a city that he thought was very strange. The state of the city that is quite alive makes it not suspect the city is just an illusion.

"Jing Quo?! You found a town by that name? Tell me quickly!!"

"Looks like you're so interested .. well, I'll tell you."
