Ch. 46 – Red Eagle Moves II.

"It seems like it's gone, the chances of them coming back here are huge. I have to be careful." Liu Chang gazed around him, as far as eyes could see he could not find the remnants of the Red Eagle group.

Liu Chang continued on his way again, this time feeling he had to use his body lightening science to more quickly find the settlement, the goods of the time there could find the map, he thought.

A map is one of the most important items for a swordsman, usually when he does not know this direction, it will be an invaluable helper.

Liu Chang again sped up his pace, this kind of forest area that he should have avoided the most, the demon did not know the time when attacking therefore Liu Chang did not want to take the risk by slowing down the science of lightening his body.

Just a few minutes Liu Chang ran, he saw the entrance of a city vaguely about 1 kilometer after coming out of the forest.

"Ah, very lucky..," She excitedly smiled at the tip of her lips. "It looks like it's a city."

Liu Chang ran back, a short while later he arrived at the entrance of the city. A few guards approached Liu Chang, because it just so happened that right now he only wanted to enter the city, there was no one else behind Liu Chang.

"Young man, are you a swordsman?" the older men asked early.

"True, I've just traveled a long way. Looking for an inn." Liu Chang replied with a faint smile, trying to be familiar with the guards before him.

The guard saw no sign of Liu Chang lying, he then told Liu Chang to introduce his identity. According to his explanation, lately there has been frequent falsification of identity by the warriors of the black school, therefore everyone is obliged to inform his identity.

Because it happens to be a city on the border of Dorrego State and TakChi State, that's why the inspection of entering this city is so tight.

"If anything puts you in danger, report it to us immediately, son!" the old man among the guards again spoke to Liu Chang, as far as it seemed only he was the one who spoke to Liu Chang the most, it seemed like his other friends were just checking the newcomers' belongings.

Liu Chang then continued to enter the city. According to the guard, the name of this city is Jing Quo, so named because this city was once saved by a ruler of the country from a robber attack.

In his honor, the inhabitants named the city after him.

"It's pretty good, an inn with a little restaurant underneath." Liu Chang looked at the two-storey building before him, walking a few minutes only this building which he found was quite unique.

When entering it there are several tables that have been filled, it looks like, beside the right window was a group of people wearing clothes similar to the group Liu Chang had just finished off a few hours ago.

The moment the two gazes of Liu Chang and the group of people met. Some of the people from the group immediately broke out in cold sweat, while the rest pulled weapons on their waists.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant became hot, some of the residents who were not warriors immediately ran to the top floor or out of the restaurant, not least the waiters and cashier guards.

"We meet again .. It's strange to see you eat quietly without robbing, go ahead!" challenge Liu Chang, he took out the Semi Heirloom Sword nicknamed Eagle Claw Sword from the sword shell at his waist.

A few seconds later the place actually became the second battleground for Liu Chang and the remnants of the Red Eagle group that managed to escape, without Liu Chang realizing the fight was increasingly infiltrated by many people.

The number on the enemy side grew even more over time, making Liu Chang slightly pushed out due to the narrow space inside the restaurant.

"How is it possible?! Am I being framed?" Liu Chang wondered inwardly, as far as it appeared back then the group before him numbered five people while inside the restaurant, but now the number was close to twenty, completely making the mind hard inward.

"Keep attacking him, if we outnumber more ..we win!" one of the leaders among them.

Liu Chang smiled slightly, although their numbers were increasing, but the ones who had arrived were only the early swordsmen and a few red-core medium warriors, of course if only that Liu Chang would easily deal with it.

"Third move, endless trouble!!"

Liu Chang unleashed his Divine Sword Arts skill, endless difficulty was perfect for suppressing attacks from many directions, thus giving it more of an advantage when besieged.

Sure enough, moments later from their group, some people began to fall holding their stomachs that were hit by a deep thump. Liu Chang constantly attacked them until the fight took tens of minutes.

Looking at Liu Chang who could change his fighting style, making the people of the group startle, they did not expect the young man they were trapping to have above average fighting abilities

"Hurry up call the boss!!"

As soon as the order was uttered by someone, some people began to whistle loudly beeping like trumpets. Liu wondered in his mind, could it be the reinforcements they were calling?

The whistle sounded loud enough for a few seconds as if to tell that the situation here was quite dangerous, not long after that whistling stopped, presenting two people dressed in all-black who were standing on the roof staring coldly at Liu Chang.

"That has slaughtered the Red Eagle group in Dorre City, that young man?"

"Yes, no more wrong. His royals' clothes and pants, that's him."

"This is your payment. Thanks for the illusion, go!"

After quite a short conversation on the enemy side, Liu Chang saw the people who had attacked him just now move away and let the person on the roof earlier dart towards him.

"Yuuush!"

Very quickly as a strong wind shot towards Liu Chang, thankfully he avoided it after feeling the danger.

The next thing that was no less surprising was the change of urban land and buildings into trees like a forest, even the restaurant Liu Chang entered was now a ravine.

"What's? How's that possible?!" Liu Chang thought to himself, he felt that the real danger was not the illusion that attacked him but this person before him was more dangerous than he thought now.

The man before Liu Chang chuckled at the confusion emanating from the look on Liu Chang's face.

"You surprised? Wasn't it fun, trapping someone using illusory knowledge.," so excited he laughed in front of Liu Chang. "Even forests like this can be changed like the atmosphere of the city, kehhehehe" he continued.

Hearing such a thing, Liu Chang frowned even more, he was not sure the illusionary science could go to the extent of changing the natural atmosphere into an urban one. Even if it was possible, how did those people and the city guards speak to him fluently?

"Kehhehehe, you're getting surprised apparently. Oh, your face looks angry." the man again let out his trademark laugh. "Could it be because I haven't introduced myself yet? Hm .. it's possible."

Liu Chang grew increasingly furious at the behavior of this old man before him, instead of chatting as usual he even chuckled and laughed indistinctly.

"Just tell me your name, these pleasantries don't need to be too long!!" so infuriated by Liu Chang, he accidentally released a murderous aura that was accumulated due to killing several Red Eagle people.

"Oh, you're heating up young man. If you want to hear it alright, you will definitely be surprised .. be prepared, my name is Dong Enlai!!"
