Not long after running, Liu Chang and Chiriyu finally arrived where the smells of delicious cuisine appeared. A two-storey restaurant, bearing silver letters to write the name of the Black Particle restaurant in front of the building.
“Chiriyu, let's go in!”
“Yes, Sister. I smell very good from this restaurant.”
After deciding to fill the stomach here, Liu Chang and Chiriyu walked into the restaurant called the Black Particle.
The atmosphere visible from the Black Particle restaurant was not too crowded, upon entering it Liu Chang only found twenty tables provided on the first floor. While the second floor has ten tables with large sizes.
Liu Chang chose to enter the second floor because the atmosphere was quite noisy on the first floor because it was filled with fishermen or other ordinary residents, the topics they talked about were usually related to daily activities.
“To enter the second floor, Young Master must pay two pieces of silver,” said a servant girl, she is in charge of guarding the cashier table and receptionist.
“I don't have smaller money, can use this only.”
Liu Chang handed him a piece of gold instead. Upon receiving Liu Chang's payment a face of shock appeared on the servant girl's face. He hurriedly called his manager because he thought Liu Chang was an important person from the state government.
Not waiting for long, a half-century-old man came towards Liu Chang half-runningly. He welcomed Liu Chang so kindly, thinking that Liu Chang might be a guest to be privileged.
After arriving at the second floor Liu Chang chose a table that was quite far from the entrance, he chose a table that was near the window.
“Kakak, why did their treatment of us earlier was quite strange?” After arriving at his desk, Chiriyu finally asked what had stuck in his mind since then.
“In the human world, money is often more respected than identity.” Liu Chang stroked Chiriyu's head gently. Indeed, today money is something that humans value most compared to identity, that's when an unwritten law arises that states that the existence of money will bring honor.
A servant girl approached Liu Chang and Chiriyu's table not long after the two sat down.
“Young Master, the money you give has more amount. You want to use it to order something from this money remaining?” asked a servant girl, she acted and spoke to Liu Chang very carefully.
Liu Chang looked around him, he saw people ordering dishes that were quite tasty and had large portions.
“What here has famous cuisine?”
“Yes, no. We have spicy Blue Fin Tuna cuisine and have a price per gram of 2 bronze pieces,” replied the servant girl later.
Liu Chang decided to order the famous menu after seeing the reaction of Chiriyu who was also interested. Finally Liu Chang ordered the Blue Fin Tuna meat which weighed ten Kilograms.
The people around Liu Chang and Chiriyu's table who heard their talk were shocked by the amount Liu Chang ordered. Weighing ten Kilograms, the Blue Fin Tuna would have cost tens of pieces of silver.
After waiting for fifteen minutes, the smell of the cuisine that was both a favorite as well as the famous cuisine in the Black Particles arrived at Liu Chang's table. All eyes immediately turned to Liu Chang and Chiriyu's table upon realizing the two were ordering the most expensive dishes.
“Please enjoy Young Master, we also give you two best quality wine jars as a bonus from this purchase.” the servant girl poured the jar containing the best quality wine into the big glass to Liu Chang's side.
A few minutes after starting to eat, Liu Chang stopped eating as he noticed all the glances towards the window.
“Kakak, what's up? Why people stand up from the table and look to the window.” Chiriyu began to wonder to Liu Chang about this simultaneous occurrence.
“It looks like something caught their attention down there. I'll see it first.” Liu Chang stood up from his seat and went to one of the large windows that was in the right corner.
It was then that Liu Chang heard the rumors of people saying that this time someone else had died after being hit by a terrible plague. From what Liu Chang had seen, this did not seem to be the first time the residents here had seen someone die from the plague.
“Excuse me, Senior. You know what these guys are talking about?" Liu Chang stopped someone passing in front of him.
“Ah, the. They were talking about a plague called Hun that appeared not long ago.” After answering Liu Chang's question, the man immediately left from before Liu Chang.
Liu Chang returned to his desk, he thought hard from earlier. What do those people mean by Hun?
“What's up, Brother? You don't look good.” Chiriyu saw Liu Chang's expression was bad enough after returning to the table they finally asked out of curiosity.
Liu Chang shook his head slowly, then brought Chiriyu out of the Black Particle restaurant. Chiriyu who followed Liu Chang's orders finally could only wonder within her inner being.
After walking for a while and being in a fairly quiet place Liu Chang finally stopped. He stared at Chiriyu for a while before finally telling her to enter the seal paper.
“Why should I enter at this time, Brother?”
“For your safety, Chiriyu. Looks like the state of the city is pretty bad, you have to get in to avoid what they're talking about. While Brother will look for information about this outbreak named Hun. Hurry up!”
After making sure Chiriyu has been in a safe place. Liu Chang immediately activated his long-range hearing to eavesdrop on the conversation of the people from the surroundings.
Minutes after hearing the conversation of the people passing by around him, Liu Chang finally learned some pretty important information regarding the location and information related to the Hun plague that was happening around this location.
According to what Liu Chang heard from the people earlier, he was currently in a city called Xian Qi which was within the territory of a country called Werbei. Its location was in the northwest of the Jade Plain Continent.
As for the Hun plague that plagued his mind, Liu Chang only obtained information that only explained the cause of death and the symptoms that had arisen after this Hun outbreak. But the cause of this outbreak, the information is currently gray.
“Once it seems, the Hun plague is the cause that makes this city avoided by immigrants. It seems like the collection of information I got was far from enough. I have to find him back.”
