CH. 18 – Arrived At Jian Yi.

After successfully entering inside, Liu Chang discovered something amazing to him. Since this was the first time Liu Chang had entered into the dimensional door, Liu Chang was amazed by the beauty of the starry night sky that was here.

Liu Chang felt that the stars were close enough as if he could touch, but Liu Chang also did not really touch the set of stars knowing the risks.

Gang Wei had previously warned that something inside the door should not be touched in the slightest even though it was so shocking to Liu Chang.

“You and Master made this door destination to where?” Liu Chang asked so after traveling inside the dimensional door did not arrive.

“I won't tell you, but surely the size offsets the big city ..” Gang Wei chuckled lightly at Liu Chang's expression which was unhappy with his words.

Liu Chang was obviously not happy because only he did not know the purpose of this door, so his mind just kept guessing. Even so Liu Chang was hoping to get out in San Yie City so that he could see the conditions after the demon attack back then.

After a few minutes of walking the dimensional door emitted a white light and the echoing chirp of birds. Gang Wei said that it was the end of this door because the end did have a different light.

After successfully exiting, Gang Wei then made a hand spell and changed the shape of the dimensional door into a medal. Gang Wei divided the medal into two parts, and gave one to Liu Chang just in case.

Gang Wei advised that if anything bad happened Liu Chang could save himself to the Dimension of Death to recuperate. With so difficult whatever the conditions of their fight later, there is still hope to win because the possibility of recuperating is so great.

After quite a while of silence here, Liu Chang only realized that they were thrown out into the forest. But Gang Wei said the original destination was near a city but that if it came out in a place like this it meant that there was a shift of several kilometers from the original destination.

Liu Chang nodded softly at Gang Wei's explanation, even though he was out inside in the forest like this, Liu Chang was not worried considering the strength of Gang Wei and himself being able to kill even a hundred-year-old Demon.

After looking up at the tree and making sure that a few kilometers from here was the city, Liu Chang and Gang Wei proceeded to the city without running using body lightening science.

After walking for quite a while, Liu Chang could see a city from 2 Km away from here. Gang Wei narrowed his eyes to look at the city but the results were futile as the vision was not as good as Liu Chang's.

Liu Chang himself had only realized this ability a few weeks after he had consumed the Blood Demon Fruit, since then Liu Chang had consumed more of it, besides being able to improve the physical quality of his eye ability also improved greatly.

Gang Wei only looked at Liu Chang enviously for obtaining such an ability, which meant that showing the quality of resources Feng San had given Liu Chang was so good.

Liu Chang and Gang Wei then got their turn after the guards finished inspecting the newcomer, Liu Chang was asked to give some silver coins as the entrance fee of the city.

Before entering the city, Liu Chang had asked what had happened to this city but the city guards did not seem to want to discuss it any further, like hiding something.

Liu Chang did not ask any further, he invited Gang Wei to look for an inn as well as to look for what caused this city to be so deserted.

Along the way Liu Chang found many shops that had closed,

many of them are restaurants and shops that sell swordsmen needs.

“Isn't this City Jian Yi? Obviously this is a border city, it should be in better condition than other cities ..” Liu Chang looked at a restaurant building that had a dragon carved nameplate, he knew this restaurant in front of him was a branch of Han restaurant in Jian Yi.

A few years ago Liu Chang had visited this city to accompany one of his seniors to attend the wedding invitation but at that time Jian Yi was a prosperous city with his famous nickname as the Thousand Merchants, but at that time Jian Yi was a prosperous city with his nickname, because of the many merchants who sell in this city.

Seeing his condition like this, Liu Chang could hardly believe that this city had changed so drastically in just a few years, let alone some restaurants that were previously quite famous looked desolate like they had been abandoned just like that.

Liu Chang then took Gang Wei to one of the small taverns at the end of the city, Liu Chang hopes that one of the taverns he visited while here is still there and has good condition.

Not long after walking Liu Chang finally arrived and found the tavern in good condition, let alone a young man he knew was still guarding this tavern. Liu Chang and Gang Wei then entered and sat down at one of the tables by the window.

The young owner of this small shop then approached the second table, and gave a list of menus owned by the store. Liu Chang stared at the young man for a moment, clearly he had not changed in the slightest but his body was thinner than before.

The young man saw Liu Chang looking at him with a deep gaze, he was a little strange and uneasy but not prejudiced.

“Sorry Young Master, is something wrong?”

“You don't remember me, Lin Gui? It's me ..”
