Ch. 93 – Poor Duke.

After opening the bag Liu Chang had given him, the slaves looked enthusiastic but they did not forget to thank Liu Chang who had flown first to the third floor of the Derryl residence.

Seeing Liu Chang fly so easily, the slaves began to think that Liu Chang was a god who came down to earth to help them.

Because for themselves, a swordsman who can fly very rarely looks even almost impossible because to fly it takes a manual of best quality practices, or the other way is how much power capacity in the swordsman itself.

When those overwhelming guards were preoccupied by the shadow of Liu Chang and his men, Duke Derryl in his room woke up suddenly when he heard the commotion reached his ears.

“Damn it, who would dare attack the Duke residence?!” derryl shouted as he ran towards the door of his room and found that two of his Guardians had left from this doorstep.

Derryl then went down the stairs to the second floor of his house, but he again found something that made him stunned even he was a little nauseous when he saw it.

Right in front of Derryl at this moment, the dozens of Early and Intermediate Swordsmen who were supposed to guard his residence on the second floor were killed with a single slash wound that was extremely neat, he said, visible from their necks was so little blood coming out.

Not long after he managed to calm down, a voice suddenly filled the room and called out his name. Derryl glanced at the voice and found a young man with a very large Crocodile looking at him coldly.

The young man who was with the Crocodile floated a few meters in the air and made Derryl slightly afraid and kneeled at the sight, Derryl looked so frightened regardless of his attitude all along that was so cruel even to his own inhabitants.

“You know your mistake?!” asked the floating young man who was none other than a shadow or Clone Liu Chang.

“No, Sir. Please forgive my life .. forgive my life ..” Derryl trembled violently at the voice of the young man, he began to think that this young man was an angel of death who wanted to take his life.

Clone Liu Chang smiled faintly before disappearing not long after due to the arrival of his real self, Rookie also immediately noticed Liu Chang's arrival and saluted with a lowered head.

“Derryl, tell me where you keep all the letters that bind those slaves!” Liu Chang immediately asked when it came without further ado.

“Ah, that .. I can't, Sir. They ... they–” Derryl has not had time to say a further sentence and has Liu Chang cut it off.

“All your valuable assets, right?!” liu Chang asked with quite a murderous aura that he pointed at Derryl.

Derryl shuddered in horror feeling suddenly there was an extremely gripping aura giving it pressure on his shoulders at this moment, but what made him so surprised was not the aura but the words Liu Chang had just spoken earlier were nothing but something he had thought of just a moment ago.

“This young man can read my mind?” Derryl thought hard, he was a little pessimistic there was someone who was able to read minds but Liu Chang's next words finally made him very sure.

“This young man can read my mind? Why do you think that, Duke?” Liu Chang smiled coldly as he continued to focus his murderous aura towards Derryl, “ Mind reading is everyone's specialty, isn't it?”

Liu Chang's words just now seemed to be a bolt of lightning for Derryl, it had never been thought in his life that he could meet a person as frightening as Liu Chang even in his dreams.

After quite a long time Liu Chang said the same thing over and over again, Derryl finally accidentally leaked the place where he kept all the precious letters that bound the slaves.

Panicked Derryl accidentally thought of the storage place in his mind, he forgot because he was so afraid that the young man before him was able to read minds.

Liu Chang gave a small smile before giving a small jolt on Derryl's forehead to render him unconscious before going to retrieve all the bonds of the slaves.

“Come away, Rookie! Do not step on something that makes your body fall to the ground floor!”

“Good, Sir. I will remember your advice ..” Rookie nodded slowly before following Liu Chang who had flown first.

Besides, the, reading one's mind was often associated with black magic, but Rookie was a little unsure that Liu Chang could master such a science because Liu Chang was not someone who came from a black stream.

Actually, what was thought by Rookie was also felt by Liu Chang, suddenly when introgating Derryl Liu Chang realized he could read minds right then and there.

Liu Chang himself did not understand what happened to him but Liu Chang guessed that mind reading was one of the abilities of the Dragon Swordsman he had only managed to get.

Not long after walking through several armoured rooms, Liu Chang finally found a room shaped like a safe, the door is made of diamond which is quite sturdy because it has a thickness that can only be destroyed by a swordsman.

Liu Chang touched the surface of the door before hitting it with a hand that flowed qi, not long after a room large enough to finally be seen when the diamond door that Liu Chang hit earlier split.

Rookie even to the amazement that the contents of this room were arguably all treasures, there was nothing else that could be said to be worthless in this room. Liu Chang was also no less enthusiastic, he laughed out loud as he managed to find a mountain of gold as well as so many banknotes.

Besides that Liu Chang also found the letter he was looking for to free all the slaves he had currently freed, he said, the number slightly stunned Liu Chang as the letters almost touched the ceiling of this room.

“I really did not expect the wealth of a Duke could be like this, Derryl it ..” Liu Chang shook his head slowly before shaking his hand on the entire coin and paper money, although it looked like stealing but Liu Chang did not feel the slightest bit guilty.

Liu Chang climbed onto Rookie before exiting through the wall he had smashed out of this room on the third floor, Liu Chang immediately ordered Rookie to go to the place he had promised with the Baron before attacking this residence.

“This will be a lesson for the greedy Duke, it is possible that tomorrow he will spread false news about me ..” Liu Chang glanced at the large residence he had managed to destroy tonight, starting from the wealth and assets he had.

The duke is one of the most high-ranking noble titles, being one or two levels below the Emperor or King. Generally under the title of a prince but some British princes today are also given the title Duke, for example Prince William with the title Duke of Cambridge, then Prince Harry with the title Duke of Sussex, then Prince Harry with the title Duke of Sussex, etc.
