Ch. 53 – Liu Chang Vs Demon Leech.

Liu Chang paused between the branches of a tree that was quite tall, before he entered the territory of the stealth leech's nest. According to Jing Quo's explanation this demon was indeed not a demon king. But still to face him is not an easy matter, Liu Chang thought after seeing the situation.

"It seemed like he was back asleep in his nest," Liu Chang glanced around, he did not feel the presence of the Leech demon.

Finished checking the radius of tens of meters around the stealth nest, Liu Chang returned to his original place. Liu Chang set up some traps from the tree trunk he slashed almost collapsed, in hopes of being able to fall on the body of the Leech demon while fighting him.

"I hope he wakes up with this commotion," Liu Chang smiled slightly, he hoped that the sound of the tree trunk he was cutting down several times could wake up the Leech demon.

Not stopping there, Liu Chang began slashing a few more trees to hit the Leech's stealth nest, a few seconds later what Liu Chang was doing was completely responded by the demon. He awoke from his sleep and came out of the nest with a poisonous mist.

Liu Chang smiled in satisfaction, with this the effort he put in was not in vain. Demon Leeches came out slowly. But the mist he let out began to spread rapidly in all directions from his nest.

Liu Chang wanted to prove Jing Quo's words about the poison body he had on him, he stood on the nest long enough for the poisonous mist to start surrounding his body.

Seeing the strangeness that had happened to his lungs, Liu Chang was quite certain that such a poison body indeed existed at this moment. Before drinking the mucus, Liu Chang had already felt tightness just by inhaling the remaining gas of his mucus.

"It's really great .. I guess the poison body does exist."

Liu Chang smiled with satisfaction, his current task was to find a way to make the demon a subordinate that he could summon at any time. A few seconds later the demon showed the trunk of his nose, with its slow path taking a few minutes just to move at such a short distance.

Liu Chang suddenly appeared before the demon, intending to inform him of his whereabouts. Of course, the fight would not take place if one of them did not attack, so Liu Chang took the initiative to attack first.

"First step, slash of silence!!"

Liu Chang leaped towards the side, while slashing the Lightning God Sword onto the leech's stealth antenna. Although it looked like a Leech, Liu Chang could see some parts of the body that helped make the appearance of the demon was quite strange and different from the usual Leech.

"Oh, no flinch. It seemed like a hundred-year-old demon," Liu Chang again attacked, this time he used a little qi to coat his sword. The few times Liu Chang's slash successfully avoided the demon, Liu Chang was quite surprised. But he could still control his mind to focus more on his fight.

Even though his body reached the size of a small house, but Liu Chang could see the Leech's stealth movements were quite agile and several times seemed to disappear while dodging his slashes.

Liu Chang suspected that the poisonous mist played a big role in his body displacement, either using the ninja-like method of disappearing or by deflating his body to be light while moving.

But for sure this demon managed to become the second strongest opponent after the lion demon a few days ago.

"Come, take this!!" Liu Chang slashed back to distract, then passed through the demon body and slashed down from above several times.

Feeling belittled at last the Leech demon resisted Liu Chang's attack by spitting poison liquid from his mouth, the corrosive liquid pointed at Liu Chang quickly. Fortunately Liu Chang had dodged before actually hitting his body.

It was seen that some of the trees behind Liu Chang had dried up immediately when they were exposed to the liquid. Liu Chang could imagine what it would be like if his body was actually exposed to that poisonous liquid.

"Interesting!! I want you more and more," Liu Chang moved quickly, one of his eyes had been hit by the slash of his sword. But a few minutes later the eye actually recovered and it made Liu Chang excited again.

So far this Leech demon before him was the second strongest demon he faced, therefore Liu Chang was extremely excited as it was as if he had a practicing friend who was truly on par with him.

Liu Chang felt that it was better to fight for a long time with a Leech demon than a lion demon whose strength was far above him.

The Demon Leech again attacked, after realizing that the poison he was spouting did not hit Liu Chang's body. He began to attack in another way with his poisonous mist. Liu Chang smiled faintly aware of the stealthy stupidity of the Leech because the poisonous mist so far could not injure him at all.

But Liu Chang's thinking was wrong, the poisonous mist that this time the Leech demon emitted was different from the previous one, though, the fog felt three times stronger than it had been made Liu Chang begin to realize his mistake and move away a few steps to avoid it.

Liu Chang grinned at the Leech demon, only this time he discovered a demon that possessed this kind of intelligence. He thought the poisonous mist that the Leech demon emitted when it first came out of the nest was its strongest mist, but in fact there was still a stronger mist.

"He managed to surprise me .. It seems like close combat will not be profitable at the moment," Liu Chang saved back the Lightning God Sword to the Galactic Ring, instead, he began to take the horses to unleash long-distance blows.

A few seconds later, several blows accompanied by the qi shot out quickly and flew the leaves around the demon. After successfully exorcising the poisonous mist, Liu Chang began to draw closer towards the demon again.

With his lightning sword Liu Chang took out a powerful effective Sutra Sword Arts skill for long-range attacks, just like the third. With a movement that moved from one branch to another Liu Chang managed to avoid the poison that was again spouted by the Leech demon.

"This water again, damn it!! Cih ... It's hollow," Liu Chang smiled bitterly, his robe becoming a little hollow while trying to avoid the poison spouted by the Leech demon. However Liu Chang paid him no heed further, he again advanced towards the Leech demon before the poisonous mist again enveloped the location.

Before Liu Chang could get close, several balls of corrosive poison shot back towards Liu Chang, with Liu Chang's quick movements immediately dodging him. Then it ran towards the right to turn its body to the back of the demon.

"Fifth step, the fate of the fog of life!!"
