Legend of the Dragon God

Legend of the Dragon God
CH. 7 – Sword Ranking.

Liu Chang was silent for a moment after swallowing a few bites. Liu Chang guessed that the effect would be the same or at least better than the Blood Demon Fruit, hence he tried the Chili Stun plant directly without asking much.

“This–” Liu Chang's breath was restrained, he began to feel the effect of Chili Stun which is a very thick spicy taste present his throat. Liu Chang did not expect the effect of the Chili Stun he had just swallowed would be this severe, he began to regret his decision of swallowing a few bites straight away.

After a few seconds, Liu Chang felt the pain all the way to the rest of his body, he thrashed on the ground and rolled around to and fro. Liu Chang's body temperature rose rapidly which caused side effects such as fever.

“How could a Chili like this be called could improve bone quality ...” Inner Liu Chang regretted his decision.

For the next fifteen minutes Liu Chang continued to thrash while looking for something to relieve the heat in his body. But all the effort he did still could not relieve the chili-shaped plants.

After nearly half an hour of thrashing and feeling intense pain, Liu Chang finally stopped and lay limp on the grass.

“Huh ... Ugh, that was a stupid decision!” liu Chang grumbled when he felt his body better.

Not far from where Liu Chang was, it was seen that Feng San was reading his book calmly. Even as Liu Chang thrashed about in pain, he remained motionless from his place.

Seeing that Liu Chang was still in pain, Feng San finally threw an urn filled with water to help ease his pain.

Liu Chang who was still lying down immediately caught him with a ceoat. After a while he noticed the urn had no peculiarities, Liu Chang opened the lid and immediately drank the water.

“Huh ... Huh, this is better. Thank you, Guru.” Liu Chang stood up and saluted.

By eating a few bites of the chili, Liu Chang finally managed to raise the quality of his bones all the way to the Silver Wolf Bone in just half an hour!

After resting for a few more minutes, Liu Chang walked over to Feng San to ask him what he should do next. Master should have a plan to train my other abilities besides bone quality, Liu Chang thought.

Feng San closed his book before starting to speak, “Studying swordsmanship and how to control qi then utilize your ability to do good.” After saying so, Feng San stroked Liu Chang's head.

Feng San then went inside the hut to pick up something after previously telling Liu Chang to train his physique by running away as usual.

“Maybe Chang'er taught me swordsmanship. Looks like his body is quite suitable to receive my sword science ..” Feng San held his chin while grabbing a single book on the shelf.

°°°°°

Liu Chang returned to Feng San's hut after running for several hours. After eating the Stun Chili, Liu Chang could feel his stamina stronger than before and it made Liu Chang run nonstop all the way back to this hut.

“You're back faster than ever. For now I will explain something about the sword. Sit!!” Feng San smiled gently before sitting on the chair he used to wear.

Liu Chang sat down and cross-legged as usual, since a few months ago he would have listened to Feng San's explanation like this while going to learn something.

Feng San then explained that one's martial power wasn't only seen based on the quality of the bones. There are several other factors that can give victory to a swordsman when fighting.

“Because your teacher is very master of swordsmanship. From now on you will learn the sword in my supervision.” Feng San explained.

In general, before starting to learn the real swordsmanship, usually the swordsmen will learn the level of swordsmanship first in order to know the various provisions when studying it.

Feng San then explained that in some martial notebooks, the level of swordsmanship was divided into several categories namely Earth Sword, Wood Sword, Iron Sword, Gold Sword, Diamond Sword, and so on, The strongest one is the Sword God.

In the first stage, when a person who has just known swordsmanship and only mastered one skill is called the Earth Sword. In other words in the Earth Sword stage, a swordsman would be easier to defeat while in a battle between swordsmen as if possessing a ground-based sword.

Then in the second stage, when a swordsman manages to fully master the moves he has memorized and gives a slight variation of the movements to add to his diversity, this stage is called the Wood Sword.

Furthermore in the third stage, when a swordsman managed to fuse with his sword just as the sword was part of his own body, this stage was called the Wood Sword.

Then at the fourth stage, when a swordsman managed to create a sword stance equivalent to a wood stage swordsman, this stage was called the Golden Sword. Which means also, at this stage the ability of a swordsman is so valuable as gold.

In the fifth stage, when a swordsman had a very high understanding of his swordsmanship and managed to create a variation of the skill equivalent to that of an iron stage swordsman, this stage was called Diamond Sword.

Then lastly when a swordsman managed to master more than a hundred moves and managed to master it perfectly so that he could turn a leaf or paper into a sharp sword, this stage is called the Sword God.

“According to the Book of Dragon Gods that is in my hand like that is the level of the sword that exists today. To your knowledge this book was written by the VI-th Dragon God who lived a hundred thousand years ago. His spirit is currently in the Realm of the Gods, do you have any questions?” Feng San smiled faintly before closing the book in his hand.

Meanwhile Liu Chang nodded slowly after hearing all the levels and also the various provisions.

“I understand, Master.I will follow your will. Then what's the next thing to do to learn swordsmanship, Master?” Liu Chang raised his eyebrows.

Feng San smiled faintly before starting to answer, “This question I have been waiting for since. Follow me, you will be amazed when you see it!!”

The two then walked towards the settlement of the Sky tribe. Liu Chang since earlier could only hold back his curiosity, before actually seeing what Feng San was going to show him.

“You will definitely be astonished .. what might be something terrible ...” inner Liu Chang as he continued to follow the footsteps of Feng San who was getting further and further away from his hut.

After walking for a few minutes, the pair of teachers and students arrived at a meadow surrounded by trees.

The trees growing in this place were very different from what Liu Chang was used to seeing.

In this place the trees grew to an unreasonable size like one of the trees in front of Liu Chang which had a height of 40 meters and a diameter of about 7 meters.

“Please? This is what will amaze me?” murmured Liu Chang slowly.

“Of course not these trees, but something in them.”
