Ch. 58 – Penetrating Proficiency Stage II.

"Snake Smile?!" Liu Chang jumped backwards quickly. He had not expected a river that flowed profusely like this to even have a guard in it.

Unfortunately Liu Chang's movements had been known to the demon before. He attacked Liu Chang and came out of the stream, his enormous body in fact did not stop his extremely fast movements.

"Hey this is not kidding right?..The length of his body reached thirty meters!!" Liu Chang was surprised to see the size of the Demon body before him this time. Liu Chang retreated a few steps trying to lure the Snake Demon into the forest. A fairly narrow fighting area forced him to do this.

"Shhhh."

Not stopping there, the Serpent Demon followed Liu Chang's movements and chased him into the forest. It was easy for the Serpent Demon to reach Liu Chang even with the distance of the two who had been twenty meters away.

Liu Chang readied his horses, Liu Chang was already quite tired from the fight but will told him otherwise. This time there is a demon that inevitably must be defeated, or if he loses he is the food.

Fresh blood flowed on the edge of Liu Chang's lips, quickly Liu Chang wiped away as the Serpent Demon had reached before him again. Liu Chang readied his Lightning God Sword back.

Liu Chang was getting ready again, he guessed that this fight would not be finished in a short time. On the other hand Liu Chang's opponent this time, collected a corrosive ball in his mouth and prepared to fire it at Liu Chang.

Without Liu Chang and the Snake Demon noticing, there were watching the fight of the two of them from a considerable distance. That person was Jing Quo. By hiding his whereabouts Jing Quo could easily lurk unknowingly.

"Your sword will soon reach the golden stage, huh." Jing Quo downed his wine jar back.

Liu Chang darted back using body lightening science, occasionally he appeared and slashed into the blind spot of the Demon Snake. Yet the Snake Demon skin that was so hard made the slash bounce off with Liu Chang's hand that it did not stop shaking.

"First step, slash of silence!!"

"Third move, dragon lightning storm!!"

"Fifth step, the fate of the fog of life!!"

Liu Chang's hand trembled again, he had already attacked with all the moves he had mastered. But the result was that the Snake Demon did not budge in the slightest with the attack.

"Dead you son of man!!"

The Serpent Demon again attacked Liu Chang with its tail and precisely aimed at his head, Liu Chang reflexively directly held him back using his hands and Lightning God Sword.

But it was in vain, his body bounced further than before and knocked down trees hundreds of meters in all directions. Liu Chang felt his body crumble as if with some broken ribs.

The Snake Demon did not remain silent, after throwing Liu Chang's body that far he crept back quickly towards Liu Chang with corrosive orbs in his mouth.

"I'll stop, because I appreciate you, Master." The Snake Demon lowered its head, it crept back towards the river earlier.

On the other hand Liu Chang who had just been hit by a blow woke up a while later, it turned out that even the Swordsman was unable to withstand such a huge stealth blow, he thought.

Jing Quo immediately drew closer towards Liu Chang, he smiled warmly as if nothing had happened. Whereas before when danger came to Liu Chang, he stopped him.

"Senior?"

"We go Chang'er, the one you fought earlier was the ancestor of the snakes. He attacked because he smelled blood from your body." Jing Quo explained before pulling Liu Chang's collar and flying at high speed into his hut.

"Eat this!!" Jing Quo threw the bluish-colored fruit.

"What fruit is this?" Liu Chang raised his eyebrows, this time one more fruit that he was going to consume.

Jing Quo smiled gently, before explaining that the fruit was to speed up Liu Chang's healing process. And Liu Chang had to eat it in some process until the seventh fruit.

Liu Chang did not argue in the slightest, after all, it did not taste much different from the apples he used to eat.

"I'm out for a second. You rest and don't go anywhere!!" Jing Quo reminded.

"Good, Senior Jing." Liu Chang gazed towards the door of the hut that was slowly closing back after Jing Quo's exit. This time Liu Chang refocused towards the fruit in his hand, after eating it quite a lot it turned out that there was no meaningful effect on his body.

Outside the hut, Jing Quo stared at the night sky like yesterday. Although it was a little darker than usual the stars today were quite beautiful, he thought.

"It should be a few hours after this the effect will work. Let's just hope that Blood Demon is still quite reasonable in taste, so that he himself doesn't realize it."

Jing Quo looked back at the sky, with an ordinary expression he again downed the wine jar in his hand. It seems that the dark memories reappeared and forced him to swallow the urn containing wine again, although in the end not a little made him drunk.

A few hours later, Liu Chang who was still asleep suddenly woke up and felt his body that was like it was being overwritten by a tens of tons of rock and his meridians were like being forced to open.

Liu Chang glanced towards Jing Quo's room and saw Jing Quo not waking up in the slightest with his cry. Liu Chang again groaned in pain, his body feeling it again until he had to maintain consciousness to endure the pain.

The morning arrived, Liu Chang felt his entire body limp and helpless. On the other hand cold sweat continued to pour from his face and all over his body, he did not understand his condition but for sure he believed this fruit effect that was yesterday given by Jing Quo to him.
