Ch. 83 – Mission 7 Magma Keys.

Hearing the question, Basile only fell silent, he felt he had to think hard to determine the people he appointed this time. Seeing the large number of casualties on the search for artifacts led by Salazar before, Basile did not want to take the same risk this time.

“If you are willing to collect those 7 Magma Keys, I can send some people to accompany you, how?” Basile opened his mouth after quite a while of thinking, he really wished that Liu Chang would accept his request.

Liu Chang scratched his nape, he looked at Chiriyu to make sure the little girl wanted to do this mission. Liu Chang was extremely unwilling to involve someone who did not possess such high abilities as Chiriyu.

Chiriyu nodded her head slowly seeing Liu Chang looking at her expectantly, the little girl knew Liu Chang wished she had rejected Basile's offer. But Chiriyu finally prefers to agree with what Basile asked for.

“I have no other choice, if Chiriyu dares to take the risk, I will take her to do this mission. So, who are the people that senior will give me?” ask Liu Chang.

“We'd better get out of this place first, I need to talk about it with some tribal elders. You can wait, right?”

“No problem, the decision is in your hands, senior.”

After closing and arranging some of the items scattered after the explosion back then, the five people including Liu Chang walked out of the Everard heirloom. Curtis immediately bowed respectfully seeing the chief of his tribe had been at the door.

“Curtis, collect elders from each family!” Basile glanced at Curtis as he continued walking. “Tell them, I want to talk about something!”

Curtis nodded slowly. “Good chairman, I will asap call the elders to your room.”

About an hour later, 7 elders from the 7 Everard tribal families gathered in one room after Basile told them to gather and discuss.

Basile immediately opened the meeting without further ado, he said all the findings and meaning of the inscription that the Everard tribe had. Starting from the contents of the stone that contains the secrets of the Island of the Ice Skull to the problem of other parts of the stone that discuss the 7 Keys of Magma.

All the elders looked at each other, none of them were not surprised by this information. Actually since ten years ago this information should have appeared but seeing there are stealth bats inhabiting their heirloom storage, this information becomes too late.

Basile said further, that the duty of the Everard tribe when it was founded was to protect what had been ordered. Therefore Basile asked the opinion of the elders present to give input, who would be the representative of the Everard tribe related to the mission of collecting 7 Magma Keys?

Once again, the elders looked at each other. None of them proposed to anyone in their family, everyone wished that another family would be representative of this dangerous task.

“Better Curtis who we made a representative of the tribe, he has extensive connections as an unofficial member of the influential Curtis clan in this Shiwu Country ..” One of the elders gave an input.

“I refused him, Curtis is the right-hand man of the head Basile, he must remain in the Eve Valley. In addition, we consider him part of the Aeron family!!” timpal the elder of the Aeron family with ketus.

“Why didn't the Kuin family just file a family member? That way we can calm down, right?” One of the elders interrupted the conversation and instead made the discussion even more murky.

The situation continued until the discussion just went round and round and did not reach the meeting point after walking for an hour. The discussion did look pretty good as all the elders were expressing their opinions to each other, but they did not propose their own family members but instead proposed other family members.

Basile massaged his forehead looking at the chaos that was happening, his goal to find a solution instead ended badly. Basile had held back his anger long enough until now but seeing the situation getting worse he felt compelled to act.

We have this discussion, after this I will ask each of your 7 members to send to the outside world to have experience. And when that comes there is no rejection!” Basile moved out of the room after pounding the round discussion table. He clenched his hands hard because he was so furious.

The tribal elders could only bow with guilt, getting the anger of an Everard tribe chief like Basile was one of the things they least expected before.

Liu Chang, Chiriyu, Salazar and the others immediately approached Basile who had walked out of the discussion room. They were eager to find out the results of the discussion as to who Basile would send to accompany Liu Chang later.

“The discussion situation is going quite well, according to our decision earlier, I will send Salazar the head of the Tribe and Aqua Archaeological Forces who is my Granddaughter accompanying Liu Chang!” Basile smiled faintly, he seemed to forget about the incident and thought the situation was fine.

Basile only briefly replied as people began to be curious about the representative, he had no other choice but to choose Salazar and Aqua which proved quite useful to Liu Chang.

Hearing the decision coming out of Basile's mouth that seemed to be holding back anger, everyone became incredulous yet not a single person dared to question Basile's decision on this.

Most of the tribe members were relieved not to be chosen as representatives for such a dangerous mission. While the two chosen people could only resign to the task given by Basile, especially Aqua who looked surprised because she had never once gone to the outside world.

Because for the Everard tribe, the outside world besides the Eve Valley is always rumored to be dangerous and full of threats. Liu Chang took pity on Aqua but he himself could not oppose Basile's decision.

“You will leave tomorrow, while I will prepare your tasks during the gathering of those 7 Keys.”

In the morning, Liu Chang, Chiriyu, Salazar and Aqua were ready for their mission. Liu Chang obtained a package about the shape and also the features of the Magma Key that he was ordered to collect.

Unlike when he entered, Liu Chang did not see any exit from this Eve Valley. But there is a dimensional door in this place according to Basile.

Basile said the Everard tribe had a dimension door that was already quite worn out, so often when it came out of this Eve Valley someone could have been thrown very far from the moment he entered.

“Come on, we have no other choice. This is all we have right now.” Basile smiled faintly before closing the dimensional door.

The only reason Liu Chang was so reluctant to go out through this door, was not to worry about Salazar or Aqua but Chiriyu who was often frightened.

“You're not afraid? I can prepare the seal?” liu Chang asked as he had walked quite a distance. Just like the dimensional door in general, what is in it is darkness but Salazar said they will usually outsmart the lighting using a torch.

“No, I'm happy with something like this, Brother.” Chiriyu smiled slightly.

“Maybe I was too worried about her? It felt when fighting the bat that time he did not stop shaking .. apparently Chiriyu has changed.” Liu Chang muttered softly as he looked towards the front, a white light began to be seen on the door of this dimension.

“I hope we are thrown into a favorable place ..” Liu Chang started to think of something no-no.
