CH. 9 – River Problems.

Liu Chang prepared and held his sword and began chanting some of the moves he had read. After sighing for a moment, Liu Chang moved consecutively with the movements he had seen.

Combined with the science of lightening his body, Liu Chang moved nimbly and was hard to estimate but in Feng San's vision those movements still had some weakness and ineffectiveness in his movement patterns.

“His mastery of the judges has already reached level 8, no wonder he devoured dozens of books and knowledge in a few months, he is so genius.” Feng San was once again stunned to see Liu Chang's movements, usually if one had intelligence in academic terms, in other matters such as martial arts he would not be too dominant.

But in Liu Chang's case it was like being fused within Liu Chang's talent, like his body was the Creator's blessing. It seems like a few more years this young man will become one of the important people in the martial world, Feng San thought.

“Enough, let your body rest! Don't over-exert yourself.” Feng San stopped Liu Chang's exhausted-looking movements after demonstrating over 9000 moves.

Liu Chang lowered his sword to the ground and propped up his exhausted body.

It did not feel like the day was back to dark, a sign that night had arrived. Feng San took Liu Chang back to the hut after yesterday he let Liu Chang sleep on the grass.

“I have to increase my stamina and physical strength again ..” Liu Chang thought of re-consuming the Blood Demon Fruit after seeing that his physical strength was still too weak.

“It's not as cold as before, what could be wrong ...” Liu Chang felt the water surface of the Eternal Ice River was different from before, at this moment he felt that he was in a river that he was completely unfamiliar with.

After doing some simple movements to heat up the body, Liu Chang threw himself into the river that used to always hinder him.

“Calm down, get up and tell me slowly what happened.”

After learning of his story from the young man, Liu Chang held onto his aching head. This matter was even bigger than he should have dealt with.

“You can handle it, right?”

“I'll try it first, if I don't go back tell the teacher what happened.” Liu Chang said confidently, walking towards the upper reaches of the river that caused this problem.

Seen a large enough stealth salamander swimming and released some poison downstream. Liu Chang was astonished that this stealth poison had no effect on his body while diving into the riverbed while picking up fruit, or perhaps because so far the poison effect was not so strong.

Seeing as there seemed to be prey nearby the salamander approached towards Liu Chang then started to remove the poison from his body and mouth. Liu Chang became alert and immediately unsheathed his wooden sword.

Liu Chang and the Salamander moved simultaneously, Liu slashed the sword while the salamander spat out several lumps of poison towards Liu Chang.

The Celestial Tribe that was watching the fight held their breath, they could see that the wisp of poison was about to hit Liu Chang and blister his body from the heat.

However Liu Chang made an unexpected move, he changed the direction of his attack to dodge the attack quickly, almost the event that would have put him in danger was successfully missed.

After several times dodging the incoming attacks, Liu Chang's body began to get used to the movements of the Salamander demon. Liu Chang then started to make some moves to attack.

“I hope this wood is sharp enough.” Liu Chang was able to see the harshness of the outer shell of the Salamander even before the sword in his hand landed an attack.

“That's the way, I should try!” Liu Chang leaped towards the other rock, and moved around to look for the blind spot of this salamander.

Moments later suddenly the stealth of the salemandar was lost in Liu Chang's sight, Liu Chang looked around warily Fearing the demon was attacking him from his blind spot.

“Let us help you, we face him together!” When Liu Chang was in confusion, suddenly two old men entered the river and stepped on one of the stones near Liu Chang.

“Sky Tribe?” Liu Chang scrunched his forehead looking at the appearance of the two old men.

“Your attacks won't work on him, son. You should use the qi.” haired man strange enough to talk earlier with Liu Chang. After saying so, the two old men began to attack the river water with their strength.

The strange-haired man let out his lightning while another calm-impressed man let out a huge fireball into the water. Liu Chang had been on the mainland before when the two old men started attacking.

After the two old men attacked continuously for five minutes, a black shadow began to emerge from the water. The large purplish-colored body of the distinctive stealth salamander appeared not long after.

All who witnessed the defeat of the demon cheered with joy. Finally someone managed to defeat him, after a long time the demon disrupted their livelihood.

“Chairman Shi and Shu are indeed the best!”

“Of course, when it comes to qi control, no one can defeat the two even in the Sky tribe once.”

“You're right, I even goosebumps imagining if there's in the salamander's position.”

The body of the demon Salamander was then taken by the inhabitants of the Sky tribe, after being defeated. They invited Liu Chang to join the party tonight.

Liu Chang rejected it subtly because there was an important matter that he took precedence over at the moment but if the bidding of the party remained until later, he would happily come.

“Of course ... Our door is always open for you,” Chairman Shi said for Liu Chang to come to his residence in a few days.

Liu Chang did not reject the offer. After today's affairs and troubles were over Liu Chang returned to his hut for fear that Feng San was asking him the news.
