NOT PERPETRATORS

NOT PERPETRATORS
Unravelling the Mystery

"So we really need your information" I said expectantly.

Mbah Mar nodded. "Yes, I know. Problem .... What was the name of the woman you were looking for?"

"Fania Larasati, Mbah," I said.

Mbah Mar nodded again. "Oh ...."

"Why? Mbah Mar knows, right?" I was worried to find his expression.

"Hm ... a minute .. a minute." Mbah Mar seemed to remember. "Yes!"

I widened my eyes, looking at the old grandma in front of me. "Have you remembered?"

The grandmother breathed a rough sigh. "Not yet."

"I suspected! We're just wasting time here! Come on, go home, Imania!" Secretary Ve stood up again.

Mbah Mar laughed again. I was confused by this old lady. Actually ... he really knew about Fania, or just bullied us. But .. he can tell me. That made me think twice about leaving this place.

"Sir Ve?" I went back and asked Secretary Ve to sit down. But he's stooping. The secretary ve is also moving.

"Fania Larasati once lived in this village!" mbah Mar.

That stopped the secretary's move. But he did not turn around. I know, the secretary Ve can't wait to serve a joke mbah Mar.

"He was born here. His mother lived here a few months," continued Mbah Mar. "He was driven out of his hometown.

Secretary Ve suddenly turned around. He looked at Mar with surprise.

"Who is Fania's real mother's name, Mbah?" my many.

"The people of this village used to call him Rintik. Because he always shed tears. The spatter tub. He's suffering a lot."

"Did Mbah Mar know his real name?" ask again.

"He's hiding his true identity. I know less about that. But she's beautiful."

Secretary Ve slowly walked over. "You seriously know about Fania and her mother?"

"Do I look like I'm kidding? You are an impatient woman! Just like your lust!" mbah Mar on the secretary Ve.

"Basic perot!" as if secretary Ve lirih.

"What did you say? You want a fingernailto become a fly? Let's lick the shit in this neighborhood. Disgusted son! How dare you mess with your parents!"

"Haish!" secretary Ve's lips are upset.

I grabbed the arm of the secretary Ve, asking him to sit down. And with a little force, the secretary Ve sat back down.

"Are you serious or not? If not, I won't talk!" mbah Mar was getting upset.

"I'm sorry, Mbah? We will hear the story about Fania and her mother, from Mbah Mar," I said seriously.

"Drink first, and I'll tell you" said Mar.

I also grabbed a cup of warm tea that Mar made.

"Is this safe? I was worried that something was mixed in it" Ve's secretary said suddenly, sniffing the smell of the tea.

"Do you think I'm going to poison you?"

"It could be, right?"

"Sir Ve?"

"I won't tell you when you haven't had your tea!"

"Imania, isn't this suspicious? He forced us to drink this tea. Don't-don't ...." Secretary Ve put the tea back on the table.

"Nothing will happen, Brother Ve?"

I also drank the tea that was in my hand. While the secretary Ve just looked at me anxiously. A cup of tea has been wiped out. I put the cup back on the table.

"Imania! What if there's poison in your tea?"

Mbah Mar smiled at me. Then turned his gaze to the secretary Ve. "Come, finish your tea!"

After pushing Ve's secretary with a bit of coercion, he finally took the cup of tea.

"Yes, Lord .. protect your servant ...." Secretary Ve prayed before finally sipping the tea to the end.

"Hoe!" Secretary Ve suddenly nauseated.

"You okay, Brother Ve?"

"It feels so weird! I don't know if after this, I'll be okay" she said, holding her stomach.

Mbah Mar laughs at the expression of the secretary Ve. Then he said, "Don't like to judge something by what it looks like. In fact, you can't distinguish premonition from intuition."

"Son? What you perceive will affect your sense, actions, and feedback. So, practice to have critical thinking. You're too easily influenced by perception. Worth it! You're not married until now!" mbah Mar.

"What do you mean?" ask the secretary Ve confused.

"Understand it yourself. It is an art in life!"

Secretary Ve fell silent. And we waited for Mbah Mar to tell a story.

"All right, I'm telling you. Once upon a time, there was a woman who suddenly came to this village. She's in a pregnant condition. Of course, these villagers don't accept the woman either."

"How old was the woman when she came to this village?" ask the secretary Ve.

"Hm .. he's young. Maybe around the 20s, Iah," replied Mbah Mar.

"How does the next story go?" ask the secretary Ve.

"He lives in the house of Rina and Toni, the villagers here. His house is at the south end of the village. Rintik said that he would give up the baby he contained after birth. It just so happened that Rina and Toni were never given offspring."

Mbah Mar speaks seriously. "The freckle worked so hard during pregnancy. Become a farm worker, wash the neighbor's clothes, iron, anything! In the condition of pregnancy, she remains a working spirit. Some are pitying him, but mostly, the residents even insulted and railed Rintik."

We still continue to hear the story from Mbah Mar carefully.

"just teach. She's pregnant without a husband. Of course, discriminating in the environment. In fact, many residents who had tried to expel Rintik from this village. But thanks to Mr. RT, all residents also undo the intention to expel him."

Mbah Mar seemed sad to tell the story. "Until finally, Rintik gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Beautiful as her mother. But ill-fated, Rintik exhaled his last breath, shortly after giving birth to Fania."

"So, he's really dead?" The look on Ve's secretary's face turned soft.

"Yes, Fania's mother died after struggling to give birth to her."

"Then, what happens next, Mbah?" ask Ve's secretary with teary eyes.

"As promised. Fania is given and nurtured by Rina and Toni. At first, they loved Fania very much. However, six months after Fania was born, Rina became pregnant. In fact, he has been diagnosed infertile by a doctor. It's miracle. And ... and a catastrophe for Fania. They no longer love Fania. In fact, Fania was treated unworthy by them. They were often rude towards Fania. Often the poor girl gets punches and bruises on her body."

I remembered Fania's writing in the book. And I am more and more convinced that the story Mbah Mar tells is true.

"More when Keisya was born. Keisya is the daughter of Rina and Toni. They never did anything fair to Fania. Fania worked hard since childhood. He works anything. He always said he wanted to go to school. So, the money from work he used for school fees. He is also quite smart, until reportedly, the school reduces costs. After graduating from Junior High, Fania left this village. He said he just wanted to wander. He couldn't stand the attitude of his uncle and aunt."

"But, Mbah. Fania went to high school at the same school as my ex-husband" I said.

"If it's about that, I don't know. I just know, Fania lived here until the end of Junior High."

"But why, no one knew when we asked about Fania?" many wonder.

Mbah Mar sighed for a moment, then continued to tell, "This is the request of his uncle and aunt Fania. They said they didn't want to get into trouble because of Fania and her mother. Moreover, Rintik once advised, so as not to open his identity and his son later. He's suffered enough for loving a man."

"Well, how do you know about all this? Didn't you say Fania's mother kept everything a secret about her?" ask the secretary Ve.

Mbah Mar smiled. "Rintik told me."

"really?" Ve's secretary's eyes widened. "That means you know who that man is?"

"Not much. Rintik just said that the man was betrothed by his parents."

Secretary Ve suddenly held onto his chest. Clear threads from the eyes of the secretary Ve also fell.

"The man is handsome and rich." Mbah Mar continues.
