Rangiku's Suffering

When Itsuki returned home, he saw a commotion going on behind the Zanjutsu Hall. Walking towards the source of the noise, he saw Rangiku being blocked by a group of boys as he used Shunpo to climb up to a nearby tree.

'Who are they?'

His mind was immediately answered when he saw a group of boys moving and trying to catch Rangiku.

A little turn of the clock.

Rangiku had just finished class and was just heading home when he saw a letter among his belongings. It seemed to be just an ordinary letter until he opened it.

'Letters of love again'

Sighing, he kept it and started walking towards the Zanjutsu Hall. Rangiku was really beautiful and this became even more prominent due to the continuous training he had to do in the academy. This naturally attracted the opposite sex as he received many confessions and love letters. He was a kind person so he rejected them politely.

This should have been the same when he arrived at the back of the Zujutsu hall and saw a group of boys already there.

"Hey, my Rangiku you're coming"

Their leader seems to be the one who called out to Rangiku. He saw about 17 had short hair and overall, an average face. He was wearing a typical academy uniform and his zanpakuto was tied on his back. The other, who seems to be his minions, is typical of goons with big lips, big noses and generally looks like delinquents.

"So what's your answer?"

Rangiku looked at the three criminals then at the boy in front and disgust was visible in his eyes. This person was different, even though he had rejected her before but he never gave up. It would be fun but he hated the way he looked at her.

 Rangiku knew he wanted her as some kind of trophy to show off to others and he never really liked her. If he was useless then he would just use it and throw it away like a trach. Besides, he already had someone in his heart.

"Sasaki-senpai, don't call me with such familiarity and my answer was and always will be, no" he said with determination.

Anger slowly surfaced on Sasaki-senpai's face while a possessive glint flashed across her eyes. This did not go unnoticed by Rangiku as bad feelings slowly crept into his heart. Just as he was about to leave a voice behind him,

"Get him"

This really surprised Rangiku because he never expected the other party to do this. He quickly turned around while shouting,

"What are you doing?!"

"I've been chasing you for the past two months, yet you keep ignoring me. Many times you have ignored my progress, but no longer"

A crazy grin appeared on his face as he expressed his 'complaints'.

"Don't worry about the academy knowing it. This place has been cleaned up and I doubt you'll say anything once we're done with you"

A look of despair flashed in his eyes which was then replaced by determination

'Itsuki doesn't want to see me like this'

"Hold my enemy, Bakudo #1 Sai"

Two of the minions found their hands behind their backs, while the third was able to dodge by hiding behind the other two. My rang quickly overwhelmed as the restrained one threw itself at him. Although he could avoid it, the latter charged into its midst, with the full intention of catching it.

Desperation filled his body as a streak of tears threatened to fall.

'I'm sorry, Itsuki'

He closed his eyes waiting for the impending calamity, but all he heard was the impact, the grunts and the sound of bodies crashing into the ground.

Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a very familiar back, white hair that was pigtailed high and a back that gave him a sense of security.

Happiness flashed in his eyes as a soft voice came out but received no response

"Occ"

Itsuki was completely enraged as his eyes slowly activated and reiatsu increased. Luckily he was there otherwise who knew what was going to happen.

"He's…."

Sasaki-senpai tried to say a few things but she was immediately struck by fear as she began to shiver uncontrollably. The world turned black and all he could see were two gigantic eyes staring at him, judging whether to kill him or not as he slowly retreated.

Itsuki only saw a miserable mess in front of him before he reigned in his reiats and turned to deactivate his eyes. As he turned around, he felt a pair of arms encircling him as Rangiku buried his head in his chest

"Thank you"

"Let's go"

Itsuki finally spoke as she led Rangiku away from the situation.

Calm him down, he asked

"What's going on?"

Rangiku began to explain what happened in the middle of the occasional sobbing as Itsuki's eyes grew colder. Sighing lightly, Itsuki looked at Rangiku well and came to a conclusion.

"Let's practice with me"

Itsuki wanted Rangiku to become stronger so he decided to invite her to train with him. In the anime she can't reach Bankai and now Itsuki wants her to achieve it.

Rangiku was surprised by Itsuki's statement as he always kept his training a secret, choosing to do everything alone. Moreover, he felt very happy because he felt he had just taken a big step to get closer to Itsuki.

After dropping off Rangiku, she told him to meet the day after tomorrow for training and go home.
