The wind blew as Shunsui and Itsuki faced off. There seemed to be a mutual understanding that they would only use one sword to fight against each other.

"I've noticed this, but you always keep one hand in its sheath, even if you're just walking, you seem ready for an ambush."

Itsuki couldn't help it. That is one of the things you learn while practicing at Hiten mitsurugi-ryu. Itsuki did not pay much attention because it only bought profits without losses.

"Hoo, it looks like you're having fun"

A third person suddenly appeared.

"Yo Ukitake, you're here. I'm testing our kouhai so help us start this game"

Ukitake laughed lightly while raising his hand. He wanted to talk to his kouhai a little but it could wait.

Swinging his hand down, Ukitake shouted

"Hajim!"

With a given start, both Shunsui and Itsuki moved on. This time Itsuki did not hold back, he was facing his senior who had a lot of experience with swords. Not to mention he's also the Gotei 13 captain-commander candidate, who may have changed with Itsuki's interference, but you never know.

Meeting in the middle of the two swords clashing before Shunsui felt another sword approaching, blocking it, another sword approached Shunsui from the other side. Shunsui was confused by his speed as he used pure instinct and experience to block the sword.

Separating, Shunsui looked at Itsuki,

"Quite fast isn't it, Itsuki"

This time Shunsui called Itsuki by her name, effectively making her on par with him. Itsuki's calm face remained as she stood up.

Ukitake on the side was also quite surprised at his speed.

"It looks like I should upgrade it"

Shunsui unsheathed his other sword and stood there with both swords on either side. Itsuki did not draw his other sword because he wanted to see the limit of his ability with one sword. Once again, the two fighters disappeared as Shunsui shouted

"Don't underestimate me"

It seemed like he felt Itsuki was looking at him without drawing his other sword. Clashing again, Shunsui ran into the same problem again. Itsuki's sword is too fast.

 His swordplay also did not need to be scorned. In terms of pure swordsmanship, Shinsui realized that he was weaker.

Right now, Shunsui fought purely with instinct and experienced nothing more and was pushed back.

Ukitake at the side was watching this while thinking,

'Sensei, what kind of monster have you bought?'

Even he could barely see Itsuki's sword. By the time he caught one, he realized that it was only a shadow and the actual sword had already descended to attack again. Shunsui felt more pressure as an alarm bell rang in his head. Every attack Itsuki gave towards a vital point, although there was no killing intent, it was no reason to slack off.

Sweat fell from his chin as it was cut in half with Itsuki's sword. Moments later Shunsui's voice sounded,

"Ukitake, help me"

Shunsui was not at all ashamed to say that, as Ukitake took his sword. He knows his best friend and he knows that it is not a normal situation to say that.

With Ukitake joining, Itsuki finally unsheathed his second sword. 

Taking this opportunity Itsuki uses one of Ryurai's tricks and blinds the two with a flash of light. With this he could jump backwards and once again draw some distance between them.

Taking some time to adjust to the situation, the three stared down in this 2 v 1 situation. It was a pure swordsmanship fight so no shikai, kido, or any power was used.

 Alone, Itsuki decided to make the first move, it would be bad if they carried out a pincer attack.

He decided to attack first because he was quite new to swordsmanship. This proved to be true as he was quickly overwhelmed by the attack. Shunsui stepped up as Itsuki retreated and appeared behind her.

Swinging his sword at Shunsui, Ukitake's sword suddenly appeared to block him. Exchanging a few more moves, Itsuki came to the conclusion that the two were excellent partners. 

Being good friends for many years and Yamamoto students have allowed them to have excellent teamwork.

Still Itsuki did not retreat, his swordsmanship made for 1 v many situations and he did not lose.

This went on for quite some time, none of them excelling at each other.

Before they know it, they have an audience. One was a group of two men and one woman, the other was just one woman.

"It looks like they're fighting"

Lisa said as she continued,

"For them to join, who do you think it is?"

"I don't know"

"Captain will win"

"Obviously the captain will win"

"I thought he'd win first"

"No, I think he'll win first"

The woman had dark blonde hair and gray eyes. He wears a standard shihakuso but has a white shirt collar that stands out from his top while also wearing a pair of white gloves. However, the two did not know who their captain was fighting.

This was a captain level fight and Itsuki was too fast for them to realize.

Kaien Shiba felt strange

'Where have I felt this reiatsu before'

Suddenly I heard a breath behind them. Lisa and Kaien suddenly froze while the quarrel between the two also stopped. The four of them slowly turned around to see a bald old man standing there.

"Captain-Commander"

The four of them suddenly shouted while bowing their heads. The two who were fighting fell to their knees.

"These kids, cause so much noise while playing ..."

Before he could continue, he suddenly saw how calm Itsuki was holding back his other two students. It lit a fire inside, but he forcefully suppressed it.

'I have to stay calm in front of these kids'

As he calmed himself down, Shunsui's voice sounded,

"Ack, what a blinding light it is"

Lisa suddenly looks up only to see the sun reflecting off Yamamoto's head and a shadow covering her eyes before she starts to pray,

'Please captain, stop talking'

However, no one answered her prayer as the same voice came out

"Who is bald ..."

"Wait for Shunsui"

Ukitake had noticed Yamamoto and tried to stop Shunsui but it was too late. Knowing that Shunsui had kicked the awakened sleeping dragon, Itsuki stopped attacking and moved aside. 

He had just turned to look at Yamamoto when he saw a shadow covering his eyes. Itsuki could see the veins coming out of Yamamoto as he held his staff horizontally.

Shunsui's sweat poured out over his teacher's actions while only one thought repeatedly flashed through his head.

'Not face, not face ...'

His mind suddenly came to a halt when he heard his teacher's next words

"Some kids are asking for a beating"

"Aaaaagggggghhhhhhh!!!!"

Itsuki was there sitting on his knees with Ukitake next to him. In front of them, Yamamoto loudly reprimanded them for making a fuss. A few meters away, a charred corpse was seen lying there. Well, it's not a corpse because it's still breathing. Some bruises are especially concentrated on the face. It seems that Yamamoto is paying close attention to the place while Shunsui tries his best to protect it.

The four subordinates were some distance away because this was the first time, they saw this side of their captain.

"It looks like a father is scolding his children"

Lisa suddenly called

"Yes, it's true"

Kaien answered while the other two nodded. Kaien then turned to the two

"It's the first time I've seen Kotsubaki Sentaro and Kotetsu Kiyone shut up voluntarily"

The two did not say anything because Yamamoto was theirs, but one could tell from their faces that they felt guilty. It seems to say something like 'how can we talk like that with the captains here'

The abuse lasted for quite a while before Yamamoto turned to Itsuki and a proud expression appeared on his face.

"I'd say that your swordsmanship is on par with mine. With some more training, you can even go beyond it"

Ukitake was not surprised by this because he already felt it was so. The other four were far away and they could not hear what they were talking about. Suddenly a twitch caught their attention when Shunsui woke up. All the hair on his body was burnt and only the hair on top of his head survived.

"Eh, what's going on?"

"It looks like you're awake"

Shunsui suddenly stiffened but turned around with a flattering smile

"Ara, old man when did you come"

"Not so long ago"

"Haha, you look younger than before"

Itsuki just looked at that interaction with a smile. Turning to the four, he saw Kaien looking at him with a complex expression on his face.
