Two months easily passed since Itsuki's episode with Rangiku. At first it was a bit awkward but was ignored by Itsuki's determination to become stronger. The training with Rangiku consisted of occasional spars and he aimed it at his kido. 

With the sparring it helps develop Hoho, Hakuda and his Zanjutsu as his zanpakuto grip begins to dark red with his tsuba slowly turning into a cat shape. Training in Kido helped develop his control of reiatsu and helped him have a stronger relationship with his zanpakuto.

In one of the training dojos, two people were seen crossing swords, one of them purely attacking while the other was defending. It was especially Itsuki attacking because he wanted Rangiku to know how to defend himself properly, and, he was, by no means, gentle against the opposite sex Every time he saw a gap, he said, he would attack immediately but he still gave him a chance to block and then counterattack. This was done for a few more fights until Itsuki retreated and stopped attacking once he saw Rangiku was about to collapse.

You can see that Rangiku almost collapsed. Itsuki let her rest as she started packing.

After helping Rangiku to his dorm. Itsuki was again confused by his circumstances. He made no progress at all with his Zanpakuto. He even asked Onabara Gengoro but he was also at a loss as to what the problem was. Although he had a vague idea of what it was, he was not sure if it was true because it was very rare if that was the case.

After saying goodbye, they parted ways to begin preparing for the event. Itsuki has a premonition that he will have a breakthrough with his zanpakuto during this time trip to the real world.

The next morning, all the first years are gathered for their real-world experience. They were told to meet in the assembly hall and then taken to Senkaimon. Senkaimon is a giant white gate in the middle of what looks like a large courtyard atop a large tower.

The members of the kido corps are already there. They wore black clothes, sandals and large white masks covering their faces except for their eyes. They stood outside Senkaimon, each on the side of a withered gate. The kido corps is similar to Onmitsukido, very closed. The kido corps, however, are experts in the use of kido and not much is known about their activities.

As the two members of the kido corps performed their chants, the gates began to shine as they prepared their way into the real world. They are designated as the place where only weak holes appear and are the perfect training ground for Konso. A senior student is in charge of about 20 students and Itsuki's group is led by Shiba Aiko, the same girl who appeared to collect them when they first entered the academy.

After saying his part, he started running towards the gate and passed through it. Unfortunately, the four friends were separated into different groups. Itsuki, as a loner, lives alone and never talks to those around him. Unlike before, people never tried to approach him, choosing to keep a distance with him. This is partly due to what happened at the academy and the incident with Sasaki-senpai.

In addition to the plus soul that can roam anywhere, there is a Jibakurei (spirit that is bound to the earth), which is bound to a place and a Tsukirei (a possessive spirit) that is bound to a person. Each of these souls has a chain tied to the chest called a chain of fate.

Shiba Aiko approached one of them and began to comfort her. It was a mother in her mid-forties and she seemed to regret leaving her children. Itsuki could see the chains connected to his chest. Comforting her, she proceeded to take out her fear and lightly touched the mother's forehead with the handle of her sword.

 The woman then slowly disappeared as she was sent to Soul Society. Among the amazed gazes from Shiba Aiko's first year did the same to several other souls before the area was cleared. It seemed that each group designated one area each.

Hollows can be categorized in this way

Demi-Hollows: These are people who are turning into holes after their chains of fate are partially corroded

Low grade Hollow: Hollow that has just been changed

High-middle-class Hollows: Hollows become stronger because of how many souls they eat.

After that comes menos, which is basically the evolution of emptiness when the human soul is not enough to sustain it. So Hollow then decides to cannibalism where a massive mutual devouring occurs which then creates Gillian

Gillian is a large creature that is several floors high and has animal-like intelligence.

 They have their own abilities and are much stronger than ordinary Hollows but are the weakest menos. After that came the Adjuchas who were like Gillian but had a higher level of strength and intelligence. Lastly, there was Vasto Lorde who was the third classification of menos and, by far, the strongest. They were extremely rare and they never really left Hueco Mundo.
