"Have you heard, the captain commander took Minamoto as his disciple"

"Thank you!"

"Captain commander ..."

This was a talk Rangiku could hear around the academy. It was all about Itsuki being Yamamoto's student.

It's been a month since the events in the real world and Itsuki has made a full recovery. Rangiku could barely see her except during class or she came to meet their friends. 

At first Yamamoto used to come to Itsuki to train him because the place was relatively quiet and no other students came to train in the area. However, one day, a passing student noticed them and the news spread.

Itsuki wonders how the student escaped Yamamoto's common sense but realizes that he never cared from the start. So, from then on, more and more students came to take a look until it became a hassle for Itsuki to train there.

Realizing that they would not calm down, Itsuki was transferred to the 1st division headquarters where he could continue to train. Although she is still required to attend classes, Itsuki arrives late and leaves early to avoid intruding students. 

However, he tries to spend time with his friends. Being transferred to the 1st division meant Gin had no roommates, so the academy assigned a new roommate for him. Surprisingly it was a big boy who called him 'stuck'.

His name is Amamaki Ketaro.

 He was very nervous because all the students knew a small group of friends, especially because of Itsuki and Rangiku. What surprised him was that everyone in the group was very friendly. Very quickly he became part of the group, especially as Gin and Rangiku were more open. Yuroe is shy as always and Itsuki is rarely with them, most likely practicing, but if she is, then she will barely speak.

Rangiku worries about Itsuki because sometimes, when he is with her, he will be very exhausted. Even though he did not show it, his eyes gave it to him. He knew that he could not help her at this moment, all he could do was pray for her. He hated this useless feeling.

'I know I can't catch up with you, but at least I want to give you some kind of support'

Gin and Itsuki both applied for early graduation and he didn't want to lose. He took out his wooden sword and went back to training with his friends.

While this was happening, Gin was at his own training ground doing his own training.

"Shoot to kill, Shinso"

Stabbing the target, Gin began slashing with an extended sword creating chaos.

'I'll be stronger'

Seeing the destruction around Gin, the passing students retreated in fear while silently muttering,

"Hyaponzashis"

Gin woke up tired, his narrowed eyes covering his intentions

Division 1 Headquarters, Training Ground

Rangiku's worries are unfounded because, right now, Itsuki is surrounded by a dozen Shinigami. Not a student, a real Shinigami. They are members of the 1st division and are currently training Itsuki.

Itsuki has two wooden swords on either side, holding one in his left hand with his left, while Shinigami has the same wooden sword with different positions.

Hundreds of situations playing on his head all depend on who makes the first move. One Shinigami behind him suddenly moved with an overhead strike that caused Itsuki to turn around and block with her right sword.

This is a kind of signal because all the other Shinigami are moving to attack. Moving backwards, he dodged another sword attack and swept his left sword attacking the guts of the attacker. Using pure Hoho and swordsmanship, he interweaves the Shinigami thoroughly, knocking them down using a two-step method.

Using one move to strike down one Shinigami, he was already on the second step in the middle of the attack as he prepared for the next victim.

In the lower line, Hiten mitsurugi-ryu allowed its user to reach God-speed, with the opponent unable to see the sword attacks caused by the practitioner. This, in the end, is of human standard. 

Itsuki has achieved that and even surpassed it by moving at that speed but still has not fully mastered the technique. Only a few practitioners had surpassed the limits of God's speed, but they had many years of experience and mastered the technique, after all, they were ultimately human.

The training session ended quickly as Itsuki collapsed on the ground with only a quarter of the previous Shinigami surrounding it. Sweat dripped down their faces as they looked at the new students taken in by the captain commander.

What they don't know is that it's not Itsuki who uses all his strength. He was restricted at this rate by pure weight. The weights on his arms and legs were hidden under the training clothes.

Suddenly, Yamamoto appears with a few more Shinigami and instructs them to bring the injured, leaving only Itsuki. As the two are left alone, Chojiro appears with a bucket of cold water and pours it all to Itsuki to wake her up.

Itsuki quickly got up and started running. He never liked this part, but it was still his practice.

He has to use Shunpo, only Shunpo. There is no retaliation. To dodge and retreat when a wave of projectiles is thrown at him. Sensing one approaching, he quickly dodged and was already in the next row.

 The stones that were thrown were not to joke with him as they caused craters here and there while being crushed by the impact. The stones were not the only problem as sometimes ordinary weapons were mixed, ranging from small daggers to cavalry spears. Sometimes for this he had to take a stone blow. It did break some bones in his body.

Itsuki could swear he saw a playful look at the two assailants. Although it was painful, it helped train his senses and intuition while also improving his Shunpo. The only problem was that it continued until he could not stand it anymore, this time, Itsuki fell unconscious with a spear that was directly aimed at him.

As he was about to stab him, an old hand quickly grabbed him and threw him to the side. Chojiro also comes a second later and takes the unconscious Itsuki to take her to the herbal bath they prepared.

They are in a very large enclosed space, similar to the one Urahara had under his shop, or the one Yoruichi had in the soul society where Ichigo got his Bankai. This one, however, was much bigger than them.

Another day came when Itsuki was resting and it was time for the kido practice. This one, he could only study on his own, however, he gained access to many notes about Kidos's experiences and details not found in the academy's library.

For training purposes, the actual hole was brought in and released to attack Itsuki. Chojiro is on standby in case something goes wrong as Itsuki is only allowed to use Kido. He still had a burden as he lowered the holes one by one. For the first part of the training session he was only allowed to use the Bakudo spell as he tried to tie all the holes of the attack.

The second part uses Hado to drop the attacker's hole. Itsuki wants to let go but can't because he has to save Reiatsu and doesn't run out quickly.The burden increases his reiats consumption and when he releases it first here, it's the first time, he is quickly overwhelmed by the hole that causes Chojiro to save him.

Since then he has always tried to use the reiatsu to a minimum and ignore his spells. Although, compared to chanting a spell, it was less powerful, continuing to use it had caused Itsuki to be efficient in using it achieving the same power without a spell.

Lastly, the third part is the barrier and seal. Itsuki is assigned to create a series of barriers and seals to protect him from Shinigami attacks. Shinigami must use their abilities to try and break this barrier. First, he had a certain amount of time to set up a series of barriers and seal around him.

 The Shinigami will attack him and try to destroy him. Once it was broken, he had to stop the attacks coming at him by creating a barrier to defend quickly.

After this was a small break where he would meet his friends before returning and meditating on his sword.

This training will last for 2 days where he will not have classes. Three days of classes, then two days of training followed by one day of rest. During this time Itsuki is strictly forbidden to release its load. His release came on the last day. A discussion with Yamamoto.
