Itsuki was surprised,

'Two weeks'

He never expected that it would take him long just to reach the first two Saber stages.

'Stay, who would have thought'

Itsuki was still shocked to meet Saber within his inner world. He seemed to have a direct connection with his eyes.

Out of his mind, he sees Yoruichi waiting for him as he once again gets up and follows him. Yoruichi, did not let this mistake go, as a playful smile appeared on his face,

"Arara, it looks like you have some problems with your Shunpo. Do you want this older sister to help you?"

Itsuki ignored him while he once again reached the trees. Over the years, he had come to ignore the ridicule and just treat it like an everyday thing. His relationship with the girls was long gone and, including them, even Itsuki had no idea where they were. They have been in contact with each other as sparks appear to fly, especially between Rangiku and Yoruichi.

Rangiku has long since graduated the academy and has joined the 10th division like anime. She expressed interest in joining Itsuki but was firmly rejected by him.

Itsuki knew that the 2nd division was not a place for someone with Rangiku's character, so he was against it. 

It was the same for Gin, he would not let her approach the person who hurt her. Plus, he did not want to show any weakness to her so his request to enter the 5th division was immediately rejected.

Oppressed, he went to the 10th division, whose current captain was someone who was not mentioned in the anime. It seemed like Shiba Isshin had yet to become the captain of the 10th division.

Over the years, Itsuki has had numerous skirmishes with various captains and lieutenants, including future visors and Aizen himself. All of these interactions were short-lived as Itsuki did her job, besides she was still trying hard to defeat Saber of the third stage.

His most prominent interaction was probably with Sarugaki Hiyori when a Shinigami criminal escaped to SRDI Headquarters, the Shinigami Research and Development Institute.

His subordinates were barred from entering the facility and Itsuki was eventually summoned. Coming in front of the facility's entrance, a group of Onmitsukido members were seen standing face to face with a small figure. The figure had pointed blonde hair tied into twin pigtails and brown eyes.

 He was relatively short and wore a standard Shinigami uniform with lieutenant armbands. She has three spots under each eye and long fangs that protrude from the upper left side of her mouth.

He looked extremely angry and started beating up the members as Itsuki approached.

"As I said, there's no one here!"

"But, Lieutenant Sarugaki, we have no choice. The criminal was seen entering the facility"

Before Hiyori could answer, a voice sounded,

"What's going on here?"

"" Commander of the Corps ""

The members immediately knelt down after realizing the intruder was their superior. Hiyori looked up at the newcomer while holding the collar of the Onmitsukido member and the other hand clenched. Looking up, the sun entered his eyes and he could not see the figure in front of him exactly.

"Ma, mom. There is no need to be physical, and, Minamoto-san, you and your subordinates can enter..."

Even before he finished speaking, Itsuki had already disappeared from their sight.

"Oi!!"

Hiyori tried to stop him, but she had lost all traces of him.

"Give up Hiyori-san, she's gone"

Hiyori was gobsmacked at Itsuki's speed as she just stood there in the same position. Turning towards his captain, he saw him just standing there smiling at him,

"Why see me, D*ckhead?!"

Throwing the man he held towards Urahara, he stepped away. Urahara and Itsuki's subordinates were taken aback by the way he acted. Trying to confirm his suspicions he voiced,

"Don't tell Hiyori-san, you're not affected"

"Huh?"

Clearly confused by Urahara's claims, a puzzled expression plastered on his face.

"Are you not looking, Minamoto's face?"

Turning his head to the side he replied,

"No, the sun's in the way"

As if realizing something,

"In hindsight, even the last time I couldn't see his face"

The group had expressions of understanding on their faces when they saw Hiyori's face deep in thought.

"Although, I've heard rumors in the Shinigami women's association..."

"Let's go, I've got him

"

Hiyori just stood there, mouth agape, as Itsuki appeared in front of her, in full view. This time he looked at Itsuki's face perfectly as a slight red hue appeared on his cheek. Itsuki's cold eyes were staring at him. He looked up and his next words let out a tone,

"I'm not interested in children"

Followed by him disappeared.

"What did you say?!"

Not shouting to anyone and not finding anyone to vent his anger, the prey appeared in his field of vision. He only looked at the ridiculous face of his captain while he stared back with an unconscious look.

Running towards him, he jumped up and put both his legs on his face before charging over.

Another important thing was that Itsuki was loaned to the 11th division. Zaraki Kenpachi is not yet a captain and currently Kiganjo Kenpachi is the captain. Although they had never met, Itsuki was returned to the 2nd division just a week later for unknown reasons.

Apart from these episodes, Itsuki's training was not at all smooth. Facing defeat after defeat, Itsuki concludes that Saber is not a great teacher. He realized that he was trying to teach him something from the beginning, but he always died before or when he showed it. 

Since then it has been a year since his first defeat and today it seems the same. It will be the same and when he attacks with that movement everything will disappear and he will wake up.

However, this time the sword did not hit him, but consciousness.

Clarity formed in Itsuki's eyes the moment he sensed something from the sword. Before he thought that disappearing was the end, but he never realized that it was not.

What he needed to feel was the void of the sword itself, the reason for the disappearance of the sword. A series of words appeared in his head as he also swung his Odachi, hitting the Saber katana.

A void covered his heart as he felt his eyes begin to strengthen. 

What followed was that Saber's katana was sliced in half as Odachi then sliced it in half. He once again disappeared into the light spots including his katana as they entered his eyes while yukata similar to Saber's kimono appeared to him.

 The black samurai armor then formed around him with the flag sticking out behind the armor with the emblems of the tiger and dragon roaring each other. There was no skin in sight as she wore the gloves on her hands and she still had her if-tab. Now the only thing he lacked was a helmet and a mask.

Itsuki's current appearance was that of a valiant general who only possessed one place, the battlefield.

Wondering why the armor was incomplete, Itsuki saw a figure in the distance.

'No more'

While thinking this, he saw the figure clearly and was surprised to see someone wearing the exact same armor as him, but with a helmet and mask. The helmet had a crescent moon on it as a decoration. 

Like armor, the helmet was pitch-black next to the mask. It was no ordinary mask; it had a tiger mouth roar sculpted on it. The protruding tooth has a strange luster that gives the impression that it is not at all weak.

The figure was also holding the same Odachi as Itsuki.

Staring at each other, the two disappeared into a series of clashes leading to a protracted fight. Although, it did not end as his victory, he did not lose but rather pulled out long enough until Itsuki was forced out of his inner spirit due to exhaustion.

Out of his meditation, Itsuki looked at the open field around him as he woke up, it is,

"So that's my Bankai"

The final battle with the figure was intense, but he still stuck his sword to the figure. Upon awakening, she realizes that Saber's ordeal is partly related. The first three made him ready and the last one gave him what he needed.

He did not know who the figure was because it did not speak no matter how many times Itsuki tried to start a conversation. It meant that he tried, but never managed to get out the words necessary to start a conversation so that it became six months of long silence.

The night had gone down when he returned to his room. Just entering, an announcement sounded,

"Earth! The emergency! All captains must report immediately to the 1st division barracks. Anomaly has occurred with division 9. Division 9 captain Muguruma Kensei and reiatsu Lieutenant Kuna Mashiro have disappeared altogether. The emergency meeting of all the captains will begin soon. ."

Calculating the time, Itsuki realizes that the hollowfication incident has started because Seireitei got news of the disappearance of Muguruma Kensei and Kuna Mashiro. This also meant that Urahara Kisuke had already sent Mayuri to help the troops.

Itsuki got ready and walked to the main hall of the 2nd division. It was half full as the rest were still getting ready while Soi Fon and they left with Yoruichi as his personal bodyguard. Itsuki did not wait long until Yoruichi and his entourage entered the hall with Yoruichi sitting in his chair.

Sighing in frustration, Yoruichi muttered,

"That damn kisuke, can't stay calm"

After that he disbanded the room by saying that it was not a problem. Only Itsuki, Soi Fon, and Marenoshin were left inside the hall when he started to tell them the complete situation,

"...with 5th division captain Shinji Hirako, 7th division captain Aikawa Love, 3rd division captain Otoribashi Rojuro, lieutenant of the kido corps Ushouda Hachigen and 8th division lieutenant Yadomaru Lisa sent. I have to stay on standby and Itsuki..."

Turning to look at Itsuki, Yoruichi let out a surprised cry

"Wait for Itsuki, your eyes?"

Surprised by the sudden exclamation, Itsuki quickly found a mirror and looked deeply. He still had a handsome face but looked more mature, the same haircut but what was different was his eyes.

His eyes remained the same as when he activated Mystic Eyes. Blue blue pupils with a beautiful pink coating inside. He knew his eyes had been deactivated but for some reason they did not disappear. 

He activated it before disabling it to test everything. He felt no change, but his eyes did seem stronger than before. Concluding that it had something to do when he defeated the third Saber, he let things pass before trying to figure out the change in his own time.

Returning to the main hall, Itsuki just sat down with no intention to explain it to them. He did not want more people to know the secret in his eyes. Knowing Itsuki's intention to not share, they did not talk about his eyes and turned to other topics.

After being dismissed, Itsuki began to reflect on his actions in the future. She doesn't need the Hollow's power because she has her eyes and doesn't see the need to escape with Urahara.

 He is also not close to any other captain so will instead look suspicious, making some more plans for the future, Itsuki brought out a new training regime as he now needed to train his Bankai and find out if any changes were happening. After he finished, he sat down to meditate with the sword on his lap
