The Unexpected Meeting

Ginrei walked towards the oppressed Byakuya as he raised his sword towards him.

"Grandfather, I lost"

"You did. Pretty pathetic"

Ginrei giggled while staring at Byakuya. In front of others, he would have an apathetic face, typical of a member of a noble family, while in front of Byakuya he would be a loving grandfather.

"Eh?"

Byakuya was surprised by his grandfather's merciless comments. As if not paying attention to Byakuya, Ginrei continued,

"I didn't even see his sword; it was too fast"

Sighing softly, Ginrei looked at Byakuya

"You barely moved your sword before it was thrown out of your hand. You didn't even take a step"

The more Ginrei spoke, the more embarrassed Byakuya felt. Trying to deny her grandfather, she turned to him

"But how can a human cat have such subordinates..eh?"

As if catching something he was staring at his grandfather,

"Grandfather didn't see his sword?"

In Byakuya's eyes, his grandfather was a powerful individual, he was the captain of the 6th division for the sake of hell. However for his grandfather not to see the sword meant that in terms of pure swordsmanship, the young man might be on it.

"Who is he?"

"Chair 3 Division 2, Minamoto Itsuki ..."

'Minamoto Itsuki, where have I heard that name?'

"...also personal..wait you don't need to know that"

Hearing this Byakuya was curious as to what his grandfather wanted to say but then simply ignored him. If his grandfather didn't want to tell him then he wouldn't force it.

'I have to beat him next time I see him'

Clenching his fists, determination flashed in his eyes as he picked up his sword.

"I'm going back to training, Grandpa"

'That attack, I'll be able to handle it.'

Recalling the attack only increased his determination as he returned to training.

Ginrei left while staring at his grandson for the last time.

A servant looked up only to look surprised as he looked down.

'His head was really smiling. Is the sun rising from the west today?'

Itsuki was unaware of what was happening, however, he currently had his own problems.

"You're being easy on him, aren't you?"

Yoruichi's questioning face was right before him as he interrogated Itsuki. Sensing Yoruichi's breath, Itsuki maintained her composure while replying

"You told me to destroy it, so I did"

Seeing Itsuki so calm, he felt annoyed for some reason. With a playful smile adorning her lips, she encourages ********* to her.

"Itsuki, would like to visit the hot spring for a more in-depth discussion"

Emphasizing 'thorough' Yoruichi looked on with a hopeful look in his eyes. Itsuki looked towards him and inched closer. A pair of golden eyes and a pair of icy blue eyes were several inches apart

"No"

"Eh?"

"I have a job"

"Eh?"

"I'm going to go now"

Seeing Yoruichi's confused face, Itsuki smiled as she moved away. Yoruichi stood there in a daze, before realizing that he was being played with.

"That's the boy ..."

He also dodged but in a different direction. His voice was filled with annoyance, yet a happy smile was present on his face as he left.

After this episode, the interaction between the two increases until Itsuki regularly takes a bath in a hot spring with Yoruichi. At first, she tries to have it in her private bathroom, but she will only interfere and join him. So, in order to avoid being caught by anyone, Itsuki decided to use the hot spring only.

Although they could hide it, there was one person who was growing suspicious of the way they acted around each other. So the person once tried to follow the two in turns but always appeared empty-handed.

"One day, he'll find out about us"

Itsuki told Yoruichi as he relaxed.

"Yes, who would have thought Soi Fon had such a strong nose"

Yoruichi who in his human form replied. At first, he only teased Itsuki with this form. But it soon became boring because aside from the first time, he could not make her confused like that.

'It looks like it was only because of the surprise that it first succeeded'

He did take his chances once in a while, but it all seemed like an excuse to get close to him.

Itsuki looked at him and knew what he was feeling. He felt like he was just leading the girls with him acting like this. This feeling intensified every time he met Rangiku or his interaction with Yoruichi like now. He felt faint every time he met Soi Fon when he met Soi Fon. 

The meeting would not last long because every time they were close to each other, he would be confused and make stupid mistakes.

The next day, Itsuki was preoccupied with this thought when she got an unexpected visit.

"Yo Kouhai, it seems like something is bothering you"

With a pink kimono covering her captain's clothes, she stood in the doorway of Itsuki's office.

"Let's let this senpai listen to your problem ..."

Shunsui's ears twitched as she suddenly looked at Itsuki.

"It looks like we have friends"

Itsuki also notices the intruder but does not know what to do.

"Let's find a quiet place"

Saying this Shunsui disappeared with Itsuki following him.

A while later, the figure infiltrated Itsuki's face before saying

"Although you're a vice-captain, what are you doing in my division, Yadomaru Lisa"

Yoruichi appears behind the intruder and questions the girl,

Yoruichi let the girl go as he then looked in the direction Itsuki had just left.

Itsuki admires Shunpo Shunsui's abilities. It seemed like he was taking a different approach as he prioritized distance over speed. Whenever Itsuki took four or five steps, Shunsui would only take one step. Stop at the top of the cliff Shunsui sat down to pick up a bottle of sake.

"Want some?"

Itsuki shook her head as she stood beside him.

"Look at your appearance, she looks like a girl"

Itsuki only kept quiet as Shunsui continued

"Mm, this senior has little experience in that field, want advice"

While Shunsui was satisfied with his achievement, Itsuki's words further dropped him,

An imaginary arrow shot through Shunsui

The final arrow pierced through as Shunsui shed tears.

Itsuki stared back at him and grabbed Shunsui's sake bottle.

Not listening to him, Itsuki took a sip causing him to cough as he also sat down,

Shunsui looked confused

"There ..."

Itsuki smiled before gulping down sake again. It seems that his throat is capable of handling alcohol right now.

Standing up, Shunsui retreated before calling Itsuki,

"Let's compete, I want to see how strong my kouhai is"
