The Unconditional Love For My Uncle

The Unconditional Love For My Uncle
Uncle Luke

7 Days Before the Wedding,

Brugh!

"Oh, oh, sorry" said a woman who hit a man in a shopping mall. The woman was so engrossed in her cell phone that she did not notice the way.

He helped the man tidy up the chocolate-colored items and drinks spilled on the shiny marble floor.

"I'm sorry. I was-" the woman was stunned as her two eyes sat on the tall, charismatic man. The sound of his heart began to play music with a very fast rhythm.

The man smiled at him. "No problem. No one was hurt, right? Or are there items tucked away or exchanged?" asked the man while checking the documents and some of his stuff that had been scattered.

The tiny woman's eyes could not take her eyes off the man who was busy checking his luggage.

"Miss?"

The woman gasped. "Ah, yes. I just brought my phone so there's nothing tucked away or switched,"

"Well, excuse me, then" said the man and let the woman stare at his wide back until she disappeared.

He calmed his heart and walked to the basement to find his vehicle.

His hand was still busy holding the mobile phone after he arrived at the car park, as well as his lentic fingers that could not stop dancing on the keypad of the phone bearing the bitten fruit.

The long-haired woman crossed and without realizing it, a car was driving towards her. The car rang its horn quite loudly and made the woman turn towards him.

Suddenly, a man pulled the woman over. Because the pull was too tight, they also fell together.

"Ouch," she screamed at his knees. He looked towards the hand puller.

"You?" ask the woman.

The man grimaced in pain, as both of the woman's elbows rested on him. "Other times, don't play on your phone when you're walking" the man said.

The little lady helped her man to stand up. "I'm sorry, and again, thank you for all your help" he said. The woman's heart pumped blood back up quickly, so it sounded once the sound of her heartbeat.

"Yes, yeah. Go home!" tell that guy again.

Before the sturdy man who had helped her away, the little woman shouted, "My name is Nay, what's your name?"

But unfortunately, the man did not hear Nay's screams or even he pretended not to hear them.

"Well, will you come with me Saturday night?" ask Nay to his best friend.

The man raised his face and looked at Nay's green bead fixedly. His heart was happy when the woman took him out on Saturday night. "Where are you going?" ask Kai in a flat tone.

Nay sits in Kai's front seat and turns around. "My mother was getting married that day. My father asked me to come with his friend's son, and I didn't want to" Nay said.

Kai quickly shook his head. "Sorry, but no,"

Nay looked at his friend in annoyance. "Why?"

Kai breathed a long breath. "If you take me somewhere else, I'll say yes. But I'm no for this one. There will be many bosses coming there. They'll think of me as waitress because I only have this white shirt and my black trousers,"

"That problem, there's no need for you to mess around. I'll help you. So then? Want to, Kai? Please," persuade Nay.

Kai nodded with doubt. "Yes, stop. But you can't go anywhere and have to stay by my side because I don't want to be suddenly pulled to work as a waitress,"

Nay gave his sweetest smile to Kai. "I promise," said Nay while hooking her little finger with Kai's little finger.

Kanaya Rivers is an extraordinary woman and one of the sole heirs of a large company in the country, Rivers Group.

Saturday night is not an ordinary wedding day but a historic day for two giant companies in the country. Merger between Rivers and Wallace Group. Therefore, Otis Rivers, the father of Nay, requires all families to come on that day.

Nay is not a sociable woman, he only has one friend, Kai Fletcher. And Kai is Nay's trash can.

There is nothing in mind to get married immediately, while his father asks Nay to get married immediately. With whoever it is please as long as Nay's future husband comes from a conglomerate family as well. To secure the future, Nay's father said.

Saturday has arrived, too,

That morning, Nay was ready to pick up Kai Fletcher at his apartment.

The apartment where Kai lived was very simple and a little far from the Metropolitan city so Nay left early to pick him up.

Upon arrival at Kai's apartment, Nay does not come down. He took his phone and dialed Kai's phone number.

"Hey, out. I've arrived" Nay said in a commanding tone.

Nay grunting. "Huh! Miss what! Hurry up and wait for you down here!" tukas Nay again then hung up his phone call.

Before long, Kai came and was right what he said. He only wears a white shirt and his proud black trousers.

Nay shook his head looking at Kai's clothes. He asked Kai to drive the car.

"Have the license, right?" ask Nay.

Kai issues Nay a driving license. And he was ready to sit behind the wheel, while Nay was sitting next to him.

Along the way they talked about the genealogy of the Nay family.

"Well, so you're gonna inherit the entire Rivers Group, Nay?" asked Kai dumbfounded.

Nay nodded. "But I don't like it. That's not my forte. I prefer your job," replied Nay.

Kai was aghast at the unexpected answer that came out of Nay's mouth. "Ordinary officers? Hahaha, just change positions with me," said Kai.

"I don't want to either, I'm at a crossroads, Kai, and the two of them will mislead me" Nay continued.

Kai just laughed at his best friend's complaint. Before long, they reached the clothing store. Kanaya chose a few sets of suits and shirts and trousers for Kai, not to forget he added a special set of clothes he wears today.

"Hows it? Kece, right? Just tell me you're from the Dicon Group" Nay said.

"Why can't I say I'm an employee?" ask Kai.

Nay clucked impatiently. "You want to get kicked out? Never mind, just follow my words" replied Nay.

The atmosphere of the wedding party is very crowded even though all that comes are close relatives and families of each bride.

"Hahaha, this is The Next Rivers who will lead the Rivers Group. Nay, come here for a second" Otis Rivers, father of Kanaya Rivers CEO and owner of Rivers Group, said, the only company that gets bigger every year because of Otis' ability to cooperate in various fields to anyone who is calculated.

Nay walked over to his father, not forgetting he was holding Kai who seemed uncomfortable there.

"Dad," said Nay.

Otis glanced at Kai for a moment. "This is my best friend from the North Group, Mr. John North, and this is Mrs. Kaitlyn North, as well as their son, Felix North," Otis said, introducing the North family to Nay.

Nay shook their hands one by one while swinging his head politely.

"They will work with us. I can't wait for that, hahaha. Who's your lovely friend, Nay? Introduce it to us,"

Nay introduces Kai to Otis as well as the North family. "Today, he's Kai Fletcher of the D'icon Group. We've only been close but have known each other for a long time, haven't we, Kai?" said Nay closing his introduction with a smile.

Lord Otis looked at Kai and smiled at Kai.

Before long an MC had opened the wedding. Then, it seems that the bride-to-be of the Rivers extended family, Alma Theodora Rivers, is walking hand in hand with her father. Alma is the younger brother of Nay's father. Otis' relationship with Alma is quite close, as is Alma's relationship with Nay.

That day Alma looked beautiful in a white dress with a sabrina sleeve, she smiled behind the veil that covered her face. When Alma passed by Nay, Aunt Alma waved her hand to Nay and she replied with a cheerful smile.

After Alma reached the altar, Canon In D music was played. A handsome, tall, and dashing man entered the church and walked along the red carpet. The man's smile flashed and continued to look towards the bride.

As the man walked, Nay crossed her arms and covered her mouth. "Huh? That basement guy! It can't be!" inner Nay.

Since their first meeting in a shopping mall, Nay cannot forget the figure of the man he will soon call Uncle.

The sacred promise was made by Alma and the man. Now they officially become a married couple. After the blessing, the two brides sat at the wedding to greet the guests who lined up with them.

When it was Rivers' turn, Nay quickly took his arm off Kai. Kai knitted his eyebrows together and asked what was going on in his heart, so suddenly Nay took off the arm from him.

However, Kai did not bother with it. He follows Nay to climb on the leash and shakes hands with the bride and groom.

Upon arriving at the wedding, Nay hugged his aunt tightly.

"Auntie, finally aunt married too. And what's my uncle's name?" ask Nay.

The man who became Alma's husband smiled and extended his hand to Nay. "This is my nephew? So sweet and a little sloppy, hahahaha! Just call me Uncle Luke," said the man kindly.

Nay shakes Uncle Luke's big hand, Nay's heart continues to race quickly without any desire to slow his beat.

"Hello, Uncle Luke. I'm Kanaya, just call Nay, welcome to our family" Nay replied awkwardly. He was trying to overcome his nervousness.

After getting off the lawn, he looks for Kai. After he found it, he pulled Kai to sit close to him.

"Kai, it's so bad I'm in love with Uncle Luke" whispered Nay without taking his eyes off Uncle Luke.
