See You Again

Ashley William is Luke's ex-girlfriend. Of course Ashley's presence in the midst of Nay's happiness makes the girl burn jealous. Moreover, seeing Luke and Ashley who seemed to still keep the seeds of romance was getting closer every day.

"Nay, when are you going to see the doctor again?" ask Vio to his daughter. "Mama wants to come. Why don't you find a better doctor, a better hospital? Because of that guy?" asked Vio pointing towards Kai.

Nay shakes. "No!"

Vio frowned. "Which one? Don't tell me, you like your uncle! Holy hooch! Then, what about your aunt?"

Nay nodded quickly. "I know, I was wrong. But I don't know how to get rid of this feeling. It was gone but it came up again, Ma. Uncle and aunt are officially divorced,"

"And it's because of you? Wow, what a great daughter Otis Rivers." Vio clapped his hands as if to reward his daughter.

"Before uncle got married to aunt, I met him in a shopping mall and suddenly I fell in love with him. At that time, I asked uncle to get acquainted, but uncle had already left," answered Nay in self-defense, he did not want his mother to judge him negatively and considered him a snatch of people's husbands.

Vio looked at his daughter. "I never thought bad, Nay. But, I think personally, your age with Luke's age is too far away. I prefer that guy over there. What's name?"

"Kai," answered Nay briefly. "I had my doubts about it but after I made sure, I had no feelings of love for him. Maybe, I think of him as a big brother,"

"When are you getting married? Tomorrow or the day after?" ask Vio again. "We have to prepare everything, right?"

"If there are no obstacles, the day after tomorrow. I will prepare everything tomorrow" replied Nay.

That day, Nay's energy was drained. He felt weak, powerless, and sleepy. The girl did not understand what was happening to the system in her body.

"I should be okay, right, Kai? Should I just die, Luke is more concerned with Ashley! What good is that woman besides being healthy? Hmh!" Nay still looked at Luke who was talking to Ashley while occasionally laughing and cheering each other up.

Kai embraces Nay and takes her to rest. "Don't think. You can't die, Nay. Live for yourself and for me,"

Nay's heart pounded again as Kai asked him to stay alive. "If only I could love you, Kai,"

"I know why you can't love me. It's because I'm too handsome and too good, that you don't deserve to be with me. Hahahaha," Kai replied jokingly. The man hopes Nay can distract him and not think too much about Luke.

Nay complies and rests in the room with Kai accompanying him. For some reason, Kai felt something bad was going to happen to the sleeping girl.

"Health, Nay. Don't leave my side, please. Hang on for me" Kai whispered as he accompanied Nay to sleep. His love for the girl is still very big, only he wants to see the girl he loves happy even though she is not with him.

A knock on the door blew Kai's daydream. The man opens the door and Luke goes inside. "What's going on?"

"He's jealous of you, Mr. Wallace," Kai replied.

"Call me Luke, Fletcher. We're friends now, right?" suhut Luke while patting Kai on the shoulder.

Kai nodded. "Alright, Luke. He's jealous of you and Ashley" Kai said.

Luke approached Nay and stroked her hair gently. "He doesn't need to be jealous because my heart is only for him. Why is he still hesitating?"

"Don't get too close to Ashley or any woman, Luke. Nay's condition is not stable, so is his mood. He is more sensitive and will compare with himself. Pay more attention to him, keep next to him," suggested Kai sage. Sometimes he doesn't know where those words come from. All he knew, right now was that he didn't want to lose Nay so, whatever he would do as long as the girl was happy and healthy.

"Is Nay not awake yet?" otis asked Luke. "He hasn't eaten, has he?"

Luke nodded. "Yes, maybe he's too tired. Kai and I always check all his vitals and everything's normal."

"I want to talk to you both. Get Fletcher, let Vio take care of Nay" Otis said.

Unwilling to keep Otis waiting, Luke calls Kai to Nay's room. However, he saw Kai's face looked worried. "It looks like something happened with Nay. He was like this when he was sick. Shouldn't we just take him to the doctor? Or, I'll call the doctor to come here,"

Otis, who heard Kai whispering, immediately came to them. "What's wrong?" ask Otis. "What happened to my daughter? I heard Fletcher's gonna call the doctor. What's up, Fletcher?"

Kai explained his worries to Otis. "Call the doctor now! Vio, please take care of Nay! I'm calling the doctor here right now, tell me that the doctor has come! Luke, Fletcher, I need to talk to both of you!"

Vio came in a hurry, his face panicked, scared, and worried. "What's wrong? What happened to Kanaya?"

"Take him until the doctor comes" Otis replied. After he gets a nod from Vio, Otis invites Luke and Kai to talk about something.

"I know you both love my son and I thank you very much for that. Right now, Nay's condition, as you know, he's sick. Neither me nor the two of you, don't want to lose him, do you? Therefore, allow me to take him to a better hospital until he recovers. You know what I mean" said Otis Long.

Kai nodded in agreement, as did Luke. The answers from the two men made Otis breathe a sigh of relief. "Alright then, I'm relieved. But, I'm sorry before, because I can't take you guys. Let only me and Nay go. Maybe Vio will come with us,"

"Well, if that's what's best for Kanaya, I'll keep waiting here, Tusn Rivers. Since you already know about what happened to Nay, you can give her full support. That'd be better, wouldn't it?" said Kai. He already knew this would happen sooner or later, as long as Nay was in good hands, the man was not worried what would happen with Nay going forward.

Shortly after, the doctor came and examined Nay. "He must be taken to the hospital as soon as possible, I can't check the details here."

"Can we ask for a referral letter? We want to take Nay abroad for further treatment. You've been good, Doctor and the development of Nay in your hands is quite good. But, we want to try better," said Otis, he was hesitant to ask for a referral letter to a kind doctor who has been treating Nay all this time.

The doctor nodded. "Please, Mr. Rivers. I'll send you a referral letter as well as medical records from Kanaya to Mr. Fletcher da-'s email,"

"Send everything to my email, Doctor. Because I'm his father. From now on, I will be responsible for my son not Fletcher" Otis said.

"All right, I'll send it." the doctor replied.

Later that night, Otis takes the unconscious Nay to the airport. The girl was infused to prevent dehydration.

Upon arrival at the airport, Otis hugs Kai and Luke and thanks them. "Thank you so much for everything, Fletcher. May you be willing to wait for my son to come back and play with him when he's healthy,"

"Luke, thank you for that too. Thank you for being willing to love my son up to this point, I hope you will wait for Nay and will still love him" Otis said.

The middle-aged man allows Luke and Kai to say goodbye to Nay before they board the plane.

"Nay, get well soon. After that we will get married. I'll be waiting for you, baby," Luke whispered and dyed Nay's forehead fondly.

As for Kai, he slipped a piece of paper in Nay's fist without anyone's knowledge. "I still need friends arguing. Live, Nay,"
