The Unconditional Love For My Uncle
Between Kai and Luke

The sound of the hospital monitor kept ringing. The nurse walked in and checked on Nay's condition for nearly fifteen minutes.

"How, Sister?" ask Kai. He was alone in the hospital. Shortly after Nay collapsed and was unconscious, almost the young man contacted Otis. But at once, he remembered his promise to Nay to keep this from anyone.

"We wait until the patient is conscious, well, sir," replied the nurse as she walked away.

Kai nodded and turned his head again towards the girl who was currently lying weakly on the hospital bed. "Nay, wakeup. Anyway, why, anyway, you have to keep this a secret?" The man dared to hold the pale and small hand of Nay.

Not long after, Kai felt his hand being crushed by Nay. "Nay, are you conscious? Thank goodness,"

Nay looked at Kai and asked the bespectacled man to hug him. "You know, Kai. Turns out I'm that strong,"

"Stupid! You're so stupid, Nay!" reply Kai tightened his embrace.

"Don't do that. Later if I die, you will be the one who will lose me so much" said Nay again. "Ouch!"

Kai hit Nay's forehead. "Don't talk weird! You're not gonna die, Nay. I'll make sure of that!" The man tried to comfort Nay as well as himself. True what Nay said, if the girl dies, then she is the one who loses the most.

Nay giggles. "I'll fight for you, Kai. You've been so kind to me that I'll risk my life to repay your kindness,"

Kai's face became reddish. "It's stupid. Heal for yourself! Not for anyone else,"

While Kai accompanies Kanaya in the hospital. Someone's looking for that guy. It had been a few weeks since their return, Kai Fletcher had yet to show up as well. Be it in the office or be seen with Otis.

"There is no schedule for Kai Fletcher today, Mr. Wallace," replied secretary Otis Rivers who always stands by at the office.

"All right then, thank you, Van," said Luke. For some reason, since Nay's return, Luke felt something was wrong with the two men. Like they're hiding something. Butwhat? Luke wondered too.

When Luke asks Otis, the middle-aged man simply answers everything is fine and his daughter is indeed close to Kai. Otis also explains that Nay is in recovery so he will rarely go to the office and Kai will help him as long as Nay is still not healthy.

One day, Luke doesn't come to the office. He met Otis at his house. "Good morning, Brother Otis," said Luke.

"Luke, comein. What's the matter with you to see me?" otis asked her to let her sister-in-law in. "You want to meet Alma? Has your mind changed?"

The handsome man smiled as well. "My goal here wasn't for Alma, but for Fletcher. I haven't seen him in a long time? Where is our Fletcher, brother?"

Otis grinned at Luke, who looked neat with a striped shirt and black silk trousers. "Fletcher lately I've been assigned to help Kanaya. He just recovered from his illness so I thought that with Kai there, Nay could be comforted,"

"Why not me?" ask Luke. The man tried his own luck. He already knew what Otis was going to answer, but for some reason, he still hoped for that answer.

"I want Nay to see Fletcher and open his heart to the man. But it turns out, all my plans failed, Luke. My daughter still loves you. He was so stubborn, out of nowhere that stubbornness," Otis replied honestly.

There was a pleasant sigh in Luke's heart as his brother-in-law said so. He also blushed. "I love him too, brother. Ii'm sorry. I've done everything I could to forget it, but just like Brother, I failed" Luke replied. "Can I meet Kai?"

"I'm going to see Fletcher! Excuse me, Sis!" luke was quick and he rushed out of the classic house. At high speed, Luke drove his vehicle to Nay's apartment.

Once there, he immediately entered the security code he had created with Nay. However, it looks like the security code to be able to enter the room Nay apartment has been replaced.

Finally, Luke knocked on the door. "Day! Kanaya, it's me," as he keeps knocking on the door, Luke tries to contact Kai as well.

Not long after, Kai opened the gold handle for Luke. "Mr Wallace, Kanaya is in the hospital,"

Luke poked his head out to see more clearly inside. Kai knows that Kanaya's uncle doesn't believe him. "Please come in if you don't believe me, Mr. Wallace,"

"Can I talk to you?" ask Luke.

Kai nodded. "Yes, please. We can talk on the way, right?"

Luckily, Otis lends his driver to Kai on the pretext of taking Nay to the hospital. In accordance with Nay's instructions, Kai does not allow Otis to visit him in the hospital.

"Tell me the truth, Nay's sick?" ask Luke.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Wallace. Nay forbade me to tell anyone about his illness" Kai replied honestly. The man waits until Nay's condition is better so he can tell what happened to him to Luke and Otis.

"I know he's not okay, Fletcher! Can't you, ... Just tell me, what happened to Nay!" tell Luke. This time, his voice was high.

Just like Luke, Kai insists and refuses to tell the now-fidgety man. "I can't, Mr. Wallace. I made a promise to Nay and I won't break our promise,"

"You want to win her heart, it turns out, huh?" investigate Luke while finely insinuating.

Kai smiled half mockingly. "You already know what my answer is, sir. And Nay chose me to go with him instead of choosing you,"

Luke's face is now hardened. He was not happy with the statement presented by Kai. Just as he was about to reply to Kai's statement, the young man who became his sister-in-law's assistant patted her on the thigh.

"Sorry if I tease you. Until whenever I can never win Nay's heart. He loves you too much and right now his condition is not okay. Of course he needs people he cares about to give him spirit, but right now he just needs me to be by his side" Kai explained. "Both Kanaya and I don't know how much longer he has but, as much as possible, follow all his wishes if he asks you for something and another, I don't know when Nay will take me out of his life but I wish for you to always take care of the woman I love. Treat him well, if necessary. Love and love him more than you love yourself though it shouldn't but I'm really begging you for it."

Kai's long explanation makes Luke think more about what happened to Kanaya? Is it that bad the condition? "What are you talking about, Fletcher?"

"I'm going to take you to see Nay, I think it's time you found out how Nay hangs, actually," Kai replied, he heeding Luke's frightened, worried gaze.

The vehicle arrived at the hospital and a security guard opened the door for them and allowed them to enter.
