"Your words are outrageous, Alma! You call your niece a cheap woman! Where's your heart?" hatch Luke.

That afternoon, Luke receives a video call from Kai's number and as he picks it up, Nay's face appears there. The tall and burly man did not expect that Nay would contact him.

The time difference between them is six hours. When Luke's in the afternoon, Nay's place is late at night.

As they are shedding longs for each other, Alma suddenly arrives and takes over Luke's laptop.

"Day! Why don't you stop disturbing our household! Stop bothering my husband and don't be this cheap woman!" alma Caci. The woman's patience is over. All this time, he could always be patient and hold all his emotions. But this time, he failed.

It was hard to be patient when she heard the longing cry from her husband and niece. His heart seemed to be sliced, especially when he saw his husband and nephew touching each other even though only through the screen, still the pain came.

Luke, hearing Alma's outrageous remarks, slaps Alma on the cheek.

Suppose, you were in my position, what would you do when you see your partner so affectionate with his own nephew!" alma's tears flowed down her cheeks and she made no attempt to hold it back. Luke looked down and was silent. That night, there was only the sound of sobs in Alma's pain. The woman never thought that her marriage would be chaotic and messy just because of the presence of a third person among them.

"No, Nay. No," Kai hugged Nay and tried to join the pain felt by the girl he loved. Nay cries in Kai's arms until he finally falls asleep there.

A few days later, Nay is cheerful again and forgets the pain that made her cry when she remembers her aunt's words again.

So too with Luke. The man did not contact Nay or Kai. Maybe he's waiting for a quiet time to call Kai back. That was what Kai thought at the time.

"Kai, it looks like tomorrow I'm not going to college. I have class tomorrow, but I don't know why I feel so tired today" Nay said one day.

Kai immediately leaves his laptop and approaches Nay to help him bring some of his books. "You're too tired and again your mind is, Nay. All disease comes from the mind. How about we take a vacation tomorrow? A walk? Or shopping like your hobby used to be, you haven't been shopping in a long time, have you?"

The little girl rolled her eyes. "Good idea," and after that he broke his body in a bean chair. "I want to sleep a little, Kai,"

Kai nodded and played a classic Frederick Chopin song called Nocturne Op. No 9. 2. "Sleep, Nay,"

The day began in the afternoon, I don't know how many hours Nay was asleep. Kai was busy in the kitchen preparing their dinner.

"Nay, wake. Eat first after that shower and please go back to sleep" said Kai. But after a few minutes, Nay did not wake up.

"It looks like he's very sleepy. Nay, get up first," this time Kai rubbed gently on Nay's cheek. However, Nay still did not flinch. "Kanaya! Wake, woi!" Kai left his gentle demeanor because Nay never opened his eyes.

Kai frowned, he thought, not like his best friend usually sleeps until like this. If someone calls her name, no matter how well she sleeps, Nay will surely wake up. But this time it's not so.

Before long, he picks up his cell phone and calls the doctor to come to Nay's apartment. Because Kai said Nay's heartbeat was not palpable then, the doctor immediately came.

"How, Doctor?" ask Kai to worry.

"Did Miss Rivers take sleeping pills?" ask the doctor.

The doctor nodded. "So far it's normal. His body was reacting to fatigue. Like getting revenge for his sleeping hours. His body temperature started to rise. I'm giving fever and infusion medicine to make sure your friend isn't dehydrated,"

"So?" ask Kai again, because he will definitely give a report about Nay being sick to Otis.

"Too tired and his body needs rest. I'll wait here until Miss Rivers wakes up" the doctor said.

Kai nodded and made chamomile tea for the doctor who was injecting fever medicine into the infusion tube.

About 40 minutes later, Nay wakes up and calls Kai. The girl was quite panicked when she saw that her hand was already wrapped around the infusion hose. "Kai! Kai! What'sthis?"

Kai immediately approached Nay along with the doctor. "You'll be fine, Nay. The doctor said you fainted in your sleep because you were too tired,"

"Doctor? Why is there a doctor? Why was I infused?" nay asked half crying.

The doctor came and calmed Nay down. "Your body demands revenge, Miss Rivers. They ask you to rest. I'm giving you an infusion because since noon, no liquid has entered your body,"

Suddenly, Nay's nose was flowing with fresh blood. Nay screamed hysterically. "Kai! This what?" nay's cry broke from seeing the blood coming out suddenly.

"It's a high fever reaction, miss. This is a normal reaction" the doctor said again and compressed Nay's nose using ice gel.

"Fever?" ask Nay. His hand held his sweaty forehead.

The doctor and Kai nodded at the same time. "That's why, I told you not to think too much!"

The doctor laughed at Kai's speech and he said goodbye after explaining the wasted medicine and vitamins that must be consumed by Nay.

Kai made sure Nay ate a lot and took the medicine and vitamins given by the doctor. "Your information is valid for the next 12 hours. In it there is iron, zinc, and fever medicine. 1 bag must be depleted,"

Nay pursed his lips in annoyance. "Ah, fine! Don't tell my dad or Luke! If you break your promise, I'll kick you out!"

"Yes, now eat!" reply Kai. "Nay, hopefully get well soon," Kai kissed Nay's head in love.
