The Unconditional Love For My Uncle

The Unconditional Love For My Uncle
Heart-busting

"He'll be in pain every night. He's gonna be sick and vomiting, and he's gonna have bad days all day, too" Kai tells Luke that night he volunteered to look after Nay.

"Then, what should I do?" ask Luke. At that time they were waiting for Nay chemotherapy.

"There is nothing but comforting and listening to all his grim grievances" Kai replied. "His shout will be amazing, so will his cry. Raise his heart, lest he be weak. That's what you have to do, Mr. Wallace,"

Luke nodded, trying to understand Kai. Ready not ready, he must be ready. Because this is what he will face if he continues to choose Kanaya after the divorce process later.

"May I ask?" kai asks, the man invites Luke to wait for Nay at a cafe inside the hospital. "Are you really sincere in love with Nay? Even though the condition is like this now? I mean, you have no plans, ah, I'm sorry before. But, you're not gonna leave him, are you?"

Luke grunting. "Stupid! You ask or make sure? I love him, Fletcher. Whatever happens to him later, I'll stay and stay for Nay,"

"What do you expect? I mean, if we see Mrs Wallace, you can just leave her. My fear is the same as that of Mr. Rivers, we are afraid that you will only play tricks on Kanaya's heart" urged Kai. He was not satisfied with Luke's response.

"I expect Nay's healing and happiness, of course. What do you mean ask like that, Fletcher?" squeeze Luke sharply.

This was what Kai was afraid of from the man who was sipping coffee in front of him. Kai is only afraid that Nay will get hurt considering that Nay loves his uncle very much. However, no one knows if Luke is a jerk or not?

"Ah, it's done," said Kai. She quickly approached Nay's chemotherapy room and spoke to the doctor. "How, Doc?"

"It's still the same as yesterday, but I have good news. The abnormal cells in his body have stopped spreading, that's what we have to keep. Do not let the evil cells attack the important organs" replied the doctor.

After the doctor leaves, Kai approaches Kanaya who seems to be getting weaker. "Howdy, girl?"

Nay smiled. "What do you see?"

"You look great, as always, Nay," Kai replied as he clasped Nay's small hand and linked his fingers there.

Nay grunting. "Huh! The wild! Is my uncle still here?"

Kai nodded his head and pointed to a man carrying a large female superhero figure doll who had just passed through the door."He insist. So tonight, I can leave you alone with your uncle. Is that okay?"

"Hi, Nay. How are you?" luke asked, he gave the doll to Nay. "You are him, Nay. Strong, beautiful, and not giving up easily,"

Nay smiled weakly. "Thank you, Uncle," said the girl. "Kai, when can I go home? I miss my dad,"

"I'll ask the doctor. If I think it's better, you're being honest with your father, Nay." Kai proposed, helping Nay move into a wheelchair.

Luke took over the wheelchair and pushed it. "Just me, Fletcher,"

The two of them finally work together to push Nay in his wheelchair.

"Not yet, Kai. I told you my dad would be in shock. If I could go home, I'd go to the salon to buy fake hair, I'd get dressed, and I'd buy new clothes, so I'd look good in front of my dad" Nay replied.

While chatting, Kai takes Nay for a walk in the hospital garden while feeding Nay a piece of sandwich and almond milk. Only in this way, Nay was able to swallow his food.

"Sister" said Alma after knocking on Nay's bedroom door.

"Alma, come in" replied Otis. The old man got out of Nay's bed and sat on the bright pink sofa in the room. "What's wrong?"

Alma seemed shy to tell a story after seeing the condition of her brother who was concerned. "How are you doing Kanaya?"

Otis shook his head weakly. "I don't know. It was Fletcher who always told me about Kanaya and she always said that Nay was okay. He sent me some pictures of Nay, but somehow my heart was uncomfortable before I met Nay in person" Otis' voice choked, his eyes looking out the window.

Alma felt bad because she had just met her nephew and Nay's condition at that time did not seem okay. "May Nay be well, brother. I always pray for his health and happiness,"

Otis' tears couldn't be contained anymore, he cried as he pleased. "My son,"

After being satisfied with crying, Otis invites Alma to continue their conversation in the family room. "What are you doing here? Where's Chloe?"

"Chloe's with Nanynya because I'm afraid I'm gone too long" replied Alma. He didn't know how to start the story he was going to tell.

"Don't leave your child too long. Spend time with her before you regret as I do now. I just realized, the time I had given was not much for Nay. I used to be too busy with my business until suddenly Nay was this big" Otis said with a glaring gaze. "To be honest, I was relieved when Nay broke up, meaning I still had the pleasure of spending time with him. But right now, he's engrossed in his own life,"

Alma breathed her. "No matter how old Nay is, brother. Brother can't manage it anymore. Especially about love,"

As if awakened by something, Otis looked back at his sister. "I know. He chose the wrong love. How's your relationship with Luke going? Can't mediate just yet?"

"I'll accept the divorce, brother. If this is the best way for us, what can we do, right?" answer Alma. After he thought carefully about this divorce, he was sure, divorce was indeed the best path for the two of them. Luke says, If this marriage continues to be forced, they will only hurt each other.

"It's time I learned to love myself. Maybe Luke and Nay are a match" Alma said. "Luke loves our Kanaya very much, Brother. Just this time I saw him so stubborn for his love. I haven't seen Luke like that in as long as we've been dating. That's why I'm sure Luke will always love Nay,"

Otis exhaled and looked the other way. "I haven't thought about that. I feel like at any time, I can't break up their relationship. Kanaya deserves a much better man than her former aunt."

"If they love each other? No problem, right?" alma asked to convince.

Shortly before Otis answered the question posed by Alma, the woman's phone rang. A message came in from the lawyer who handled the divorce case.

Alma read the message in disbelief. He kept repeating the words written in the message.

"What's up, Alma?" asked Otis worried.

"Sister, this can't happen but it's happening!" answer Alma.

"What do you mean?" Otis asked back.

"Luke has dropped his divorce lawsuit!" alma replied still in disbelief. "I'd better see Luke now! I'll tell Brother what happened. Give Nay my regards if he calls later,"
