A man sits in front of his laptop, twirling himself in his chair. The man looked at a picture of a woman on his computer screen.

"Kanaya, why do I like you? You rejected me twice, Miss Rivers. Twice. All my life, I have never experienced a woman's rejection, but you dared to reject me twice! Whoa, hahahaha! It's amazing" Felix said. He snapped his finger at the computer screen.

After the umpteenth time that morning he looked at a picture of Kanaya, he got out of his chair.

"Dad, did Mr Rivers decide about the wedding?" felix asked as he joined his parents for breakfast together.

While dabbing his wheat bread with jam, Mr. North frowned. "Otis hasn't contacted me about it. But there's something I want to ask you, are you serious about Mr Rivers' daughter?" mr. North asked, recalling Felix's imprint as a Female Heart Player by reporters.

"Maybe Mr. Rivers' daughter already knows your mark on the world of romance, so she deliberately postponed her daughter's marriage until you repent" Mrs North said. "Have you read about your news spread on social media? It was written clearly, 'North's High Priest Caught Wet Being Drunk With 2 Women'. I don't think it's appropriate to lose the news like that, and then think about marrying Otis Rivers' daughter!"

Both Mr. North and Felix fell silent listening to the orders of Mrs North.

"Kaitlyn, sometimes the news likes to be exaggerated. I mean, don't be so trusting in what's written on social media, let alone where the news is not yet clear" Mr. North said in defense of his son.

Mrs North's deathly gaze made her son and husband instantly silent. "I don't believe those news stories just there's no harm, are we careful in our actions? And this is not just one or two times but often!" This time Mrs North stared intently at Felix. "Every parent will always take care of his daughter, as well as Otis Rivers. Moreover, Kanay Rivers is the only daughter as well as the leader of Rivers Group. It's only natural that they don't approve of this marriage right away,"

"Yes, Mom. I'll remember Mommy's words because it looks like I'm in love with Kanaya Rivers right now" Felix explained.

Like a tipper, Mr. North's cell phone rang. One message came in on the cell phone with the apple and Mr. North immediately opened the message from the Sender.

"Oh, this is Otis! He invited me to meet! I hope he'll talk about your marriage" said Mr. North. His eyes looked at Felix who was looking at him with a look of anxious expectation.

"Don't expect too much, John. Just meet him and find out what he wants to talk to you about" Kaitlyn replied, coldly.

"Yes, honey, I won't expect much first" replied John obediently.

John's meeting with Otis lasted quite a long time. Kaitlyn's conjecture turns out to be true, Otis isn't talking about marriage but he's talking about the company's long-planned cooperation.

John also ventured to ask about the wedding when their chat began to relax. "Brach, Otis! How's Kanaya doing? It seems like I haven't seen your daughter in a long time and you haven't told me about your beautiful daughter, either,"

Otis smelled his smile. "I forgot to tell you that I was once again forced to postpone our children's marriage" Otis said. "A few weeks ago because he told me that he wanted to continue his studies to deepen his business knowledge. You know, right, if Kanaya is officially the leader of the Rivers Group right now? So, I sent him overseas to continue his studies maybe in about 1 to 2 years he'll just be back here,"

"Well, too long, Dad? Was my son not waiting too long for him? I mean, during the semester break, he can come back here to have a wedding after that because he can continue his studies back there. What do you think of my proposal, Otis?" ask John North.

Otis chuckles. "Hehehe, if Felix is really in love with Kanaya, he'll be waiting for my daughter, John. 1-2 years, won't be long,"

In the end, John tells Felix his son about Kanaya who is currently abroad.

"I'm going to see Mr. Rivers" Felix said. He immediately rushed to Mr. Rivers' place to meet Otis.

Upon arrival, Kailah received Felix. "What's the need for Mr Rivers?"

Acting important, Kai stretched out his hand. "I? Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Mr. Fletcher. For now, I'm Mr. Rivers' right-hand man,"

"So, please don't waste my time. Can I meet Mr Otis Rivers?" asked Felix again, his face began to look irritated.

"I'll let you know, please wait" said Kai, rushing to meet Otis to give Felix North a message.

Otis frowned. "Felix North? Without her parents?"

"Rubber, Sir. He came alone" replied Kai.

"Send him in. I wonder if there's any need for the young man to see me?" sahut Otis again.

Kai bends his body and then he calls Felix to go inside Otis' office.

Before long Felix entered and revealed the purpose of him coming to the place.

"What's? So you want to find out about Kanaya?" ask Otis..

Felix nodded. "Yes, Sir. Because it looks like Kanaya has changed her old phone number and I kind of lost track of her,"

"I changed Kanaya's phone number for a reason. Ah, before that, why do you want to call my son?" otis asked as she sipped her coffee. Otis also offered Felix orange candy. "It's my favorite candy, hehehe,"

Felix nodded politely. "Later, thank you. To be honest, I wonder why because she always refused to marry me. All my life, I have never experienced rejection. It was the woman who always came to me even some of them begged to be my lover. But not with Kanaya, she's very different from most women, sir. He makes me curious,"

Otis laughs proudly but then he is made aware by the fact about the reason Kanaya refused his match with Felix. "Yes, that's how Kanaya is,"

"Then from that, I'd like to ask your permission to approach with your daughter. It's possible that if I slowly approach him, he'll open his heart to me" Felix replied.

The half-bald man who was poking at the orange candy also nodded. He does hope that his daughter is able to forget Luke and with the help of Felix, it is possible to notice Kanaya will be distracted by the presence of Felix.

Otis sends Kanaya's mobile number to Felix via message. "I hope you didn't leak Kanaya's new number to anyone else. Not even your parents, don't!"

Felix's face was beaming. "I promise, Mr. Rivers. Suppose, I change my mind and want to catch up with Kanaya there, would you allow me?"

"Please, Mr. North," Otis replied again with a meaningful smile.

After Felix's departure, Otis calls Kai to meet him. "He was Kanaya's future husband. I gave the young man access to get in touch with my son. Same asyou. Compete with you two and conquer my daughter's heart,"

Kai clenched his hands together and stared intently at Otis who was now smiling at him.
