I Love You, Uncle!

After spending the rest of the holiday crying, Kanaya was preparing to resume her studies. However, there was one thing that stuck out Otis' heart. "Why should Kai come? Papa can accompany you, Nay!"

"I don't want to! How can I tell Papa about everything. Just say for example I miss someone and I can't tell Papa, '" replied Nay. "I won't be until 1 year because I'm a smart student so I can finish my studies quickly."

Otis looked at the princess only wayangnya unwillingly especially when Kai went inside with a suitcase in his hand. The man was dressed in thick clothing complete with a thick fur jacket with a wide hood. "I'm ready. It's cold in there, isn't it?"

Nay and Otis shook their heads together while unceasingly clucking. "Ckckck,"

"I admire your spirit, Young Man. Come here for a minute, I want to talk to you!" otis's word to Kai follows Otis as a kitten.

They went into Otis's study. The aging man placed his tailbone onto the brown padded sofa and relaxed his legs. "Sit down and listen to me!" Kai complies and sits opposite Otis. "I want you to really keep my son there. Don't interrupt his study time and keep working,"

"Okay, Mr. Rivers. Ready-to-do!" kai asserted ala-ala military.

Otis' index finger was pointing towards Kai. "I don't need your promise but I need proof and reality. I need to see that, Kai." said Otis loudly. "One more thing, I want you to really help Kanaya to forget Luke!"

"After that, I hope you are not surprised that your daughter will be infatuated with me and will ask me to marry her" Kai said with a big grin. He was happy to tease the man who was over half a century old.

A wide smile that featured a row of white teeth of Otis was imprinted on his face. "What are you talking about, Fletcher? Felix North just got rejected, let alone just a Kai Fletcher,"

"Don't underestimate me, Old Man. I I'm not from a family of conglomerates or a top businessman but I have something that Felix North doesn't have: principles. I hold onto my principles very firmly," Kai replied without leaving his smile.

Otis grunted violently. "Huh! Huh! Principles are just like love, he is not edible" he mocked.

"If you do not have principles in trying then your business will go bankrupt and fall just like that, right? Similarly, in a love life, if you don't have principles then you will be abandoned by love" Kai said. He would gladly take the time just to argue with Luke.

But unfortunately, the sound on the door knock made the two humans aware that they were going to chase the flight clock.

"Kai, come!" nay's orders are just sticking his head into the room. The girl could see Kai's thumb lifted up from behind the door.

After Nay closed the door of the room, Kai walked with definite steps toward Otis. The man whispered, "My principle is, help Nay and make her like me" Kai grinned widely. "We say goodbye, Mr. Rivers,"

Since his last encounter with Nay, Luke has felt something is stirring his heart. He thought, Otis always told him and Nay about them. Meaning, there was a misinformation conveyed by Otis. Is that a coincidence?

The man lay down on the sofa and closed his eyes with his burly arms. Why would Nay assume that Otis is in love with Alma again? Uh, Chloe!

Luke moved from his lying position and grabbed the phone on the table. He contacted Nay, but there was no reply from the girl.

"Has he left?" ask Luke monologue. The burly man grabbed his suit and ran to the parking lot to pick up his vehicle.

His hand did not stop holding the phone, he kept trying to contact Nay. ""Come, Nay. Answer my call!"

Since there was still no answer, Luke contacted Kai. Luckily, Kai answered his call. "Fletchers! Fletcher, are you with Kanaya?" ask Luke.

At that time, Kai and Nay were on their way to the airport. Kai glanced at Nay who was asleep. "Yes, I'm with him, Mr. Wallace. But he's asleep. It's been a few nights since he's been sleep-deprived, so I'm sorry I couldn't wake him up,"

"Wait me! You guys are at the airport, right? Please, Kai. Wait for me," Luke pleaded. Before the girl he loves leaves, he wants Nay to know how Luke really feels. He won't let Nay go with a misunderstanding.

Kai looked at Nay for a moment, after which he exhaled a rough breath. "Well, I'll tell Nay and we'll wait for you,"

"Thanks, though,"

Kai doesn't know what Luke wants to talk about. He regretted his words, why did he have to say that they would wait for him? "Aarrggh, stupid!" rutuk Kai slowly.

As their vehicle stabilizes again, Kai gently kisses Nay's head. "I love you, Nay,"

Upon their arrival at the airport, Kai invites Nay to cover at a donut and coffee shop. "Nay, accompany me! What time is it we're flying?"

"An hour more. We have to board. Where you going? I'm hungry" replied Nay.

"There," replied Kai and pointed to a donut shop whose donuts were already smelling from where they stood.

The two of them finally decided to follow the fragrance of the donut. "Don't be long, Dad. I'm lazy to buy another ticket" Nay said.

Kai nodded and ordered one box, cinnamon donuts for Nay and mint donuts for himself. I forgot to buy coffee for both of them. When finished, Kai returned with a big box of donuts.

"You want a party? There's a lot of it" Nay said, taking a cinnamon donut and biting it. "Yuk, while walking,"

"Nay, someone wants to see you" said Kai. He didn't know how to tell the girl who was eating cinnamon doughnuts that Luke wanted to meet him.

Nay's eyebrows seemed to merge. "Who?" Nay glanced back at his watch. "Hey, come! We have to board! Just bring us our coffee and donuts! Shit, I'm still hungry!"

They both ran and dragged suitcases. For some reason, Nay refuses all the facilities given by Otis when he wants to go back to college. That's what keeps Otis feeling guilty.

Meanwhile, Luke spurred the speed of his iron wheel to make it faster. He keeps in touch with Kai through messages and just sends a message saying they have to go to the boarding pass.

As soon as he arrives, Luke leaves his car and runs towards the departure door Kai has told him about.

Luke stops and calls Kai. "Kai, where? Not in yet, is it?"

("Not yet, but we're waiting in line to get in. Hurry on! We're at Gate 2") Kai replied.

Luke's eyes swiveled quickly looking for a sign, a crossbar or anything that read Gate 2. He walked like a dazed person while squinting his eyes. Luke no longer cared about his sweat-soaked clothes.

Before long, his eyes widened and he ran back as soon as he saw a black board with gold inscriptions that read 'Welcome To Gate 2'

Luke saw a pretty long queue. "Why are all girls dressed similarly?" inner Luke's desperate.

In the midst of his despair, he shouted, "Nay! KANAYA! Nay!"

"Uncle?"

"Mr Wallace!" Kai waved his hand at Luke. Then, he pushed Nay out of line. "See your uncle for a second, Nay,"

Luke approached Nay and hugged him tightly. "I won't let you go with a misunderstanding between us,"

"Misunderstand what? Why is Uncle here?" Nay's heart is racing to get out. He did not understand what his uncle was talking about.

Luke held the niche of Nay's neck with both hands and scooped Nay's soft lips. "I can never forget you, Nay. I thought that if I lied to my feelings, I'd be able to calm down and let you go, but it made me remember you even more" Luke said, and he kissed Nay again. "Everything from your father about us, I think is excessive. Your father put too much spice into his information. Chloe's not my real daughter, we adopted her. I got in touch with Alma on your wedding night. That was just one time and that's when all I had in mind was you, Nay,"

Nay's tears came back. He swore to leave and forget Luke. But now, the plan is in disarray. She smiles. "Why is the universe always this joking, huh? I appreciate Uncle's feelings, but I promised someone to forget Uncle. But I still love Uncle so much to this day,"

The plane's announcement is about to take off, leaving Nay distracted. He stood on his tiptoes and kissed his uncle. "I have to go, Uncle. Be happy with my aunt and cousin. Give my dear greetings to them," said Nay taking off his kiss and turning towards Kai who was waiting for him at the entrance. "I love you, Uncle and I always do,"
