A few days later, Nay was in control and hospitalized.

"Well, some of his abnormal cells are gone. Maintain your condition, Miss Rivers. If your condition continues, we can reduce your treatment schedule to once a week" said the doctor was amazed.

Congratulations to you, Miss Rivers," the doctor shook Nay's hand and all who delivered Nay that day.

"Papa, I want to go home with Kai" Nay said.

Luke and Otis stop. "God! Fletcher, what vehicle do you have?"

"Motor, Mr. Rivers," Kai replied, looking down. "Go home with your father, I'll go to your house."

Nay shook his head. "I want to ride a motorcycle, not a car. It's been a long time since I've been riding a motorcycle with you,"

Kai looks at Otis and Luke in turn, asking for their approval to drive Nay home. "Go! Don't drive your bike more than 40km/h! Make sure my son stays warm!"

"Ready, Mr Rivers! Thank you for your trust," Kai replied. As per Otis' instructions and request, Kai put on a thick jacket to Nay. To keep the beautiful girl warm, Kai wears a knit hat and gloves.

"We're not in the snow, Kai. I'm overheated" protested Nay.

Kai, who was focused on putting a mask and helmet on Nay, replied, "Just wear it, or I'll give you money to take a taxi,"

"okay!" silence Nay. She knew Kai would be that close and that hard on her. Nay's goal in wanting to go home with Kai is actually that he wants to make sure of something.

A few nights earlier, Otis had entered Nay's room and saw the wishlist the girl had arranged. At that time, Otis asked Nay, who does he want to marry, Luke or Kai? Marriage is on Nay's fourth list. So, if he wants to get married soon, at least he already knows who he wants to marry.

Lately Nay's feelings have been tossed around. His heart is divided in two, between his uncle or his best friend. As he already knew, Kai was always by his side and was always ready to help and comfort him. Kai could make his heart flutter.

That's what he felt when he was with Luke. It's just that, when he's with Kai, he can be himself and if he's with Luke, he can be spoiled.

"Kai, come by somewhere!" nay screeched, his voice slightly tightened as they were on the bike.

"Where?" ask Kai. "Your father asked me to take you straight home! We're going straight home!" firmly Kai.

"My father didn't say that! All right, just go to my apartment! Turn!" tell Nay again.

Kai clucked and turned. He complies with Nay's wishes just because the girl is sick. Before long, they arrived at Nay's magnificent apartment.

Kai enters and breaks his spine on the pink sofa inside the apartment. Nay Apartment is dominated by pink and gray. Except Nay's room. The girl chose the colors cloud blue and white on the grounds that the colors could calm her down.

"You need to take medicine and eat. All your medicine and food is in your house. What are we here for anyway, Nay? How ridiculous!" ask Kai. The bespectacled man was upset that he did not want anything to happen with the girl he loved.

"I want to make sure of something" Nay replied, sitting next to Kai.

"What do you want to make sure?" ask Kai. "Ah, tomorrow you want to do your wishlist, right? Don't go home late at night and eat!" Kai got up from the couch and walked to the freezer. He was looking for something he could eat for the two of them.

Nay pouted and approached Kai. The girl sat at the dinner table and watched Kai pacing back and forth, looking for this, and began to prepare the cooking ingredients. "Yes, my number one list is that I want to shop all day and eat well for an entire day. The doctor already allowed me to do that,"

"Yes, Nay. Yes," said Kai, he started sauteing garlic and pepper and another hand, steaming a piece of chicken.

"Kai!" call Nay.

Kai did not reply, he was really focused on what was in front of him now. This is one of Kai's traits that Nay dislikes. The girl stood up to Kai, and hugged the man's slender waist.

Just shake, Kai stood there. "N-, Nay? Your hands,"

Instead of moving away or letting go of her hands, Nay tightened her arms and laid her head on her back which turned out to be quite wide.

Kai felt bad, but at the same time he enjoyed Nay's touch on his waist. "You tired?" ask Kai.

The man slowed down his movements and now he felt Nay's head roll on his back. "No, I told you, I want to make sure of something,"

Once the food is ready, Kai releases Nay's handrails and he twists his body so they face each other. "What do you want to make sure? Your feelings? Your liver? You're in love with me, aren't you?"

Kai's teasing and half-mocking smile somehow made Nay's heart flutter. He shrugged his shoulders. "You're not good-looking, you're not tall, you're not my ideal guy, either, but why are you always in my brain lately, Kai?"

Kai pretended to think. "Hmmm, why yeah?" The man was now busy going back and forth from the kitchen to the dining table, preparing food for the two of them. "Eat first, yuk, Nay,"

Submissively, Nay walked over to the man who was already sitting on the dining chair. He held the man's cheeks and locked the man's chocolate bead that was now in front of him.

Slowly, Nay brought her face closer and kissed Kai's lips gently. After letting go of the kiss, Nay's face turned red. "What am I doing! I'm crazy, Kai! I'm crazy!"

"Oh, how do you make sure it's like that? Wrong, Nay! Here's how," Kai pushed the niche of Nay's neck and swept his lips as gently as possible over Nay's lips. For a moment, he waited for a response from the girl who was currently inside his pawn. A few seconds later, without hesitation, Kai deepened his gaze and played it softly.

"Ehem, how does it feel?" asked Kai grinned widely.

Nay kept looking at him. His face was like a boiled crab now. "A-I don't know. Come on, we'll eat and go home,"

"I never forced you to return my feelings, Nay. Pursue your own happiness. I know, you doubt for a moment. But I guess, it's just because we're close lately. Do not hesitate any more. I've already handed you over to Luke Wallace" Kai replied with a sincere smile.

Hearing Kai's reply, Nay hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Kai. Thank you very much,"
