The Unconditional Love For My Uncle
The Painful Meeting

Two separate tables with eight pairs of eyes that sat tensely adorned a restaurant that afternoon.

An awkward atmosphere enveloped the table. How not, Nay comes along with Kai while Luke comes with Alma and their little girl.

At first, Nay comes first and asks Kai to sit in a chair a bit away from Nay's chair. Shortly after, Luke arrives with his entourage.

Kai is shocked to see Luke coming with Alma and Chloe. He immediately approached Nay to give him strength.

Unfortunately, Luke approached her. In the end, here they are. "Nay, how are you?" aunt Alma asked, extending her hand.

"I can't say that I'm okay and I'm sure Bibi already knows what's going on between me and uncle" Nay replied straightforwardly.

Alma admired the decisiveness of his nephew's reply. "Yes, I already know your relationship and I also know your purpose in coming here to end your relationship, right?" Alma said that sentence with a meaningful smile.

Nay had already been training to hold back his emotions in this day so he looked cold and as if he did not care about what Aunt Alma said. "Eitherway. That depends on uncle, right?" nay replied trying as calmly as possible. "Now, can I just talk to Mr. Wallace alone?"

"Please, me and your cousin will be waiting at the table there," Alma said, stressing the cousin's word so that Nay is aware of Chloe's presence.

Nay looked at the little boy who was nibbling on the rice cake and greeted him as if Chloe was the girl of her age, "Oh, hi. Hello, my name is Nay. What's yourname?"

"Chloe," replied Alma shortly.

Kai leads Alma away because he knows soon, Nay will explode because his emotions seem to be at the top of his head. "Come, Mrs Wallace,"

Alma was about to reject Kai's invitation, but as soon as she saw the look in her nephew's eyes that was already on the verge of tears, she undoed her intentions and followed Kai. However, Alma would not have the heart to see the girl he had raised crying.

"Darling, Chloe and I are waiting for you there" Alma said and kissed Luke on the lips. Luke nodded and then he sat opposite Nay.

The leaflet was still there as Luke looked at Nay. That handsome guy doesn't know how to get rid of that shit. He did not even dare to look into the green eyes of his nephew anymore, he was afraid that what he had planned was falling apart.

"Ehem, I saw the news about you, Nay," said Luke opening their conversation.

"You were there, Uncle and saw me running. I was half hoping, you'd come after me but even calling my name wasn't so I thought I had no hope anymore" Nay replied. His green bead stared fixedly at Luke's black bead.

Luke's down. Lying that he had forgotten about Nay, the feeling for the girl was still there and still very big. When Otis first tells him about Nay's relationship with Felix, there is a hole in his heart that is gaping wide.

Luke's emotions peaked in remembering that. Why now, Nay put on a weak face as if he was the one at fault? "I thought I had no hope anymore, Nay. Your father told me about your relationship with Felix and it hurt my heart. For one month I was on my honeymoon with your aunt, I kept our promise,"

Kai closed his eyes as he heard Nay's sobs. It felt like he took the girl's hand and took her away from here. But he held back his desire. Nay has to forget Luke and get his life back together.

Once in a while, Alma sticks her head out at the table where Luke and Nay are sitting. The woman could not resist her curiosity either. He looked at Kai and asked him to speak. "What are you planning?"

"We? We're not planning anything but me to help Nay forget Mr. Wallace. That's all," Kai replied bluntly.

Alma underestimated Kai's answer. "Huh, just to forget whether to meet many times this question mark is tantamount to wasting our time, right? If indeed he intended to forget my husband, it would be easy, he would have to really intend and that intention came from within,"

"Did Madam ever feel love clapping one hand? Or when the Madam can't love the one who loves the Madam too and you can't be united just because of circumstances? Nay wouldn't have cried until his tears had run down the river if it wasn't that sick. Didn't Madam take care of Nay? Alma gasped at the answer from Kai that she had not expected before. Perhaps just like Otis, Alma considers Kanaya to be the sole heir of the Rivers Group. They forget the fact that Nay is his brother's son and nephew who can feel heartbreak or pain.

Meanwhile at the table next to them, Nay and Luke are still trying to come to terms with each other's circumstances.

"Remove your tears, Nay," said Luke, giving one of his tissues to Kanaya whose tears were still pouring out and who was about to wet the clothes she was wearing.

"I won't wipe away my tears, so Uncle knows the pain I'm experiencing right now. Let them flow, because these tears contain my memories with Uncle and I hope that after this day is over I can forget Uncle forever" Nay said. "I want to ask Uncle something, how did Uncle forget about me? And how can you love Aunt Alma again?"

Luke swallowed his saliva. To be honest, she is not in love with Alma anymore and she has not forgotten about Nay at all. Luke feels there is a misunderstanding between them and maybe this is caused by Otis who always delivers the latest news about the condition of both of them.

"Nay, I can never forget you because you're the only girl who can make my world turn upside down more than anyone. If you say right now I'm forgetting you it's a lie. I can't forget you just that I have to carry on with my life. I have a wife and sa-,"

"I know. Uncle always loved Aunt Alma" Nay cut.

"Listen, Nay, I just want you to be happy and find someone who can really love you more than I love you" Luke said. Luke's mind is currently filled with only one Nay. It felt like hugging and kissing the girl in front of him.

"If Uncle wants me to be happy then divorce Aunt Alma and live with me. That was my only request to uncle from the very beginning we started this relationship but Uncle never granted my wish" Nay said. "After this I will return to continue my studies. Maybe when I get there I'll cut off my relationship with my father, aunt, or uncle. I just want Kai to be with me. Pray for me, so that I can completely forget Uncle and live happily as Uncle would. I also hope that Uncle will always be happy with my aunt and cousin,"

After saying that, Nay stood up and hurried away. However, Luke held his hand and held it for a moment. "I'd love to hug you but I know we can't be like that. I've always hoped for happiness for you, Nay, too,"

Without saying anything else, Nay brushed Luke's hand off and put on his sunglasses and left. Kai chased after her from behind and grabbed her best friend's arm.

A clear liquid fell from Luke's eye patch. It was a pain that he had never shown in front of Nay.
