"Where's Kanaya?" ask a middle-aged man with half-bald hair and a fairly thick sweater.

"Mr Rivers. I thought, You were kidding me when you said you wanted to follow me here" Kai told the guest who turned out to be Nay's father. "Nay sleep. After taking the medicine. The doctor just got home. The infusion has also been revoked,"

Otis immediately went in to see Kanaya and he saw his daughter lying weakly on the bean couch. "Why not in the room? Don't tell me, even when infused he sleeps in this bean bag!"

Kai gives Otis time to accompany him. He closed the door of his room tightly and did not interfere with the father and son's time.

The next morning, Nay awakens and is shocked to find Otis asleep next to him. Nay walks by sneaking around to look for Kai in his room.

Without knocking, Nay opens the room and sees Kai still asleep. The girl sat beside Kai's bed and stroked his face. All his anger evaporated just like that when he saw Kai. "Kai, thanks for everything. I really want to love you, Kai. But why is it so hard to open my heart to you?" whispered Nay while rubbing Kai's cold cheek.

Kai catches Nay's wrist. "It's easy to love me, Nay. If you have trouble opening your heart, take it easy, I'll forcefully open it, break in there and ruffle your heart until you say you love me,"

Nay's face turned red and a smile was on her pretty face. "Hahaha, just try it," then, Nay remembered the real purpose of her coming to Kai. "Ah, you traitor! What's my dad here for? You must have told my dad I was sick, right? Yeah, right? Why, anyway?"

"So your father calms down" replied Kai briefly. The man got out of bed and invited Nay to breakfast. "Eat, yuk. I hungry. Where's vitamins? Already drunk?"

Nay shook his head and the gift from his head was a little flick on Nay's forehead. "Eat your medicine and vitamins! Change your lifestyle if you want to feel the pleasure of the first night,"

"It's over!" nay was upset.

Kai looked at the green bead and shook his head. Secretly, Otis listened to the conversation of the two people while smiling lightly. As soon as he heard they were going out, Otis tiptoed and returned to the sofa where he had slept earlier.

Alma shook her head while massaging her temple. "Honestly, Luke. I was trying to keep our marriage going until I adopted Chloe in the hope that you would see me and forget about Nay. But all my hopes are gone."

"I tried it, Alma. You can scold me if I don't try to learn to love you again. I've tried but I can't" Luke said, trying to defend himself.

Alma shook her tailbone to the dining chair. His face looked very tired and his eyes were black. "Kanaya is very young and she is beautiful. Is that what attracted you to him?"

"Young and beautiful is relative. There's something about him that makes me interested in him and not only me, let's say, Felix North, Kai Fletcher, and Sean West, they're men who like Nay not because Nay is beautiful," answer Luke. The man tried to remember how he initially liked Kanaya.

His bold and reckless attitude, his intelligence, and the girl could have all sorts of expressions at one time. Maybe this is why Luke likes Nay.

His face flushed red as Luke recalled how he spent time with his niece. Alma noticed a change in Luke's countenance and spontaneously slapped her husband on the cheek. "What are you thinking, Luke!"

Luke held her cheek. "What the fuck?"

"I'm going to get out of here! But I want you to know that, at any time, I'll never divorce you, Luke. I will be waiting for you!" resolutely Alma, she immediately went inside the room and packed some of her belongings and Chloe's. "You didn't stop me?"

Luke opens his arm, allowing Alma to leave. "Please, if that's what you need. Think about it, our current relationship is not okay and if you insist on continuing this relationship, we will hurt each other."

"Whatever happens, I still won't get divorced from you, Luke. Can't I ask for the rest of that love?" ask Alma. The woman didn't care that she looked so pitiful at the moment.

"I don't have the rest of love. All my love has been given to Kanaya. Ii'm sorry. It just happened without me noticing" Luke said. He tried to stare at the brown green bead that was very similar to Nay's bead.

A tear came down from his eye. "Don't you leave it a little for me, Luke? My love is still so much for you, I don't know who to share it with."

"Share it to Chloe and yourself. It's my fault I love Kanaya too much" Luke said. The man couldn't stop blaming himself.

Luke walked up to Alma and hugged her. "Don't get out of my life, Luke. I'm just like you, I love you so much that I don't leave love to myself" Alma sobbed in the arms of the man who is still officially her husband.

"I need some time alone, Alma and I hope you understand that" Luke said.

The beautiful woman nodded. "I understand and may we still have a chance to fix our marriage, Luke,"

"You know we can't, Alma. What else do you want to fix? You already know about my feelings. I don't want to hurt you more if we stick together" Luke said desperately. For Luke, it's all very clear. His heart was sure he would feed it to Kanaya.

Alma pushes her suitcase and rushes out, hoping Luke will stop her. But apparently, no! Luke didn't even look at him.

"Luke, I'll be waiting for you. I will wait for you without time until everything is back to how it was" Alma said and then she left. The woman hoped that her disappearance would be temporary and not forever.
