"You're crazy, Nay! We entered the DPO in less than six hours! Ckck! It's crazy!" Kai can't stop nagging Nay. Nay's decision to run away from her wedding ceremony now impacts her life as well. "What should we do now, Nay? I don't think why are you doing this crazy thing?"

"Because I don't want to get married. I'll take responsibility for you, Kai. You can live quietly and don't think about my mistakes again today, okay?" answer Nay casually.

Kai shook his head. How could he let Nay endure all this even though it was all because of the crazy decision he had made. "We take this matter together,"

"What is your heart made of, Kai? You're still friends with me when you know I hurt you a lot. This time, let me repay your kindness," said Nay. Her voice choked, the girl was moved by Kai's kindness.

"That's easy. Accept my love then you have returned my kindness, hahahaha. Joking, don't put it in the heart. I won't let you endure this on your own" Kai clasped Nay's hand to calm her down. "We're both facing this. You must be scared, right?"

Nay nodded. "Hiks, I'm sorry, Kai."

Kai hugged the girl who was still wearing this wedding dress and let her cry.

Before long, Kai contacts Otis and informs Otis that they are in Kanaya's apartment. "We're in Nay's apartment, sir,"

"Where is he now?" ask Otis. His voice sounded furious. "I only have one daughter but I feel like I have four boys! He makes me ashamed and greasy! Ouch, head. I'll be there now!"

Kai could imagine Otis' facial expression as he said that sentence. "Okay, Mr. Rivers. Nay's asleep, I think he's also psychologically tired. I hope you don't scold him too much,"

"Huh! Who do you dare to organize me? That's my business!" Otis hung up his phone and immediately asked the driver to drive him to Nay's apartment.

Of course Otis was furious because the cooperation agreement he had planned with North Finance Corporate was canceled. The North family is deeply distrusted by Nay's perceived disrespect for their son, Felix North.

A few minutes later, she reached Nay's apartment. The man opened the door to his daughter's apartment but it was locked with a password. Impatiently, Otis banged on the door. "Kanaya! Open door!"

Kai half ran and opened the door for Otis. "Nay still te-,"

"I don't care! Brash kid!" Otis walks to the room where Nay is asleep. She was stunned when she saw how soundly her daughter slept still wearing a wedding dress. "Fletcher, please don't bother me and Nay. I'm handing you my phone. Answer all calls and record any questions or requests you don't understand!" otis's orders. "And, Kai. Thanks for everything,"

Kai nodded in understanding and closed the door to Nay's room slowly. He knows he can't escape punishment either and he'll be ready to take the punishment for him.

Meanwhile, Otis lies down next to Nay. The girl sensed her father was beside her and immediately hugged Otis. "I'm so sorry, Pa,"

Otis patted the back of the hand that was coiled on his distended stomach. Missing has been the emotion that has mastered it since this morning. "I'm still mad at you, Nay. You're my daughter but I don't know how many times you've embarrassed me in front of dozens of journalists and my business associates? What's in your brain until you can escape like you did this morning?"

"I don't want to get married" replied Nay. He rested his head on his father's shoulder. "I'm scared,"

Otis exhaled. "Then why did you ask Felix to marry her and give her hope?"

The middle-aged man felt guilty and he closed his eyes for a moment to reflect on the mistake he made. The widowed man tried to feel the pain felt by his daughter. "It seems I have a lot to learn from Fletcher how to understand how you feel, Nay. I think it's a powerful way to help you forget about your uncle,"

"But it makes me sick, Pa. Papa's like killing me slowly" Nay sobbed. His voice was interrupted due to his sobs.

Otis was struck by lightning when his daughter said she had killed him slowly. "I'm sorry, Nay. I don't know how you can forget Luke. I didn't know I turned out to make you like this,"

"I just want Uncle Luke, Papa," whispered Nay still sobbing.

"We all know that's impossible, Nay," Otis replied.

While Nay pours his heart out to Otis, elsewhere, Luke thinks of Nay. Ever since returning from that messy wedding, Luke hasn't stopped thinking about Nay.

Unknowingly, he held her lips. It was still a sweet kiss given by Nay that night. "Arghh! Why am I suddenly thinking about it?"

"Think of who, honey?" ask Alma who came suddenly and broke Luke's daydream.

"Oh, no. I'm not thinking about anyone, honey. Where's Chloe?" ask Luke. He tries to distract his wife so that Alma does not suspect him.

Alma smiled and pointed towards Chloe's bed. "He's asleep. He was not used to traveling far. We have to take her so we can take her on a trip,"

Luke nodded. "Yes, Honey. We'll get used to him. I changed clothes first. Your brother's comforting today. I don't know where his son is right now,"

"Are you thinking about it, honey? I mean, Kanaya. Are you thinking about that girl?" ask Alma. Although Luke covers up her feelings, Alma can feel that her husband is still thinking about Nay.

"Do you want an honest answer or not?" Luke asked his wife again.

Alma took a breath and held onto the chair that was in front of her. "Not necessary, is it? I already know the answer if you ask me that,"

Luke walked over to his wife and hugged Alma. "I'm trying, honey. I kept trying to get Kanaya out of my heart. Please, be patient,"

Alma turns her body into a face to face with Luke. He brought his face closer to Luke and landed his lips on Luke's lips which he had long since missed.

For a split second, Alma thought her kiss was unrequited. Just as he let go of his kiss, Luke pulled his waist and scooped Alma's lips. The kiss turned instantly into an exciting and increasingly demanding pagutan.

For the first time after their relationship is being tested, Luke kisses Alma in the heat of the moment. When Nay is heartbroken at wanting Luke's love, Luke tries as hard as he can to forget Nay's shadow from his mind.
