Chapter 0.2 Escape

Seeing the confused king, Ciel came forward and asked for permission to speak.

“What if I am returned to my world?”

A witch answered him,” It can not, the condition you can go home is to defeat the demon king.”

Ciel was silent at the answer. The king decided to confer with the higher-ups in another room. Others were asked to wait.

Richard approached Ciel and said, “You will be a burden huh.”

Marie came to Ciel and said, “Your name is Ciel right? Stay calm.”

"Thank you" said Ciel.

Meanwhile in another room, the king and some people were in a meeting.

“What should we do to him?”

“If other countries find out, we will be booed.”

“Maybe we also asked for compensation, due to high calling costs.”

The higher-ups said their thoughts. Finally one of them gave advice to lock Ciel in a dungeon until.

“It's very risky.”

“It's okay if we do it when everyone has fallen asleep. How?”

“We do it when everyone is asleep. We will ask him to sleep in the palace tonight,” said the king

The king and the higher-ups returned.The king said that Ciel would stay in the palace until the demon lord lost. After that they all left the room. Raphael and the others were taken to their rooms. While Ciel's room was different from theirs.

At midnight, several masked people walked in the dark hallway of the palace. The lighting inside the palace was already turned off. They walked closer to a room. That room was Ciel's.

They checked if the door was locked. The door to the room was not in the key. Then they entered and ambushed Ciel.

“What...” Ciel awakens. He did not have time to ask for help, because his mouth was immediately closed using a cloth. His hands and feet were tied, his eyes were also covered with cloth.

“Who are these? Where will I take you?”

Not long after they arrived at the prison. The men untied and covered Ciel's eyes and mouth. They threw Ciel into the room and locked him out.

“What really happened? Someone please answer me!!”

Ciel was in a dark and cold room alone. The next morning, someone came to give me some food.

“This is your food.”

He put in a tray containing food and drinks through a hole under the door.

Ciel asked the man, “Actually what happened? Why am I being put in jail?”

“I was ordered not to talk to you. But I'm sorry about what happened to you.”

The man then left Ciel. Not long after, 3 black hooded men entered Ciel's prison. He who was asleep at that time, beaten to a pulp. Because of the dark room Ciel was unable to see their faces clearly.

One of them said, “Why do you have to come? It's all your fault!!”

Then someone else hit Ciel with a stick. After a long while, they left the injured Ciel on the floor just like that. Ciel tried to stand up but because of the injuries on his body he could not.

“Who were those people? He said it was my fault? But what have I done?”

After that, Ciel fell asleep. In the afternoon the person who delivered the food came back.

“I came to deliver food.”

“Thank you..,” said Ciel in a soft voice.

From inside, Ciel took out his morning meal tray. The food deliveryman was surprised, seeing the tray that was hit by blood spots.

“What happened?” ask the guy.

“So morning you said you shouldn't talk to me, right?”

After saying that he left without carrying the tray.

“So the reason other countries chose heroes before is to protect themselves?”

Ciel then ate. After eating he looked for a way to escape from prison

Tomorrow afternoon the 3 people who beat up Ciel earlier came back. They beat up Ciel again.

It happened for a few days. While he was still lying on the floor, he saw a chain lying down . He got the idea to escape from that place. Then he also took a few spoons to sharpen with stones.

1 week later, the 3 people who beat up Ciel came. Ciel sat at the end of the room. One of them approached Ciel. When the man was about to touch her, Ciel directly stabbed the man's hand and banged his head against the wall until unconscious. Then one of them tried to escape, but Ciel threw 2 spoons that stuck at his feet. The man fell down at the door.

Now there is 1 person left. The man pulled out a sword. Ciel took the chains that were on the floor and used them as weapons. The man came forward to stab Ciel, but he managed to dodge it.

Ciel threw the chain he was holding so it wrapped around the person's feet. Ciel pulled him to a fall and fainted.

Ciel didn't want to kill him, so he left that person behind. He then approached the person who had fallen in front of the door.

“Please forgive me,” said the man.

Ciel opened his headscarf. He was very surprised by the face of that person. That person was Felicia's daughter.

“Why are you doing this?” ciel asked annoyed.

Felicia just couldn't answer. His face showed a look of fear.

“This is not just a waste of time.”

Ciel picked up the necklace Felicia was wearing and the sword the people were wearing. Then he left Felicia. Ciel climbed a few steps until he reached a door. Fortunately, the door was not locked. He then ran down the hall.

“I want to eat.”

There was a guard up ahead. Ciel prepared his sword. He walked slowly. He peered over the wall to check the number of guards.

“Only 2 people.”

Ciel prepared himself then he attacked the guards. The guard put up a little resistance, but Ciel managed to defeat them. He took the key on the table and left.

He passed through several hallways that had illumination. He ran to the front of a locked door.

“What is possible from the keys I took earlier..”.

Ciel tried one by one the keys until the lock was finally open. Behind the door is a ladder. He climbed the stairs and finally got outside. It turns out that he is still in the palace.

The sunlight that entered through the window hit his body. For a long time he had not seen the sunlight and warmth. Ciel was silent, then he continued his escape.

When he was running, he accidentally hit someone causing them both to fall. That person was Marie. He saw the man who hit him.

”Ci..hmmmm.”

His mouth was closed by hand by Ciel.

“Marie forgive me but I'm in a hurry,” whispered Ciel.

Ciel then stood up, but before leaving Marie held Ciel's hand.

“Wait! Said your king had fled the night after we arrived.”

“I? I just got out of that prison today.”

“Prison?”

“Iya. I've been there all along. I don't know why I was put there, but I have to leave this kingdom.”

“Where are you going?”

“Entahlah. What is clear is that I am now an enemy of this kingdom.”

“I don't quite understand what's really going on, but I feel that it's not wrong. Then those injuries must have suffered. ”

Hearing Marie's words made her want to cry.

“Ciel, you go through the east garden of the palace. The place is not guarded, so you can go through that place.”

Ciel left Marie. He passed through several aisles until he arrived at the park called Marie. Ciel walked through the garden and came out through a small door there. He's headed straight for town.
