Chapter 64 Party 1

When we arrived at the palace, many guests were already present there. It is seen that most of them come from among the nobility or state officials. 

If I recall, it might just be us who are adventurers as well as those who are not from this beast race. Although the party members or rather former members of Yuna's party were also adventurers, they came from among the nobles as well.

When we got off the train we passed Yuna. 

“For a long time no see,” greet Yuna.

“How are you?” ask Laura.

“Well, if you guys?”

“Good too.”

Luna suddenly whispered to me,”Who is this woman?”

This is the first time they met. I told Luna that the woman was Yuna. Hearing that, Luna and her friends were shocked. Perhaps they had not expected that they would meet Yuna this soon.

“By the way, I saw some new people. Are they your members, Ciel?” yuna asked while looking at Luna and her friends who were behind me.

Luna walked forward and introduced herself and her friends. But, being nervous they were finally speechless.

“They are members of your new party, Luna and her friends. For a personal introduction you can just do it later,” I said.

Yuna smiled and clasped Luna's hand, “So you guys will accompany me later. I Yuna glad to meet you guys.”

“Ka..we are also happy to meet you,” said Luna.

“No need to use formal language, we are friends right?”

“Good.”

Yuna took Luna and her friends into the palace, while me and my group followed behind.

Yuna explained, that in addition to nobles some people from ordinary circles were also present. There are traders, entrepreneurs, and also meritorious adventurers. 

We entered into a palace that has a Japanese style or rather a castle. Party held in the back garden. 

It turns out that comes quite a lot too. I saw the members of Yuna's party who used to be present as well. They look at me cynically. Maybe because of the dungeon conquest incident back then.

At least I'm getting used to this look. But it was different with Emilia staring at them coldly as well. 

“Already Emilia,” I said.

“But...,” complained Emilia slowly.

“I'm fine, but thank you for being mad at me.”

Emilia smiled.

Charlote and Laura went to try some of the food provided at this event. So did Luna and the others.

When I asked if Emilia wanted to eat something, she said no and refused to leave me alone. That's why I have to take some food. Although I still don't feel hungry.

Emilia also followed me but she stuck to me. I feel bad not because of this, but there is an envious look that leads to me or rather jealousy.

If I recall, ever since we entered, some men have been staring at Emilia and trying to smile at her. But Emilia did not care about them.

“Emilia, why don't you try to meet them?” manya curious.

“That's because their gaze on the master made me see them no different from the monsters we fought in the dungeon,” replied Emilia coldly.

I just found out that Emilia can be like this. 

“In addition, I am also not at all interested in them,” added Emilia.

But other than Emilia, some of them were also paying attention to Laura. For the reason, it was not necessary to ask anymore, which was the same as Emilia. Charlote doesn't exist, but I'm sure that when she grows up, she will be a very beautiful woman.

While Emilia and I were eating, Yuna came to us.

“The group you brought turned out to be very good, I so did not have the heart to bring them to the battlefield,” Yuna said.

“Wait! You said Luna was Laura's sister?” yuna asked in surprise.

I nodded my head.

“That makes me even worse.”

Laura and Charlote came to our place.

“Not good about what?” asked Laura curiously.

I then told Laura and Charlote about what we just talked about.

“About that, you don't have to worry, Yuna. As Ciel said, Luna was eager to join the group of heroes. Similarly with his friends,” said Laura.

“Then be thankful. Thanks to you guys.”

Besides, I haven't seen the royal family yet. Out of curiosity I asked Yuna.

“About that, the royal family will be present in a moment. Their table has a guard at the end there,” Yuna replied.

Yuna also explained that the royal family's habit of attending the party was a little late. It was intended that guests enjoy the party and also talk to others. 

They will be willing to be themselves if there is a royal family. Everyone present also understood that. Although the king himself also said it was okay to enjoy the party.

“Like that yes. Emilia do you know about this?”

“Yes, I've heard from both of my parents.”

Yuna asked Emilia about her parents. Emilia replied that both her parents were residents of Sakura Empire before. This is the first time I know too.

“This is different from the party at my place,” Charlote said suddenly.

“Means?” ask Yuna.

We haven't told Yuna who Charlote really is. Emilia and Laura looked at me as if it was okay to tell Yuna. 

When I was about to tell Yuna, Charlote said that she was actually a noble in Ellis. But he did not tell me she was a princess.

It takes a middle ground to protect Ellis' royal family and also her relationship with Sakura Empire. 

Although Charlote was still a child, she understood politics better than me and the others. No wonder she could one day become a queen.

“I don't know what to say, but for sure your group is unique. Even your acquaintances too,” Yuna said with a laugh.

We continue our conversation, especially discussing heroes from other countries. Yuna was a little surprised by the other heroes especially about their nature. 

“This is also the reason we want your son-in-law,” I said.

“It's true. You are different from the others,” continued Emilia.

As we were talking, a voice sounded that said, “The royal family will be arriving soon.”

All the guests immediately looked towards the palace door. Then a member of the royal family came out that door. They have 4 people. King, queen, prince and princess.

The prince might be the same age as Emilia or older and for a princess the same age as Charlote. They looked at me and Emilia.  

They looked similar to Emilia, the silver wolf War Beast. Emilia looked at them with a surprised look. 

“What's Emilia?” my many.

“I'm just a little surprised master. Because I thought I was the only silver wolf left after my parents died.”

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, I'm fine. Sorry to make the master worried.”

Then, the members of the royal family walked towards their table.
