Chapter 58 Charlote and the Dungeon

As soon as the conquering forces entered, the four of us waited for quite a long time to make a distance with them. I didn't want us to meet them because yesterday I canceled to take part in this mission.

"Master, didn't you get the glyph relic when we defeated the Lich King?" ask Emilia.

"They are giants" answered Laura.

"But they are like humans" Emilia said.

"We elves have a long life. Some are over 1000 years old. I heard it from a 500-year-old elf adventurer."

As we approached the bodies, suddenly from behind we heard footsteps approaching.

"The three of you get ready to fight" I said.

Laura activated her Divine Protection for us. He also uses Null All. Emilia took out her sword and coated it with Blue Fire.

I gave Umbra to Laura and Charlote as additional protection. As for me is Luminatio.

Finally they appeared, giants. The giants carried several weapons such as swords, axes, and hammers. But the weapons look damaged and will soon be destroyed when used.

As an opening, I attacked them using an electrical attack that I pulled out of my index finger. I managed to subvert some of the giants and also destroyed some of their weapons.

Now it's time to start a close combat.

"Come on Emilia" I said.

"Good master."

We both went forward and if any giants would attack us while fighting, Charlote would attack them.

Charlote showered them with fireballs. When it had not fallen, Emilia and I finished it. Laura also helped out by using her Holy Ray.

"Charlote don't throw too much mana, just focus on the ones attacking Ciel and Emilia" Laura said.

After fighting for quite a while, we finally defeated them all. I then counted the number of giants we defeated and their number was 12 giants.

Emilia compared it to the one defeated by the conquering forces. The number they beat was 10, so we were 2 points ahead.

I looked around at their former fight and it turned out that they defeated the giants quickly. I think the number of adventurers in it is also influential apart from strength and skill.

I also noticed the way Charlote fought earlier. It's better than yesterday.

Different from the previous area, several giants appeared from the left and right. They also carried weapons like before, but this time they wore armor as well.

I froze their legs so they couldn't walk and then we attacked them. I used Gladio Ignis and Gladio Grando as weapons.

Their number is less than we fought before, which is only 8 giants. Their attacks possessed such immense power that they could destroy the pillars in this room.

There was a giant who threw an axe towards Charlote, but was fended off by Umbra who formed a shield. Charlote attacked the giant and managed to kill him using her Ice Blast.

We continued to fight them until all the giants lost. This was also quite time consuming as their defense was extremely strong. Even I need some attacks to break through.
