Chapter 26 the Black Dragon

“Emilia, Laura wake up.”

“It's time to change ya?” laura asked, still sleepy.

“Not. It's morning, let's go.”

“Eh? Master not sleeping?” ask Emilia. His face seemed worried about me.

“Ya.”

Emilia then held my hand and asked, “ Will the master be okay later?”

“I'm fine Emilia. Besides that I also want you guys to get enough rest.”

“Thank you Ciel.”

We cleared the tent and then headed towards Blood Hill to defeat the Black Dragon. We will fight monsters that are even stronger than the dungeon boss.

Before we entered into the Black Dragon realm, I used God Blessing and Laura used Holly Protection on the three of us. After that, we entered the Black Dragon territory.

 The smell of burning meat that is very stinging has been smelled, even though we just entered a few steps. I already know that the casualties of this Black Dragon are numerous, but I didn't know that it could be this severe.

We continued walking through the grass that was black because it was burning. I saw many corpses of both humans and animals lying everywhere. Everything is burning.

I then prepared Arcus and also Ignis just in case. Emilia also prepared a masamune that had been wrapped in her Blue Fire. This is the first time Emilia and I have moved so cautiously.

“Have you seen it?” I asked Laura because ever since we got in here, we haven't seen Black Dragon.

“Not yet. Maybe he was on top of a hill, ” Laura replied.

I feel like something's wrong with this. We knew that anyone who entered this territory would be attacked immediately. But until now we have not seen the existence of the Black Dragon itself.

“Don't he be fighting someone on the other side of this hill,” I thought.

Then I said to Emilia and Laura that we will move towards the other side of Blood Hill using Caleo to make it faster.

We're moving there as fast as we can. I just wish that whoever was there was alive.

But when we arrived, it was too late. They've been burned.

The Black Dragon then looked towards us and flew over. This is when our fight against this monster began.

I fired a few fire arrows at him and Emilia also fired her Blue Fire. But as I thought it all couldn't hurt him. We have to find a way to attack him.

I saw Laura was still silent, the Black Dragon was closing in on us.

“Sorry Laura,” I said while hugging Laura.

I took Laura away while Emilia fished for the Black Dragon. If Laura continued like this then she would definitely be killed. I think we should ask him to step down. Me and Emilia will overcome the Black Dragon

“Sorry Ciel,” Laura said in a soft voice. I know he's very scared.

“Laura, go. Leave this place.”

“Then, what about you and Emilia?”

“We'll hold it until you get away from here. We'll catch up with you later.”

“But..”.

I rubbed his head and smiled. Then I went to help Emilia. Looks like we're gonna have to come up with a new plan. Indeed from the beginning I planned to go with Emilia only, because I knew this would definitely happen to Laura. It's my fault I agreed to come with us.

I used Caleo and replaced Arcus with Gladio. I will try to fight him from close range. I saw Emilia use Mirror Image to divide herself. Sometimes he attacks from close range but also sometimes he attacks from distance.

I also used Caleo to Emilia so that she could do battle in the air. I attacked the Black Dragon quickly in some parts. But I focused it on the neck as well as the wings.

But, suddenly the Black Dragon flew high away from us. I feel like something's wrong here. He started to breathe.

I know, he'll definitely shoot fire. But why didn't he start a fire.

“Emilia stay away from here now!”

I then approached him.

“But, have you done anything?”

“Yes. Although I'm still afraid, but it won't stop me.”

“Good. Let's beat him and go home.”

“Ya,” Laura said with a nod of her head.

I saw the fallen Black Dragon being burned by its own flames. Moments later the fire was extinguished and the Black Dragon was full of burns. This is our golden opportunity.

“Emilia and Laura hold her movement, I have a plan.”

I knew we couldn't have attacked him constantly to make wounds. But as a result of him being burned earlier, the wound on his head was severe enough that I might be able to attack him using Arcus.

Emilia and Laura begin their attack. They attacked his leg part now in order to minimize the movement of the Black Dragon. After changing Glyph, I attacked him and it didn't work.

I tried to combine it with Ignis but the result was the same. I was wondering if the combined forces of Union Arcus and Union Ignis could be used or not.  

After trying it, it can. I don't know what the attack was but I feel like it's gonna work.

“Emilia get away from there!”

After Emilia moved away I fired a combination of the 2 Glyph Union earlier. The Black Dragon used its tail to deflect its direction towards the sky.

“Fail?” ask Laura.

“No, this is what I'm after.”

A moment later the fire arrow that flew into the sky turned into a rain of fire arrows. The arrows were burning the Black Dragon. In addition, several arrows hit the wound from the Black Dragon until it was also burned from the inside.

I feel like this fight is actually not too difficult as long as it finds the right way. After waiting for a while the Black Dragon finally died.

Laura walked over to me.

“Thank you for helping me to avenge my friends and also to protect our future from Black Dragon.”

“Sama-sama.”

Emilia ran towards us and she hugged Laura.

“You're okay Laura?”

“Ya, thank you. Sorry to worry you.
