Chapter 44 the Royal Dungeon 2

"Royal Dungeons?"

"Yes. A livable dungeon. There are monsters in it too. Right now you are on the 2nd floor of this dungeon."

"Then how many floors are there in this dungeon?" ask Emilia.

"The "dungeon has 20 floors. When you've entered the 2nd floor you can't get out, unless you defeat the boss who is on the 5th floor."

Looking at the territory, I know that the monsters here must be like hornets and slimes. But looking at the sky, there might also be dragons on this floor.

We continued our journey on the 3rd floor. It was a pity that a place as beautiful as this was a dungeon filled with monsters.

A few moments later, a lot of slimes came towards us. These slime-slime are small but many in number. In addition there were some slimes of gigantic size also coming following. It's a war against slime I thought.

The combination of Ignis and Grando's attack easily defeated many of the slimes that attacked us. Emilia used Blue Fire to burn those slimes. For now I asked Laura to save mana, so she used the Light Ball to fight the slimes.

Indeed, their numbers are very large, but they are also very easy to beat. After some time, we managed to defeat the slime-slime that attacked us.

Just as we finished dealing with the slime, a few hornets came again towards us. I thought that if it was possible that this was the same as on the 1st floor, the enemy would keep coming until we found the cause. We also could not find the door leading to the 4th floor.

But this 3rd floor was similar to the garden that was outside of the dungeon. Although I know that the sky above us is the blue sky of a dungeon. There's no way that weirdness is on top anymore. If not above, it means below.

"Emilia, Laura, please hold them for a moment. I want to check this floor from the air" I said.

"Good master. Leave it to us" said Emilia.

I then used Caleo to fly and check out the peculiarities of this 3rd floor. I thought it would be easier to see from above thoroughly. I used Luminatio before flying to protect Emilia and Laura.

From end to end I checked carefully. There is no obvious oddity. However, as I increased the height, I could see there were 4 points of light forming a square around this floor.

Without a second thought, I fired an arrow using Arcus at the four points. When the dots were destroyed, in the middle of this flower garden appeared a giant door. That door was none other than the door leading to the 4th floor.

When I landed, I immediately told Emilia and Laura to run towards that door. We don't have time to fight the monsters here continuously. The two of them immediately left the monsters behind and ran towards the door. We finally arrived at the 4th floor.
