Chapter 19 Lesson

Raphael and his group set up their own tent, which also belonged to Laura and Mia at the edge of the pool. I didn't set up a tent because I was probably going to stay up late. Emilia was also not because she wanted to accompany me.

Then Mia went back to her tent.

When they woke up, the adventurers the guild had sent to explore came. They were quite numerous, more than the time we came. I also saw Rick among them.

We all continue our journey. Richard joined the paladin army. Laura and Marie join the priest team. Then Felicia's daughter with the witch team with Mia. Ruka and Rafael join the attacking team. Meanwhile, Emilia and I were separated from the group.

We are tasked to monitor along with several people. The group had been attacked several times by monsters, but they managed to overcome it. Me and Emilia also faced some monsters on the way.

We all keep moving deeper and deeper. Until we arrived at a very large and spacious room with a floor of rocks.

“What room is this?” ask Marie to Laura.

“I don't know either. We did not go deeper earlier.”

I have a bad feeling about this room.

“Emilia prepare your sword, I feel something is wrong with this place.”

“Good master.”

Not long after that, an earthquake occurred. The rocks below us started moving. Some adventurers look panic, as well as Rafael's group. Here we go, we'll face the guardian.

The floor in the room was destroyed. A giant monster appeared from underground. We could not see it clearly because of the dust. Some witches use wind magic to get rid of the dust.

And when the dust disappeared, a giant tortoise was seen. We're going to fight that monster. For Rafael and the others this is a test they have to face.
