Chapter 18 Training of Heroes

After waiting for quite a while, they finally came out. I asked Mia what they were discussing inside. Mia replied that what they were talking about was how long the heroes would stay in this city and also the plan to enter the dungeon tomorrow.

“Today we will buy the equipment to enter the dungeon,” replied Mia.

After that we with the hero party went to visit some shops to buy equipment. Laura tells Marie what items a priest needs in a dungeon. They look like brothers I guess. While Mia helps Felicia and also Richard.

Emilia helps Ruka because they are almost similar from the way of fighting, although until now Emilia does not have a class. I helped Rafael in choosing the goods. From his eyes I saw that he had a burden. Then I tried asking about the problem.

Then I helped Rafael pick out some items that suited him. When it was over, I was Emilia, and Laura was also farewell. Meanwhile Mia and the hero party went around the city. I couldn't wait to try Ignis so I went into the woods. Emilia came with me while Laura she wanted to go to the guild office for some business.

In the forest, we found some goblins. I tried to use Ignis to defeat them. After a few fights I finally understood the use of Ignis.

Ignis will fire a small fireball at the target. Then when combined with it will be a huge fireball. Combined with Gladio, it would bring out the sword of fire.I gained a new knowledge today, then I and Emilia returned to the inn.

The next day, I was with Emilia and Laura to meet Mia and the hero party in the guild office. The day of our departure for the dungeon finally arrived. Mia carried a sword and a small shield. I wonder exactly what class he has.

“Sure can. My class is a magic knight. A sword and magic user. But sihrku is not as good as mage. I'm more skilled at using the sword.”

We then leave. On the way we faced some monsters like goblins and also warg wolf. We let the hero party fight them. But when a hobgoblin appears, it seems that they have never fought it. So Mia and I fought them to set an example.

We arrived at the dungeon. Just entering, we were immediately attacked by several hornets. Richard advanced to block them, while Felicia shot out some ice crystals. It's a good cukuo for them, but…

“Argh!” Richard yelling.

He was hit by a hornet sting. He did not expect that the hornets were different from the monsters they had faced before. Their attacks were more organized than monsters like warg wolf and goblins.

It was also a mistake from Rafael and Ruka who did not cover the blind spot on Richard. Marie was also late to use Nul Poison. Laura can actually use it as before, but she accidentally doesn't do it for Marie to learn.

More hornets started coming. Emilia and I came forward to overcome them. Laura treats Richard and Mia who protect them. Rafael and Ruka come to help me and Emilia, but they're actually just annoying. They better pay attention first.

As expected, the two of them were also hit by hornet stings. I asked Emilia to take them to Laura, while I fought those hornets. When the two of them had already been taken to Laura's place, Emilia helped me with her Blue Fire.

After a while, we managed to defeat them. It's the same as me and Emilia who are leveling up. I climbed up to level 43 and Emilia 40.

Emilia has a Class change.

As I expected, Emilia finally got a class change. While Mia and Laura told Rafael and the others about their mistake, Emilia and I talked about the class change.

We were both looking for a place a bit far away from them because this was our problem.

“Emilia congratulations you get the class.” change

“Is that really a master? I don't know.”

“Perhaps because of this master and servant system that keeps you from getting notifications.”

“Can be also master. What class do I get?”

“Shadow Princess.”

“I've never heard of it master.”

“I don't know either, maybe like my glyph master. So take it or not?”

Emilia becomes the Shadow Princess

Skill : Blue Fire B, Mirror Image B, Stealth B, Storage S, Sword Mastery A

His skill also levelled up and he gained Sword Mastery A. He's getting stronger. But we must not be satisfied, because the demon lord must be stronger.

When we finished we returned. Mia and Laura were also done, so we continued on our way. When we face the hornet again, Rafael and the others can cope well with them.

We also faced treant. Emilia and I set an example. When we faced off against the treants again Rafael and the others fought them and succeeded. Little by little, their abilities get better.  

We continued walking until we reached the pool where me and the other adventurers had camped before when the mission was to conquer the dungeon. We decided to rest and set up a tent in that place.
