Emilia said her mother was Yukimura Akagi. His family name is the same as the king. 

“So it is true,” murmured queen.

“You mean?” emilia asked confusedly.

“Akagi is my older sister. So you are my nephew Emilia,” said the king.

My friends and I were all shocked, even though we were actually ready to hear this. Of course the most surprised was Emilia.

Then the name Emilia itself does not use the name of this country. His name was more inclined towards the area of Tornia and Ellis. There must be a cause.

“How can they be in Tornia?” ask Emilia.

“This is an old story and only a few people know this,” said the king.

The king began to recount what happened 23 years ago, when he was still a prince and Emilia's mother still lived here.

At that time, the neighboring kingdom of Sakura Empire named Liden started a war to seize some areas belonging to the Sakura Empire. They say it was their territory.

That's absolutely true. But Sakura Empire got the territory not through war but bought it. This is similar to when America bought Alaska from Russia.

The king said it and showed the letter, but Liden did not believe it and started the war. The battle lasted for almost 5 years and showed that Liden lost.

Not wanting any more casualties, Sakura Empire proposes peace and is approved. Representatives from Liden came to the Sakura Empire to sign a peace treaty. The second prince of Liden who became the representative.

But before signing it, he who saw Emilia's mother at that time added the requirements. He would sign it if he married Emilia's mother. He felt that Liden would win the war but the truth was the opposite.

The king continued his story. Of course it is rejected by all the royal family even the people. Prince Liden left the room without signing a peace letter.

Later that night several shinobi from Liden come to kidnap Emilia's mother, but are caught by her father and the current king. The shinobi committed suicide before being interrogated.

On the grounds that his subordinates were killed, the second prince started a war. He said he would stop the war if he gave up Emilia's mother.

To protect Emilia's mother, the king asked Emilia's father at the time to evacuate to another country undercover. While Sakura Empire is looking for a way out of that problem. 

“There is something I want to ask before you continue the story,” said Emilia.

“Is my father also a noble?”

“No. It's just ordinary people.”

Emilia's father was a friend of her mother's at the academy. Since he was in the academy, he had great abilities. Even the king at that time asked himself to become a knight in the palace. 

After 2 years of being a knight, Emilia's mother asked her to become a personal bodyguard. All the royal members agreed because they knew that Emilia's father and mother liked each other 1. 

It was also part of the king's plan back then. In order to marry a member of the royal family, a commoner must have the same achievements as the nobles. 

The achievement he got was to defeat Triden's forces for 2 years to control several cities there. Starting in the third year of the war, he became a personal bodyguard.

The war began, the present king who was still a prince in charge. It was not until 2 months, the Sakura Empire captured the capital Liden. 

The king and the crown prince along with the Liden royal family were apparently detained by the second prince inside the palace. This was the second prince's attempt to ascend the throne.

After his release, the second prince received punishment from 2 countries. The decision is the same, execution. He and his followers received the same punishment. 

From the beginning of this war was the plan of the second prince and his followers. Some of them were convinced that they could win even though the king had banned them. Before the second war began, the royal family was detained.

After the war ended, the Sakura Empire sent some men to pick up Emilia's father and mother at Ellis, but the results were not there. 1 year later, the kingdom received a letter.

The letter was from Emilia's parents and said that they were both fine. They lived in Tornia and started a new life. They didn't want to go back to Sakura Empire first.

After receiving the letter, the king announced that Emilia's parents had died for Sakura Empire. The residents understood what it meant and made it their secret.

The truth is not told to the next generation until now. Time passed quickly until now.

Emilia looked confused and surprised after hearing all of that. 

“Emilia, welcome back home,” said the king and queen.

“Iya, I go home,” Emilia said with tears in her eyes.

It's not finished yet. The king and queen asked if Emilia wanted to stay here.

“For that, I can't. I will stay with the master. For my identity, can you keep it a secret?”

He chose to make this a secret to keep the name of his father and mother. And the truth that exists. This can be a problem between countries when it is discovered.

“We understand. But if you need something, feel free to tell us,” said the queen.

“In addition, you are the same as your mother. Prefer to stay with the person who is most valuable to you. Your face and way of speaking are the same. But the strength of your heart is the same as your father,” said the king.  

Emilia just smiled.
