While discussing about the final league of the Inter High preliminary, Kagami who came late into the gym. Seeing Nigou barking, Riko immediately analyzed the state of Kagami's body.

"Kagami-kun, are you playing basketball?" Riko asked as she walked closer to Kagami.

Kagami who heard it was shocked, as well as Rei and Kuroko who happened to hear it.

"I'm sorry. Actually we'd be in trouble if he wasn't around. But he will come after the second half. Let's just say we're the opening show. Please help, yes." Said the man with black hair and glasses.

"Kagami, you've played against Aomine before, right? Your spirit's not coming down, is it?" Ask Izuki.

"If it is, Seirin has it too." Said Kise while looking at Rei who was paying attention to the movements of the opposing team while taking notes.

The first quarter finished with a four-point margin with Touou leading the way. The second quarter begins. Kagami continues to dunk twice in a row, even though the legs are still recovering. Rei who realized that immediately approached Riko.

"Senpai, we have to replace Kagami." Rei Said. Riko agrees to Rei's request because she also realizes it. He then replaced Kagami with Koganei.

"What's? Why me? I just started." Kagami.

"Oh, just go back!  Rei and coach realized it." Said Koganei which made Kagami surprised.

Rei compresses Kagami's legs with ice and massages them while Kagami is already sitting on the bench.

"Your legs haven't fully healed yet, have they?" Said Riko who made the other players surprised.

"I'm fine! My feet at all..." Said Kagami being cut by Rei.

"You said you wouldn't worry me anymore." Rei Said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know this was gonna happen." Kagami.

"This time I forgive you." Rei said with a smile. "But next time, it won't." He then showed a face of anger that he had never shown before.

"The pain also seems to have somewhat diminished, so I'm not telling you not to play. Just let Rei tap your feet first. Take off your shoes." Riko.

Rei begins to tap Kagami's feet.

Touou's team began counterattacking. While Seirin's team has difficulty because there is no Kagami to face the high players of Touou's team.

Despite the injury, Kagami was sent back to play. Before entering the field, Kagami had a chance to look towards Rei. Rei then smiled.

Suddenly, Aomine who just came to embrace Kagami when the change of players will be made again.
