Chapter 5's

Currently, Seirin's basketball team is at Kaijou High School to train for a match.

"Kagami-kun, haven't you slept all night?" Rei asked who saw Kagami's eye bags and a hint of dark circles in his eyes.

"I think I'm too excited." Kagami.

"Are you a child? You should take care of your health. How are you sick?" Rei Said.

"If I'm sick, you'll take care of me, manager." Said Kagami slightly grinning.

Rei's face reddened by Kagami's grin, he turned his face to hide his reddened face.

From a distance, Kise ran up to them with her trademark smile.

"This place is huge, so I thought I'd better pick you up." Say it after stopping in front of them.

"Doumo (thank you)" Riko said.

Kise immediately approached Rei.

"Reicchi, after you rejected my offer to join us, I kept crying behind my pillow every night." Say Kise.

"Why is that guy?" Hyuga.

"Speak show us the way!" Kagami.

Rei then tiptoed and stroked Kise's head.

Kise was slightly surprised by the treatment Rei gave. But he was very happy to be treated that way. While the members of the basketball team Seirin was also surprised by Rei's treatment of Kise.

'Look at you, Kise! I will defeat you today!' Inner Kagami was very upset.

"As you can see. We're just making a little bit of preparation for today's match practice." Takeuchi.

"Preparation?" Riko.

"There will be nothing worth learning by the other members from watching this match." Takeuchi's words upset Riko.

"Oh.so." Said Riko who was trying to contain her frustration.

"In order not to waste time, we let the other members keep practicing. Even if the preparation is like this, you will fight the first team. Please don't let us win three times your score." Takeuchi said and left.

Kise then looks at the faces of the members of Seirin's basketball team. They all looked annoyed by the words of coach Takeuchi that were too disdainful of their abilities. Whereas, Rei still put on a flat face even though in Rei's heart he was also very upset like the others. Kise immediately approached Seirin and apologized.

"sorry. I'm really sorry. But, I'll sit on the bench. If you can upset that guy, maybe I'll be demoted to play." He said while pointing at Coach Takeuchi.

"Hey, show them where the dressing room is!" Takeuchi's orders on Kise.

"no need. Stay prepared. Because you won't wait too long." Kuroko said then went to the dressing room with team member Seirin.

Hearing Kuroko's words, Kise grinned. While Riko and Rei are preparing various things for the members of the basketball team such as towels, bottles of drinks, and so forth.

The training begins. Riko watches the children of the Kaijou basketball team. Based on the data he obtained, the members of the Seirin basketball team lost in physical strength. That made Riko anxious.

"Coach, I advise you to worry about something else instead of worrying about the lack of our team members." Rei said which made Riko turn to him. "Because in a moment, Kagami will do something crazy." Say again.

"The coach will know soon." Rei then revealed a mysterious smile.

Seirin's team managed to score first. But, due to the dunk done Kagami make one of the basketball hoops become damaged.

"We're sorry!" Said Riko while bending 90 degrees.

"Sorry, we've broken the ring." Kuroko did the same thing as Riko. "Because this way we won't be able to compete, is it okay if we use the entire field?" Say again.

Coach Takeuchi looks really angry. Finally, they used the entire field.

"Haha, you guys really made him mad." Said Kise who was laughing looking at the expression of her coach.

"Huh?" Said Kagami who did not understand.

"It's the first time I've seen a coach's face like that." Say Kise.

"Tell him, that's what you get if you underestimate us!" Kagami.

"The ring, how much does it cost?" Said Kuroko then went to gather with the other members.

"What?! We have to compensate?" Kagami said in shock.

The game resumed. This time, Kise entered the match.

"Sorry to wait." Say Kise.

Kise then rose to her feet while holding onto the part of her body that was hurting. From the bench, Rei who saw the familiarity of Kise and Kasamatsu also gave a small laugh.

'They are very funny.' Inner Rei.

Both teams kept attacking and scoring without defending. Tim Seirin then did a time out. Team Seirin was resting on the bench, while team Kaijou was seen being scolded by their coach.

"First of all, we have to face Kise-kun." Riko.

"I can't believe Kagami can't hold that guy alone. Do we need to add people to hold it?" Hyuga.

"No, there's a way to deal with it." Said Rei which made them all turn to him. "Because, he has a weakness."

"A weakness?" Riko.

"But that's not the only problem. Due to the fast flow of the game earlier, Kuroko's abilities are reduced faster than usual." Rei Said. "Misdirection ability cannot be used in more than 40 minutes. The more he used it, the more they would get used to it and the more it would become useless."

"Why didn't you tell me something this important from earlier?!" Said Riko who was very upset.

"Sorry coach, this is beyond my prediction." Rei said with his head down.

Time out is over. The match resumed.

"Why don't you just give up? It's still ten years too soon for you to defeat Kiseki no Sedai." Say Kise.

"What did you say?" Kagami.
